  I see you are trying to use the metallic photo paper when printing photos.

  Just to let you know, metallic photo paper is not supported with the HP printer.  If you want to try to use the metallic photo paper, I suggest affecting the Best quality level so that the printer prints slow page. This will reduce the risk of smears and streaks.

Needless to say, I pressed the option 'print' too many times, but without any result.  Low and behold, weeks later whenever something must be completed all I get are the original papers I needed!  How to erase the past and now unnecessary printing. As soon as the printer is turned on it starts automatically print... a lot of waste of paper and ink!

  You will need to remove them from the queue for the printer on your computer.  Check the icon of the printer at the bottom right and select all and right click and delete.

  Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I see you want to know where to find the address for your printer Deskjet 2540 ePrint.

  The Deskjet 2540 printer does not support the HP ePrint feature so there's no email ePrint.  I've included the Specifications printer Deskjet 2540 for reference.

  However, you should be able to add the printer to the application on your phone as long as the phone is connected to the printer is connected to the same wireless network.   Once the phone is connected to the same wireless network, you should have no problem using the mobile app from HP ePrint to print.  I've included the HP ePrint Mobile App FAQ document as additional reference.

  In general, I think after five years HP may terminate some older products to make room for new products. This does not mean that these older products are considered as obsolete. When a product reaches the mark of ten years from the date of introduction, that would be what they consider obsolete. This would mean that HP is unable to develop new drivers for the new technological advances.

  Items scanned by scanner are stored as Images (usually from the MPEG files) so I would look in the pictures folder. Otherwise if you remember what you call the files when you saved them you could also search for them via Windows Explorer.

  File photo:

  1. open Windows Explorer

  2. look in the folder list on the left side of the Windows Explorer window

  3. Locate the folder of photos

  Search:

  1. open Windows Explorer

  2. place your mouse cursor inside the Windows Explorer search box (upper right side of the Windows Explorer window), and then type the name of the file that you want to search

  3. Windows will now search for the file.

  4. once found, click on the file to open it.

  Go to page 17 and see «Settings printer advice»  If you read this article, it will tell you where to go in the printer driver to select "Print in grayscale" or "black ink only.

  No it will not work if you configure your new router in the 802.11n ONLY.  However, the router will have a configuration that includes 802.11 g.  It will look something like the 802.11 g/n in the router configuration.

  If you make this change, you need to load new software.  However, you will need to re - connect the printer to the new network, just as you want with your computers.
