Want J053ea SSD + mem upgrade

Hello

I'm about to bite the bullet on a SSD (Crucial CT240M500SSD1 2.5 inch 240 GB M500) + upgrade memory.

Can someone tell me if I have a question - if it's compatible?

+ compatible memory options would be useful.

Thanks in advance.

Hello

Yes, solid player should work, but I recommend a Samsung 840 Pro series: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-Series-256GB-Solid-State/dp/B009LI7CTY

These modules are perfect for a memory upgrade: http://www.ebuyer.com/370074-corsair-8gb-1600mhz-ddr3-vengeance-laptop-memory-cmsx8gx3m1a1600c10?utm_source=google&utm_medium=products&gclid=CJaHg7uf270CFY3HtAod5TIAUg

You can upgrade to an SSD.

The simplest method is to use an SSD as the Corsair Force 3 and don't forget that you buy the kit of migration.

The migration kit comes with cloning software and a usb to SATA power cable that connects again SSD.

It is recommended that you purchase and SSD that is approximately 256 GB in quality if you can find one that is affordable.

SSD with migration in a kit options search I did.

  • Portégé R600-102: what SSD for upgrade?

    Hello everyone.

I want to upgrade my SSD the real 128 GB to a bigger: what are the specifications for the new SSD to work? Should what interface have? What physical dimensions?

    Any help will be appreciated.

    TIA,
    Flavio.

    Hello

I guess that the SSD upgrade is the same as the upgrade of the HARD drive.
The laptop support SATA controller, you will need a SATA SSD.
The old drive SSD is 9.5 mm in height the new SSD drive should support the same height.

Given that the SATA controller is not limited to any size, it should be possible to use the SSD drives more of 128 GB but there is still a matter of BIOS support.

Unfortunately, it s unclear to me if the BIOS would support more large SSD drives, but generally this should be supported.

  • 4530 > upgrade to UMTS? Upgrade SSD? Upgrade RAM? Upgrade processor? What is possible and what is not

    Hello

I have a HP Probook s 4530 with an Intel Core i5 2410M, 4 GB of RAM to processor and a normal SATA.

Now, I want to upgrade the following parts

    an SSD (max. 256 GB)

increase the RAM up to 8GB

    If possible:

    Update of the UMTS Modem

and when it's not expensive and not so expensive:

upgrade to a Blu ray player player

and an upgrade to 2630QM processor

    Now my questions:

What disk SSD can you recommend? That the bios settings are the best for this?

    I found: Intel SSD 335 series 240GB, 2.5 ", SATA 6 Gbps (SSDSC2CT240A4K5)

Is the standard RAM (4 GB) inside the laptop capable of dual channel mode and can easily buy an another RAM from another company?

    What is the best?

is it possible to upgrade my normal 4530 s with a UMTS module?

How is the name of the product?

    now for the processor:

which is the best for my laptop? and compatible with my motherboard and the other material?

Please fill out the processor type

  • The DELL MEM upgrade

    Hello

I seem to have a problem. I improved our environment vSphere 5.1 to 5.5, so I also wanted to upgrade the DELL MEM.

    I have already installed bundle dell-eql-mem-esx5 - 1.1.2.292203 and now I installed dell-eql-mem-esx5 - 1.2.0.365964

I installed MEM using vSPhere CLI command
    Setup.pl - Server = xxxxx - bundle = dell-eql-mem-esx5 - 1.2.0.365964 but it tells me that it is already installed. ???

So I run a Setup.pl - Server = xxxxxx - query and it tells me "Found Dell EqualLogic Multipathing Extension Module installed: 1.1.1 - 262227.

It is an even older than than iv'e installed in the first place. I have installed version 1.1.1 - 262227 then why does it say that? and why can't I njot install a new version?

    Thank you

MEM 1.1.2 is the 1.1.1. Version.  The difference between 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 is that a configuration file had to be changed show their support for ESXi v5.1.  This file only showed compatibilitty with ESXi v5.0, causing the installation will fail if you use the VMware Update Manager.  Thus, the version number of the actual code has not changed in 1.1.2.

I suggest to uninstall MEM 1.1.2 then try to install 1.2.0.

    Kind regards

  • PIX-515E-R-BUN MEM upgrade with PIX-515-MEM-32

    Hi all

is it maybe possible to upgrade the PIX 515E - r

with this release of PIX-515-MEM-32, without having to pay

for all PIX-525-SW-R-UR = update license.

    Concerning

    Richard

The PIX will recognize this new memory but the configuration is not supported. The upgrade of UR's memory, but also an update of license for several interfaces, failover, etc... Unless you want to add these features to your PIX, it is not necessary to upgrade memory. 32 MB is more than enough for a PIX 515R.

    Does that help?

  • End of 2008 Mac SSD & RAM Upgrade

    Hi all

I have a Macbook 13-inch, aluminum, late 2008. This is the 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, with 2x2gb DDR3 1067 MHz Kington.

I'm currently under OSX 10.9.5. My Version of boot ROM: MB51.007D.B03.

I would like to change the current drive with a 512 GB SSD Crucial. Someone of you have encountered problems with SSD Crucial on this particular Mac?

When I initially swapped to the Kington 2 GB RAM, I read that 4 GB is the max for this model at this time. Recently, I did some more research and found 8 GB might be supported if you a particular firmware. http://blog.MacSales.com/9102-secret-firmware-lets-late-08-MacBooks-use-8gb

Im looking at buying Crucial 8 GB Kit (2 x 4 GB) DDR3 - 1066 SODIMM memory for Mac. http://www.crucial.com/USA/en/ct2k4g3s1067m

I've read some people have had problems with 2 x 4 GB and used a config 1x2GB and 1x4Go. However, the post is about 3-4 years.

Once I update to SSDS and the Rams I intend to update the current firmware. Should I face any problem as soon as I update to El legend with the Rams and the SSD upgrade?

    I appreciate all the comments.

    Mike

There is no problem to occur as far as I understand your plan except that it is much more fast MacBook Pro you expect!

You should get 2.5 external HDD Enclosure also inches so that you can make drive bootable with Carbon Copy clone or SuperDuper clone!

  • Is there a compatible ssd to upgrade early 2015 Macbook Pro?

Planning on buying a new macbook pro.  Information on upgrading the early 2015 macbook pro said that it wasn't something compatible yet.  I was wondering if in 2016 if anything compatible exist now?

    OWC (macsales) can have.

But even open systems of the retina may void the warranty and can give the Genius Bar the right to deny any future service to avoid being blamed for what you broke.  Change the SSD guarantees you invalidation some.

  • NB500: 2 questions about SSD disk upgrade

    Hello world

I have a mini laptop Toshiba NB-500 and I want to replace her with a SSD HARD drive.
I chose the series Pro Q Toshiba SSD SATA III 128 GB, which I think is totally compatible with my computer.
My 2 questions of this forum are:

    1. is this true? Can I replace the HDD by the Toshiba SSD without problems?

    2. is there an accessory that allows me to connect the HARD drive replaced by a USB cable and keep it as an external hard drive?

    Thank you for your support.

    my email is [email protected]

    Soluna

You can use a SATA SSD in NB500 since the laptop supports the SATA controller. But you won't get the full performance SATA III supported by this SSD drive. I guess that the portable computer s controller supports only SATA II ability.

If you want to use the old HDD 2.5 as external USB HDD, I recommend buying a SATA-to-USB external case. It would be the best solution to get the HARD drive connected to one of the USB ports

Buy the same type of memory you have in the picture.

    The SSDS works perfectly.

You have the option to add a card SSD m2 also.

I decided to buy a stream 14 '' and Curry of rep said that I could pass the 32gig to 64gig (because they did not have the 64 gig for sale). However, I find no MEM card anywhere.

Nobody knows how far the 14-z050sa can go up in MEM please, and where I can get replacements/upgrades of?

I read that Members have not much of a life time with operations 'swap file', so I am a little concerned about the issue and I could even go as far as to return the device for curries without even be open if I can not find an answer on this.

    Hello

    I checked the Manual: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04400176.pdf

and it seems that the MEM module is soldered to the motherboard because there is not a spare part. Means that you will have to replace the whole motherboard to get more storage.
