Warranty start date

Best buy sell a laptop, three months after its release. Client laptop boots on the purchase date and to find three months of the year a standard guarantee is already past. I suggest that this violates fair trade standards, as all the machines sold in retail stores are recommended as with a guarantee of 12 months. I'm also surprised that this guarantee does not allow the customer to call or email technical support, leaving them the choice if it sucks and see, take it to Best Buy and pay a "geek" of $150 to suck their teeth and say "he should be returned to the manufacturer" or post on the forum.

Warranty begins from date to date to the notebook is purchased by the final user in box not sealed this date, the retail store ordered the laptop.

Limited in effect translates into no guarantee at all.

I've used Dells since 1995, I'm shocked that this company starts more guaranteed from the date of purchase (i.e. first start)

Hi Richie,

My apologies for an unpleasant experience. If the system is purchased from the dealer, the limited warranty on Dell hardware would be active from the date of purchase of the computer. If you are in the United States, the system comes with an a (default) year limited material warranty.

You can private message me the following information by private message (click on my user name and then click on start Conversation):

  1. Serial number of the computer
  2. Date of purchase
  3. Country of purchase
  4. Full address, city, State and zip code
  5. Phone number and telephone number of substitution.

Once I have the details, I would be able to decide the next course of action.

@ DFO: thank you for the assistance to the customer.

  • Warranty start date shows two and a half months too early

    HP Jet 7 Tablet - 5709. Tablet received 24/01/15 and I signed it that day. When I go to my page to check the warranty and enter my serial number, it indicates the date of start of guarantee a November 5, 2014.  When I wrote to HP Support, my answer States (case: edited by moderator): "Support case manager is not available at this time for HP Stream 5709 7 Tablet."

    I'm confused.  All I want is the correct date for my tablet. Who should I contact to get this resolved?  Thank you

    my billing date is 07/01/2015 but HP support assistant, it is watch 12/26/2014. I need help.

    Hello:

    Call HP for the country lives, and they will send you a Web link or by e-mail to download you or attach a copy of your invoice/receipt showing the date of purchase.

    Then they will be adjusted accordingly to the guarantee period.

    I had to do the same thing and it took about 3 days for them correct the warranty period.

    I would, if the package has not been opened.  While the cartridges will probably still be OK they would not any guarantee of HP, so if he had any questions that they would be not covered.

    As the new year begins, I notice that if I try to do a 'show log beginning December 28 00:00:00 ' to get all the logs that surrounds an event of last week, I get no results. Most likely because the router's view I want newspapers beginning December 28, 2016, who has not yet arrived.  This command must be modified to use the * last * appearance of the starting date, not the date of beginning of this calendar year.

    I'm trying to get a date range or have the identified dates for the first harvest of the end date and then have hours max per each day added up to at least 15 hours and find the total production to examine these days that are.

    So, if I choose the end date of April 25, 15 ', then I identified the maximum working hours at the facility. So because no work was allocated to the 25 for installation 1, 24 is the actual start date, in a plant worker 2 3 had 6 hours work, if installation date of end is the 25 hours max of 6. Noticed that the installation has 24, 23 and 22 total hours bing 17 (always meets the requirements of 15 hours), while the installation of 2 has 18 hours 25, 24, 23 (requirement for hours 15 min)

    This is the prison of result data group.

    Select 4 maxhours, 24 April 15 ' work date, 1 installation, 15 totalproduction of all the double union

    so, how would I go about konwing when start work Date date has been reached because the total number of hours has been reached or excited the limit.

    All thoughts.

    With the help of everyone, thank you,

    It's the rough solution I was looking for, could probably be cleaner.

    I apologize for the confusion.

    so, for April 27, the total production for that day for installation 1 is 50 units and 8 hours max.

    and if the end date is sent to the 24

    April 22 is the total output of 32 units and hours max of 6 for this day.

  • Start date of change for the employee

    I have an employee whose departure date was entered incorrectly. The system will not start date change which indicates that allocation changes exist between the old and the new dates.

    This is what the data looks like:

    Employee has been shown as hired August 1, 2014.

    An assignment was made for 1 - August to August 2, 2014.

    A second tour there on 3 August 2014 and the end date is 31-Dec-4712

    The start date must be changed in August 16, 2014.

    Two assignments seem to be a data entry error.

    Is there a way to accomplish this change? Since the two assignments are in error, there is not need to exist.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Datetrack on August 1, 2014 and go to the screen for the assignment. Use the remove menu icon and a popup asking if you want to delete all future changes...

    Once you remove the future recordings, you will have a unique assignment record.

    Navigate to the file and replace the most recent start date August 16, 2014.

    Hope that helps.

    Subscribe when you are ready to use it.

    Not the start date is not reset. The payment date remains the same, the amount of charge are adjusted accordingly.

  • Determine if the end date is after the start date

    I have 2 date fields in a form.  When I click the button submit, that I'm trying to ensure that the end date is after the start date.

    Here is the code I use:

    var sDate = Date.parse (BackgroundInformation.Background.CheckingDateStart.rawValue);

    var eDate = Date.parse (BackgroundInformation.Background.CheckingDateEnd.rawValue);

    xfa.host.messageBox ("Start Date:"+ BackgroundInformation.Background.CheckingDateStart.rawValue ");

    xfa.host.messageBox ("eDate: sDate" + eDate + ":" + sDate);

    if(sDate > eDate)

    {
    valid = false;
    fieldName += "Start Date is greater than the end Date."
    }

    The message box displays the start date 2014-10-30 but sDate is Nan.

    I tried:

    var eDate = new Date (BackgroundInformation.Background.CheckingDateEnd.rawValue);

    sDate var = new Date (BackgroundInformation.Background.CheckingDateStart.rawValue);

    and when I display sDate says 'Invalid Date '.

    Any ideas?

    It should work...

    var sDate = BackgroundInformation.Background.CheckingDateStart.value.date.value;

    var eDate = BackgroundInformation.Background.CheckingDateEnd.value.date.value;

  • Include the expected start Date and end Date for the management of SSHRC-Absence

    Is it possible to include the scheduled Start Date and end Date of project to SSHRC, management of absences with the type of leave is confirmed?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

    In this case, you should disable the option the absence request, so that by default all sheets are confirmed and the user do not have to apply once leave as planned and then comply.

    You can see the id metalink - "How do I disable the State of Absence of R12 Absence Management Page [ID 786691.1]" to understand how to disable "Planned" option to request authorization for simple customization.

    It will be useful.

  • How to get the ISO week number week start date

    Hello

    I have a table with the following structure
    Year    error    Week1     week2   week3 ......week53
    2012       error1     2           4         2             1
    2012       error2    3          0        1                 1
    I was hoping to get something like select year, error, week 1 | "Start date of the week which is a Monday of this week" ", semaine2:" " Earlier this week, Monday again ",... table week53"

    Any suggestions please?

    Thank you
    Sun

    Hi, the Sun,

    To see what a week N started, add 7 * (N - 1) days of the beginning of the year. (By definition, the beginning of the ISO year is the beginning of week 1 of the ISO year.)

    To see when the week started 22 of the current year:

    SELECT  TRUNC (SYSDATE, 'IYYY') + (7 * (22 - 1))
    FROM    dual
    ;

    I hope that answers your question.
    If not, post a small example of data (CREATE TABLE and only relevant columns, INSERT statements) for all of the tables involved and the results desired from these data.
    Explain, using specific examples, how you get these results from these data.
    Always tell what version of Oracle you are using.

    By default political access does not work for the user whose start date is later in OIM 11 g. I have an access policy that the provisions of all users of Xellerate OID. This policy is not work for users who start date is later, i.e. status = disabled until the start date.

    No workaround to make the strategy work is much appreciated.

    Thank you

    up to 10g it work very well if you put provisining date as the current date. But, you cannot apply even in oim 11g

    Try below

    Add new udf to the user profile
    reconcile the start date in the new udf and leave the start of oim null date
    In this case the access policy will be triggers and you will be able to get an account created to the OID, and then set the start workflow OID IOM

    for reminder and all just to add trigger for the new udf and update on the changes.

    Note: In your case as OID in disable State it will cause no problem after the user status "disable up to that Start Date. If the resource object in activate State and change you the status to disable up to that starting date, it does not fire disable the user trigger.
