Access policy for the user whose status is "disabled until the start date.
HelloBy default political access does not work for the user whose start date is later in OIM 11 g. I have an access policy that the provisions of all users of Xellerate OID. This policy is not work for users who start date is later, i.e. status = disabled until the start date.
No workaround to make the strategy work is much appreciated.
Thank you
GYAN
up to 10g it work very well if you put provisining date as the current date. But, you cannot apply even in oim 11g
Try below
Add new udf to the user profile
reconcile the start date in the new udf and leave the start of oim null date
In this case the access policy will be triggers and you will be able to get an account created to the OID, and then set the start workflow OID IOM
for reminder and all just to add trigger for the new udf and update on the changes.
Note: In your case as OID in disable State it will cause no problem after the user status "disable up to that Start Date. If the resource object in activate State and change you the status to disable up to that starting date, it does not fire disable the user trigger.
Kind regards

I'm creating an application that uses the authentication of the APEX and characteristics (work) registration and forgot password forms (does not work).
My I forgot the password is public (requires authentication). The user provides the user name and a secret answer, which are validated and then provides the new password. I try to use htmldb_util.reset_pw to reset the password of the user, but it does not work.
I have a process on the new password page call a PL/SQL anonymous block that looks like this (see below), where username = P16_ITEM1 and P18_ITEM1 = new password.
BEGIN
apex_040000.htmldb_util.reset_pw (V ('P16_ITEM1'), V ('P18_ITEM1'));

When executing code outside the Apex which depends on the security defined Apex group, perform the following steps before your own code:
wwv_flow_api.set_security_group_id(apex_util.find_security_group_id('YOUR_SCHEMA_NAME'));

CREATED_ON DATE Partha thanks it works now.
Select ta_acct, shift, created_on in track_alerts where to move is: Shift and TRUNC (created_on) = TO_DATE('24-MAR-2014','DD-MON-YYYY');
Still, I made a small change to my querry.
Select ta_acct, shift, created_on track_alerts where to move is: shft and TRUNC (created_on) = TO_DATE (select double sysdate,'MON-DD-YYYY "");
For this statement, it does not work.
of course not...
first: sysdate returns a date so no need of conversion here
and
second SYSDATE includes time, so your application should look like this:
Select ta_acct, shift, created_on in track_alerts where to move is: Shift and TRUNC (created_on) = trunc (sysdate)
or
Select ta_acct, shift, created_on in track_alerts where to move is: shft and created_on > = trunc (sysdate) and created_on<>

First, I created the cluster, no problem with that, so the DRS storage was created and now I can see in the Summary tab

I search the Web and there are similar problems when people has only a single data store (the one that came with ESXi) and need to add another but in my case... vcenter detects any...
In the views of storage I see the store of data (VMFS) but for some strange reason the cluster not
In order to achieve data warehouses minimum (2) can I create an NFS and map it in THE 3 esxi hosts? Vcenter which consider a play config?
Thank you
You probably only have local data warehouses, which are not that HA would require for this feature (pulsations datastore) to work properly.
You will need either 2 iSCSI, FC 2 or 2 NFS volumes... Or a combination of the any of them, for this feature to work. If you don't want to use this feature, you can also turn it off:

Recommended value for the BAM data expiration time
Hello
Can someone tell me what is the recommended value for the BAM data expiration time?
Enterprise Server default is 24 hours, but I would like to be able to raise the average runtime instance after several months. Is it reasonable to the value of the time-out value a high value? Or it will have an impact on the performance of BPM/BAM?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards
CANormally, we keep the BAM data expiration time at halfway with 24 to 72 hours. For historical reports that you are looking for the Data Mart / Data Warehouse DB are more logical. This database stores the data forever and takes pictures at longer intervals, normally 24 hours. These data are not in time real normally then because a capture instant is only taken once per day but will give you historical reports that you are looking for. The data from this database structure is almost identical to the BAM DB.

Not able to start agent cache for the requested data store
Hello

TimesTen Release 11.2.1.4.0
Trying to create a simple cache.
The DSN entry section for ttdemo1 to. odbc.ini is as follows:

without doubt, it does the same thing trying to find the libttco.so?
23302 open ("/ home/oracle/TimesTen/11.2.1.4.0/TimesTen/ttimdb1/ttoracle_home/instantclient_11_1/libttco.so", O_RDONLY) =-1 ENOENT (no such file or directory)
Thank you for taking the trace. I really want to have a look at the complete file if you can send it to me?

Request for the old data that does not correspond to new data within a given period
Hi all
The reports that I need to create one for all employees who were going from one Department to another within a given period. The way I ran this report in Reportsmith (taken from our old system) was to compare the dept field from the start date to the dept in the end date field and it gives me these associate who had moved. I had to do it this way b/c dept changes can occur using several different types of actions (change to Surv, promotion, etc.), none of them exclusive to only change dept. We now use Oracle HRMS and I need to create this report even with this system using SQL.
Does anyone know how to compare the data between two different dates and shoot those who do not match? Your help will be GREATLY appreciated!
Best regards,
Yasmin E. Alberto
HRIS analyst
[email protected]Hello
Here is an example of an INSERT statement that may be relevant to this issue:
INSERT INTO emp_action (empno, action_date, deptno) VALUES (7902, TO_DATE ('2009-06-18, 'YYYY-MM-DD'), 10);
If someone wants to help you, in doing anything more than guess, then that person probably will need create tables that are similar to yours (but much smaller).
To do this, they can issue instructions CREATE TABLE to the tables, the INSERT commands to fill (put data in) the tables.
The tables invloved in this problem are probably simple, so if I can see some INSERT statements, I can probably write instructions CREATE TABLE myself and save you the trouble.For more info on INSERT, see the [Manual of the SQL language | http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B28359_01/server.111/b28286/statements_9014.htm#sthref8944]
If you compare the deptno to a row of a table to the previous line, you can use the analytic LAG, something like this:
WITH got_prev_deptno AS ( SELECT empno , action_date , deptno , LAG (deptno) OVER ( PARTITION BY empno ORDER BY action_date ) AS prev_deptno FROM action_table ) SELECT * FROM got_prev_deptno WHERE deptno != prev_deptno AND action_date >= TO_DATE ('2009-01-0'1, 'YYYY-MM-DD') AND action_date < TO_DATE ('2009-03-01', 'YYYY-MM-DD') ;
Like all functions, the OFFSET is described in the [Manual of the SQL language | http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B28359_01/server.111/b28286/index.htm#I].

The autodeploiement based on the Start Date
Hello world
I have a requirement that I take a stream of HR (GTC FF) and this user from IOM and AD based on the start date of the provision. Without taking into account the start date, I can do it by assigning a role that contains an access strategy for AD. Under certain conditions, I attribute this role based on an attribute in the HR feed with a ruler, I defined.
then how I also factor in the start date in the rule I created which determines if the role must be assigned. It does not resemble the rule designer can handle anything, except for string literals. If I can account for the date, I could probably use a scheduled task to later assign roles to users based on their start date. so in this process I assign the role if the two attribute condition and departure date are met.
I could take a different approach and say I'm not going to assign the role to all through the accession of any rule and just manipulate through scheduled tasks. I'm not sure I like this approach, but if that's the solution preferred, please let me know.
Thank youI suggest the route of the scheduled task. Recon in your current values, including the start date. Create an another UDF which is a checkbox, or a few true/false, yes/no field type. In your scheduled task, find users who have a start date< current="" time="" and="" then="" mark="" the="" udf="" as="" the="" true/yes/checked="" value.="" in="" your="" group="" membership="" rule="" for="" ad="" provisioning,="" add="" a="" rule="" that="" checks="" for="" this="" field.="" this="" will="" then="" trigger="" the="" access="" policy="" to="" apply.="" i="" have="" used="" this="" technique="" before="" and="" it="" works="" very="" well="" to="" turn="" a="" field="" that="" you="" can't="" have="" a="" group="" membership="" rule="" on="" turned="" into="" a="" field="" that="" can="" have="" a="" rule="">
