  I recently installed the first Pro 2015 was last updated.

  After you fix the annoying reading / audio driver problem, I have an another slight annoyance that never occurred with the previous version.

  When I alt + tab or click on in a different window/browser and then back into Premiere Pro, there's a 3-4 second delay before that something be enabled in Premiere Pro.

  For example, I can be in first Pro do my thing when an e-mail arrives.  I alt + tab in Outlook, read the email, then alt + tab back into Premiere Pro.

  If immediately, I tap on the key play, or do something else, there is a 3-4 second delay before first Pro responds, after which it operates very well.

  This apparently tiny glitch is annoying when working between applications of CC and other general applications such as the media browser, e-mail, etc..

  PC is an i7 - 4770K @ 3.5, 32 GB RAM, GEFORCE GTX780Ti, Win 8.1 Pro

  Has anyone encountered this problem?

  Problem is now resolved to my end.   I just updated my audio driver for the motherboard ASUS Z87-Expert. (6.0.1.6853 to 6.0.1.7023)

  After restarting the computer and by opening the PP, it was immediately obvious that PP was responding faster...

  Before the dialog box of welcome/Intro lag a few seconds to the boot every time, whereas now the answer is very fast.

  Reading and response by shifting applications in PP is instant, just as it used to be.

  Jasonvp, what kind of work you're doing on this machine well spec'd of yours?

  Make some AE by using a codec that supports alpha channels.  I like Quicktime movies in the Animation or PNG codec for it.  RGB + Alpha, Millions of colors + and straight (i.e. NOT premultiplied).

  Use the rendering queue.  Do not export.

• Workflow trouble: switch to Media Encoder at the queue of Premiere Pro export

  I have a collaborative project where I have to edit and share short sequences of a larger project. Therefore, I do a lot of export and transcoding on the fly.

  My problem is that whenever I use Media | Export | Queue of Premiere Pro my Mac switches focus to Media Encoder. Since I have Media Encoder to transcode automatically I actually don't need to directly interact with it. I don't need to see. I just need to do his thing in the background so that I can continue working on my project.

  No one knows how to stop the switch of focus to Media Encoder?

  I know this isn't a bigger and a quick cmd + tab will switch me back, but still, it's annoying when I really just a background task.
