Warcraft (Battle Chest)

I bought warcraft (Battle Chest) and installed. When I go there to play, sometimes with fatal error cannot read the memory but in the same purchased identical pc time, same store, the game installs and works perfectly. Any ideas.
Thank you

Hello Myzticc,

Thank you for using the Microsoft Windows Vista Forums

This is a forum dedicated to Windows Vista, here are some steps that you can search.

1. try to launch Repair.exe WoW, it will find itself under this directory C:\ProgramFiles\WorldofWarcraft\
2. If it is impossible to find Repair.exe WoW, you can download it from this link.
http://FTP.Blizzard.com/pub/wow/other/repair.zip
3. try to run the Windows Memory Diagnostic to make sure that the RAM works

If still problem persists, check this forum & I am fairly positive so that you will get a solution.

Except by running Mac OS X Server 10.6 inside a product such as VirtualBox or Parallels Desktop or decommissioning the BONE if possible on the Mac, no.

  • I want to install Warcraft 3 on windows 7 ultimate 32 bit

last time I have installed before but nothing did not work properly

now, after a while I tried to install again, but now, they said that "Windows NT is NOT SUPPORTED for Warcraft III"

    so, what should I do?

Have you tried to install in compatibility mode? Open the CD by a right click on it and select Explorer, you'll see the files on this CD, look for the installation executable, right-click and select troubleshoot. Select the recommended settings. Make sure it installs with Windows XP Service Pack 3 compatibility.

Otherwise I would like to create a battle.net account and check that you have a copy of Warcraft III, which will allow you to download a copy of Warcraft III is fully up-to-date.

  • Warcraft III does not install on Windows 7 32 bit

I try to install Warcraft III, and whenever I try to start the installer, nothing happens. I tried to run in each mode of compatibility as administrator, and nothing happens.

I downloaded Virtual PC and XP Mode for it and tried to install it on that, and I get the error "The Application could not initialize properly (0xc0000005)" when I try to run the installer. I have to click OK twice until the message disappears.

    Any ideas at all?

    Hello Ligress.

I only came across problems using Warcraft 3 on 64-bit.  However, I use the downloadable version, not the version out of the original disc.  If you have a Battle.net account, you can enter your Warcraft 3 CD key and you will be able to download it directly from Blizzard.  It may contain a newer version of the installer that works.

It won't work on a virtual PC because it requires 3D hardware acceleration. Paul Smith - MVP for Windows desktop experience... I crawled off NNTP - for now. Detachment Aldershot, United Kingdom. 1 have you ever done any recent hardware or exchange of software on your computer before the show?

  • Computer crashing when World of Warcraft

The question that I have is a complete system failure. Problem may occur after a few minutes of play for hours of play. It usually causes a glitch right brief rehearsal sound when it starts. If I can the ctrl + alt + delete in a few seconds, I can normally return to the office safely, otherwise it requires a full restart of the PC. When I am able to get into the Task Manager, it will show as WoW does not not and won't react to open windows. Only method to get the system under control is to right-click on wow on the taskbar and close manually.

    Items tried:
    (1) removal of driver and reinstall (video)
    2) reinstall of DX11
    (3) removal of the WTF, Interface and Cache folders
    (4) minimizing video game record
    underclocking 5)
heat 6) online test with download free (coretemp) current 32 C max 35 ° C
    (7) uninstall and reinstall wow
    (8) power cycling completed (router, adapter, etc.)
    9) updated drivers for the NETGEAR
    (10) turned off the coast of security during the attempt to play
    (11) ran sfc/scannow
    (12) DxDiag obtained (at the bottom)
MSInfo got 13) (see info below)

I got my start and settings in the original game, they do not appear to changes and updating my drivers for wireless cards. Blizzard keeps mentioning that there is an error LiveKernelEvent that is popping up and I need to find a repair through Microsoft.  I find one of these files and also added to the low lol.

  • Windows 7 bugs me in the office all the 1 minute when I play warcraft 3 frozen throne.does - does anyone know a solution?

Windows 7 puts me on the desk when I play Warcraft 3 frozen all throne 1 minute. I opened the game and after a minute my pc drops me an office then I re-opened the game window and I have a minute left to play before drop me it on the desktop again... Why is - this happening.i played throne frozen in windows xp and had no problems. Troubleshooting of Windows has detected the incompatible application. what it means? What can I do in the future?

While the error message mentions compatibility, I think as long as the game installs and works, even if for only a minute, it is basically compatible.
-Have you tried using the compatibility mode for XP sp2 (better yet - install using compatibility mode)?
-It can also be a problem with the AERO if use you it. If you do, try the compatibility option - "disable visual themes".
-You can also try to 'Disable Desktop Composition' (not sure, but maybe only if you are using a dedicated graphics card, she can not help with integrated graphics card).
-While you tick "run as administrator..." just for luck.

    -You have patched the game?

  • Commandos battle pack

I bought Commandos: battle pack (which has 2 and 3 commandos) on the DVD for my Mac.  But when the disc starts there is a 'go' circle on the Commanods 2 and Commandos 3 install buttons.  The explanation is that Power PC is not configured to install this application.  Has anyone else seen this and can I do?   DonB

Snow Leopard was the latest OSX version that supported (via Rosetta) on Mac with Intel processor applications written for the Power PC processor.

Upgrading to 10.7 and don't forget Rosetta!

  • Can I pair headset Bluetooth and a chest strap heart rate monitor Bluetooth at the same time with the Apple Watch 2 series

Does anyone know if you can pair Bluetooth headset at the same time and heart rate monitor strap chest Bluetooth with the Apple Watch series 2? I can't find any info about it online. I hope so, because they have everything works without your phone now since it has GPS. Obviously a chest strap heart rate monitor gives you a more accurate reading. And who is running without music? If they want to really all the new capabilities of fitness improved series 2, that this is a must!

The original WATCH allows you to do this, so I don't see why the series 2 would not.

  • Is it smart to play games like World of Warcraft on a macbook pro 13'

    Hello

I'm new to this forum, because I just bought a Macbook Pro 13' of 2015. I used to play games on a computer with windows laptop, but I bought a Macbook Pro for my work and study. I want to play games, but only if its not harmful for my Macbook. I tried to play WoW and he did work properly but the thing is that the fans inside the macbook has started to blow very hard. And the macbook started to warm up, I don't really know if it's a good thing...

The question is: is it smart to play games like World of Warcraft on macbook pro 13' (2015)

I really hope that there is someone in the same situation as me, and he can tell me his opinion on this subject.

Play with the airy machine on a clean surface to allow better air circulation.

  • Satellite P70-A01C in World of Warcraft frame rate is LOW

Bought this laptop a few months as a game machine.

Said he would go to more recent games with little drama, but I have problems with World of Warcraft. Even with a quad core processor, 16 GB of RAM and a 4 GB graphics card I sometimes 9-12 fps.

This is usually when there is a lot of things, like during a raid, but, nevertheless, with these specs this computer must be able to manage. Normally I get around 80-90fps and I get similar on my desktop PC (quad core, 8 GB RAM, 2 GB graphics card).

Suggestions as to how I might solve this problem?
I always have the latest NVIDIA drivers installed and keep all the rest as well up-to-date.
I wonder if I missed something!

    Thank you.

    + * Graphic * nVIDIA GeForce GT M 745 4 GB with Optimus and Intel® HD 4600 graphics card +.

NVidia Optimus technology passes between the external graphics chip (nVidia) and including graphic internal to the CPU (Intel® HD Graphics 4600) in order to save power.

In my opinion the slow pace could be related to the graphics chip that is used by this game. Maybe the game uses the graphics card Intel HD instead of GPU nVidia?

    RAM: 4 GB
    Video: Nvidia Quadro NVS 110M
OS: Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit (on the highest performance with all the eye candy settings disabled)

The phone plays very well, but when I try to play world of Warcraft I encounter problems in the screenshots below

I tried playing with the drivers on the Toshiba site (dating back to 2007) and I also tried the latest version of the driver directly from nVidia but no change in performance

Running the game in opengl mode makes things worse.
Sometimes, glitches video will change the above to the following

In the world of Warcraft Support Forum I was told to contact the manufacturer of the video card may be defective.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hello!

It seems that your graphics card is broken...
You have this problem on other games also or only with World of Warcraft?

But it could also be an overheating problem. Have you tried to clean the laptop using a jet of compressed air? This could blow out the dust from the cooling fans.

In the worst cases, you should contact an ASP. Technicians can check your laptop and share the graphics card if it of necessary.

    Good bye

  • Tecra M5 - shortcut to my chest is no longer works

    Hello

My old faithful M5 was running a bit slow so I checked on the Toshiba website for any update (software) I have not found an upgrade for the my feature safe and decided to install it...

Oops now my original shortcut to my chest no longer works and I can not find where the updated version so I can create a shortcut.

For any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

    See you soon
    John

    Hello

The shortcut does not work because the path to the exe file has been changed due to the update process.
I recommend you delete the old shortcut and then to create a new.

On the desktop, right-click and choose New-> shortcut.
Here, you point to the exe (program) file that you have updated.
I guess that you have updated something like password utility or security assist
