I have a pavilion dv7 7000. I want to change my card to default chart to 630 m not intel nvidia graphics HD 4000.

    Hello

Go in the NVIDIA Control Panel, and then select manage 3D settings.  Now, click the global settings tab, and then select it Auto drop down. Now select processor High Performance NVIDIA.

The drawback with the above is that you will consume more energy and your system can run on battery as long. An Alternative is to select the program tab and then just add the program you want to run on the processor performance, NVIDIA.

IM considering changing my 960 GTX graphics card. He would hold in my office and it works with AMD A8-5500?

    Hello @zkdls94,

This one has a system recommended 300 w power.  You will not have to upgrade the power supply.  However, since it has the support of the bus PCI Express 3.0, you may still experience a lack of performance.  I can't recommend a diet.  If you choose to go with the first graphics card, you must upgrade the PSU to something that is at least 400 W.  I hope this helps.

  • Message "no Audio output device is installed" after changing graphics card

    Hello

Thanks in advance for your help. I have a desktop pavilion, model No. KZ754AA. I just got a new graphics card installed, and as has been done, the above message appears in my "speaker" icon. devices and when I click on playback devices are NVIDIA hdmi output, however, it is said also they are not connected but I know that the cable is properly connected. I used to have installed Realtek I think, but that has now disappeared. I tried d/l of HP drivers, but it still did not work. Help, please. Thank you

    Hello:

The solution is simple, but obscure.

So, I'm happy that you came here before making a lot of troubleshooting that most of us would try unless we knew that the answer is simple.

    Why it happened...

Your PC think you have installed not only a video card, but also a sound card, because it has built-in HDMI sound card.

Thus, he dutifully automatically disabled the integrated audio system as it disabled the embedded video.

Restart the computer and press the F10 key at the beginning of the HP welcome screen to access the BIOS.

Looking for an embedded audio setting normally in the device setup menu.

You will find it the value auto or off.

Change the setting to "Enabled". Save the setting it by hitting the F10 key and again when you go out to save settings and exit.

When you restart in Windows, you should now have your new built-in audio system and when you plug an HDMI cable from your video to your TV card, you should then get the HDMI audio.

  • Internet does not work after changing graphics card.

    Hello

I have a HP Pavilion HPE h8-1212 on windows 7 (64-bit) and I changed my graphics card for an AMD Radeon HD 7790 so like my case.

after reboot and installation of my graphic card drivers, I noticed that I have yet 2 "Bluetooth devices" (bluetooth device) and I don't have a Wifi connection. I am currently connected to my internet via an Ethernet cable.

Here are some screenshots of my problems:

    Please help me with this.

The wifi card, if it's a minimap, as it is in the image, should have had two sons goes to the card wifi which were channelled through the case.  These were responsible for picking up the wifi signals to work.  Since the screenshot shows the weak or no signal, I suspect this is the question.

As to describe the process of removing antennas, I couldn't find the following steps.

Before you start: Remove the access panel, the collar, the higher optical drive and the upper bezel.

    1. Detach the antennas wireless the wireless LAN card.

    2. Cut the cable tie fixing connectors antenna for the front i/o cable harness.

    3. Pull the antenna cables without wire through the access hole in the upper part of the unit.

    4. Pick up each cable hooks fixing the top of the page of the PC.

    5. Detach the screws for each antenna.

    6. Pull the antennas of the unit off.

In the end, it seems that the antennas are routed right under the top cover.

  • Stop changing graphics card, is - it possible?

    Heelo,

I just bought an Acer Aspire V3 - 772G - 747 has 161 .12TBDWarmm and it has an integrated GPU: dedicated Intel HD Gprahics 4600 and a GPU: GeForce GTX 760 m and I wanted to know if it is possible to stop the GPU switching. I also want to mention that I keep the laptop loaded for most, not on battery. I play a lot of games and most of them do not see the GeForce GPU in settings/settings.. .they see Intel one. I noticed that the monitor is connected to the Intel GPU.
[edited to conform to the guidelines]

    Best regards

    Bogdan

what the user above me suggested will work fine.

It will define the default graphics card nvidia processor, so if your laptop is not plugged, it evacuates the battery much faster. If you use your laptop on battery power a lot, I would say opening the nvidia Control Panel, by clicking the menu "desktop" at the top of the window and check the "add"run with GPU"menu tocontext' option."

You can then right click on a file executable games and select the graphics you want to use for this game.

in this way, you can choose to use your nvidia card only for games that require it and avoid draining your battery when you do not play.

If you have local storage, make sure not to format the existing VMFS partition.

I guess I can't blame them seeing as how HP income continues to fall.

This experience of tech support everything including the boards of MGS will certainly influence my future decision to buy another hp.
