• I have a ton of cookie exceptions, and sometimes I need to change one of "blocked" to "allow". Is there a way to 'search' to this file?

  Paging through all the exceptions of cookie, to find the one that is causing me not not be able to access a site is becoming impossible. For example, I want to use the ESPN fantasy football site, but at some point, I have decided to 'block' one of the many cookies they wanted to define. Now, I can't get into the site, and I have no chance of finding the offending cookie. Is there a way to search for this file exceptions (or permissions) so I can find the cookie faster?

  It might be easier to use the subject: permissions page?

  In a new tab, type or paste Subject: authorizations in the address bar and press ENTER. Controls showing your default settings will be displayed first and it will take probably several seconds to load the sites. You can use the above the left column search box to find the site you want to adjust.

  I'm new to this forum so please excuse my ignorance.  I scoured the web page a way to search discussions but can't seem to find anything.  Of course, I don't want to go through 12K of discussions and would not ask a question that has already been answered to a dozen times.

• Is there a way to search for a specific value of margin (or margins wo a specific value)?

  In a body of book, I fixed the installer of margins. On some pages, I replaced the bottom for design margin. In reviewing the book, I found a few pages where I accidentally changed the inside or the outside margin.

  Say my inner margin est.75 po. Is there a way to search and find all the pages with a padding pas.75 margin or if not all inside margins less de.75, upper to, etc.?

  Any ideas would be welcome.

• Easy way to search by date in Vista?

  Just updated from XP to Vista & cannot figure out how to find my documents by date.  I liked the search function on XP that would allow you to search by date, for example, created during the month, week, year, etc.  Is there an easy way to do this in Vista?  The instructions in the help of Vista are difficult to follow.  Help!

  Start typing a file name, and then click search everywhere which appears just above the area.  Will take you to the advanced search box.  Delete what you have entered to access the advanced search box and click search.  You will see a section for the date.  Enter the date you want, whether you want files on, before or after this date and if you want date of creation or modified date and click search.  Search will find the files you want.  Don't forget to select the basis of appropriate research (only the indexed locations or drive c:\ or something else) and whether or not you want to not indexed, hidden and system files included.

• What is a * successful * way to search for files containing a specific word that is not the file name?

  I've seen several threads on forum Windows 7, but no successful response.  I desperately need to find documents that contain a certain word * in * the file is not part of the file name.  It was easy under Windows XP, but it seems that they removed this feature in Windows 7, and it's really causing me problems.

  So let's say the word is 'author '... I need to find all files that contain this word, even if "author" is not in the name of the file.  I've seen different "fixes" posted by MS Tech support, but none of them work.  I tried "contains:", search filters, checking the box "always search file names and content" and nothing works, even if I saved at least a dozen documents that contain that Word.  And no, I'm not he shell.  I checked and I found at least one of them just by hunting around.  I also tried the uppercase and lowercase without result.  I would like to avoid having to download the 3rd party software.

  Please help, there must be a way!

  Yes, you have to hit every instance, but it will be click-to-continue except incompatibility.

• How can I get rid of ZoneAlarm engine of search in the address bar and of the way page search box?

  I downloaded ZoneAlarm firewall. There you install Chrome and choose its search engine when you download. I had heard that it was removed easily later. I have reset Google in the search bar upper at right.

  You can check if you have the search engine of ZoneAlarm file in the browser\searchplugins folder in the Firefox program or in the searchplugins folder in the Firefox profile folder.

  You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder currently in use:

  You can delete the search.json file and the possible search - metadata.json and the search.sqlite files in the profile folder of Firefox to reset the default search engines.

  Our company just bought and has implemented a Synology NAS 2 weeks and we are able to store files and access without any problem. We have also a few Mac saved to it with Time Machine and it works FINE! One of our iMac on 10.6 can find the SIN as it is another normal computer but on my iMac and another on 10.10, no results appear. I tried to re - indexing the shared folder and the car according to the instructions from Apple (Spotlight: how to re - index folders or volumes - Apple Support) but it doesn't seem to work. I also tried which allows indexing with terminal (https://jonathansblog.co.uk/how-to-enable-spotlight-indexing-on-a-network-drive) and it does not work either. Is there another setting that I need to activate or option I have to check? Thanks for any help!

  Not that I know of. Basically, you need iterate over all the words in all the pages in the file, the search matches to your search strings.

  When you find a match, you need to decide what part of it to redact then create annotations of writing using the coordinates (quads) of these words.

  you could ssh in the existing vMA and type "hostname" turns. But I guess you're not a linux guy?

  So you can connect to vCenter with the vSphere Client, go to the overview of the vMA existing tab and look at the DNS name that is mentioned there. This is the host name.

  We use AutoVue through our own integration VueLink (ISDK) and it works well with our PLM system.

  We would now automatically add sensitive links on text and save it as markup.

  I played with AutoVue Web Services and tried the GetText() method. It properly returns me all of the text found in the document, but without any indication of position or coordinate.

  What we would like to do is to generate a hyperlink on some types of text (which is codified in some way) and save it in a file of markup. But I don't see how to do it without any element of coordination.

  Is it possible using ISDK, AutoVueWS, VueBean, or any API that would help me to do this?
