We cannot pull a script using the grid control?

Hi all
II need a script for the table and the indexex which is present in the database.
Is it possible to remove a script for this purpose in gridcontrol?

Thank you

In the console...

1. go on the homepage of the database
2. in the tab "schema".
3. on the link of the table or index
4. connect to the database
5. Select the schema
6. Select the table or index
7. in the drop action, select 'generate the ddl' and click 'go '.

Best regards
Robert

    Hello

I had an obligation to schedule tasks for export in Oracle Grid Control 10.2.0.5 (Windows). Is this possible and have each done this? If so, please share the steps. The idea is to receive alerts when a job fails.

Here are the easy steps (there could be some slight differences as I'm posting screen of 11 g-based)

    1. the grid control console, click on the relevant database

    2. click on the tab "Data Movement.

    3. click on "export to export the files.

4A chose the export type (Database / Schema / table / Tablespace)

    5. provide credentials to the host (OS user name and password) and click on "continue". You will get a new screen called ' export: Options

    6. click on the box called 'Generate a log file', and then select the directory object where you want to create the dump files. (You must create a database directory object, if you do not)

    7. choose the option that you required the content, then click on ' * following *'. You will get a page called ' export: files

    8. Select the directory object in the drop-down list and provide a name of filename format and click on "next".

    9. here provide you the job name and description, and chose repeat options (daily, weekly, etc.) and click "next".

    10. you will get a summary screen called ' export: Annex "." Review the details of your job and click 'submit '.

It's the solution, and it works well.

  • Using the Grid control with the ALLOWED_LOGON_VERSION parameter

    Hello

We use a 10.2.0.4 database and a 10.1.2.3.0 grid control (with its own 10.2.0.4 database) and WHO and the database are patched up to April 2010 CPU. We tried setting the SQLNET. ALLOWED_LOGON_VERSION = 10 in the SQLNET.ora of the database, but it seems as if the control grid or the agent cannot connect to the database. This is the error that we received from the grid if the parameter is active.
ORA-28040: no authentication protocol matching (DBD ERROR: OCISessionBegin).

I found no information on activate or not the ALLOWED_LOGON_VERSION if a grid control is followed by a database.

    Someone had this problem before?

    Thank you
    Francis

    Francis,
I googled on "SQLNET. ALLOWED_LOGON_VERSION = 10 ". This leads me to SQLNET. ALLOWED_LOGON_VERSION here is a description of the bug 6051243. Seaching on My Oracle support for this bug led me to the notes 466939. Looks like you're running in this bug.

  • the stream using the grid 10.2 control configuration

can configure us the flow through the grid control 10.2? Please let me know the step by step workflow configuration.

    Thank you.

Grid control has a wizard that allows you to configure the table, a schema or database replication complete. You can use the wizard to generate a script for the configuration, ask well. There are some resources available online covering the wizard of replication and monitoring of streams in general with EM.

For example, there is an annotated presentation (Grid Control 10.2.0.5: workflow management) which describes the pages EM streams and how to use them. Link: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e10703/tdpii_repcont.htm

There is also an Oracle by example (OBE) demonstrating 11.2 management DBControl Brooks walking through the wizard configuration and replication and monitoring. Link: http://http//www.oracle.com/technology/obe/demos/11gr2/streams11_2/streams_and_em/streams_and_em_viewlet_swf.html

11.2 2 Day + data replication and integration book (Chapter 4) also includes a tour through the pages of stream DBControl 11.2. Link: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e10703/tdpii_repcont.htm#BABEFAFI

  • I just bought a 6 d. is it possible to use the grid in other than the auto mode?

I just buy a 6 d.  Is it possible to use the grid in other than the auto mode?  Also, is there a way to use the self-timer in other than the auto mode?

Thank you very much. I look forward to your comments.

I have to assume that your camera came with a manual you need to rely on. In my manual for my 7 d Mark 2 the index near the end of the manual lists the applicapable pages for whatever this is relating to the use or other people. Grid is under G, Self Timer is under S and called "self-timer."

If you use a computer based pdf to see the info it will probably be several pages listed, but you can click on a page number to get to it rather than scroll to it.

  • SDO_NN cannot be assessed without using the index when put inside subquery

    Hi all

I met a problem when you use the function sdo_nn to find the nearest neighbor. Here is my scenario:

_ I have 2 customer and store tables.

    Customer table _ a client_ID and a 2D sdo_geom point

    _ Store table has store_ID and a 2D polygon sdo_geom.

In the beginning, I have this query to find the nearest store to each customer as below:

    Select s.STORE_ID, c.CLIENT_ID

    store customer, s c

    where sdo_nn (s.MYPOLYGON, c.MYPOINT, 'sdo_num_res = 1', 1) = "TRUE";

_It works as expected when it returns a table showing the nearest store each customer.

_Now I want to count the number of customers who have the same nearest store:

    Select / * + INDEX (store store_spatial_idx, client_spatial_idx client) * / count (nearest_store. CLIENT_ID)
    from (select s.STORE_ID, c.CLIENT_ID
    store customer, s c
    where sdo_nn (s.MYPOLYGON, c.MYPOINT, 'sdo_num_res = 1', 1) = "TRUE") nearest_store
    Group of nearest_store. STORE_ID;

This query generates the following error:

I'm pretty new to spatial databases and hope get help to go further. Thank you in advance!

    Hello Pinball,

Oracle space tends to be a quite complex with many variables and moving parts.  We chatted about the group to a sort of FAQ or guidelines to help people like you submit questions that actually answers.  First of all, you really have to tell us the version of Oracle you are using.  Particularly the problems involving the optimizer, version down to the exact defined patch number is a good idea.  Secondly, you took the time to submit the question so I guess you want a response.  If you really want to see the answer and then providing an example is one of the most important things that you can do.  I'm going to do here for you, but in general people on this forum come and go and are often pushed into lurkitude, so if you want the coax to provide you with an example of work is the key.

So I wrote this about 12 c (12.1.0.2.0) and everything works fine for me.  Then I moved back from 11 GR 2 (11.2.0.4.0) and of course, there are questions.  So I guess that you don't use flavor of 11g.  So at this point we can look at the docs and see for 11g, have you often need to specify which table is the head and that is the one that has the spatial index to use.
    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E11882_01/AppDev.112/e11830/sdo_operat.htm#SPATL1032

Its rather interesting that the optimizer of 12 c knows what you want, when I had to squint myself at your request and to play a little with the refining.  Note that SDO_NN is sensitive, because the geometry of the main table should come second in the operator.  I did not know that on the top of my head.

    SELECT
    /*+ LEADING(c) INDEX(s store1_spx)  */
     s.store_id
    ,c.client_id
    ,MDSYS.SDO_NN_DISTANCE(1)
    FROM
     store1 s
    ,client2 c
    WHERE
    MDSYS.SDO_NN(
        s.shape
       ,c.shape
       ,'sdo_num_res=1'
       ,1
    ) = 'TRUE';

    SELECT
     ns.store_id
    ,COUNT(ns.client_id)
    FROM (
       SELECT
       /*+ LEADING(c) INDEX(s store1_spx)  */
        s.store_id
       ,c.client_id
       ,MDSYS.SDO_NN_DISTANCE(1)
       FROM
        store1 s
       ,client2 c
       WHERE
       MDSYS.SDO_NN(
           s.shape
          ,c.shape
          ,'sdo_num_res=1'
          ,1
       ) = 'TRUE'
    ) ns
    GROUP BY
    ns.store_id
    ORDER BY
    ns.store_id;

So I think that is your answer.  Give it a shot and see if this fits the Bill.  Of course, moving to 12 c would be useful for such things.  It would be interesting to collect more examples of this kind of space thing where 12 c is the answer. Also, would be nice if we could mark somehow this discussion as applying only to 11g and earlier versions.

    See you soon,.

  • Using the grid

    Hey!

I'll convert my Web site comp in edge of reflow.

I am not a expert in web development at all, so please excuse my questions.

I'm just that the following actions are just the design decisions?

-using 100% resolution of 1280px as a grid

-using only 8 instead of 10 columns inside

-using the gutters outside just for a little extra space

Or is there something I need to consider when using the grid for web development?

Here's a screenshot of my comp as in Ps, I did:

(grid width 1280px, 10 columns, gutters, external gutters 20px 10px)

    Bildschirmfoto+2013-07-31+um+19.14.12.png

I would be very happy if you could help me!

Thank you very much for your help!

    Hi Thorbman-

The grid is just a tool to help you prepare your page. You can ignore it completely, putting things in each column, or just a few columns, etc.

    OMBCONNECT $UserLogin/$UserPassword@$DBHostName:$DBHostPort:$ServiceName USE REPOSITORY '$RepositoryUser' USE MULTIPLE_USER_MODE

Replace the parameters $ with your own value.

And then your script, you can disconnect:

    OMBDISCONNECT

  • SDO_NN cannot be assessed without using the index

    Hello
I'll try to find more close neighbours of a point using two tables (grafo_ped_links & haltestellen) and I fail miserably quiet.

    Select h.desc_i, grafo_ped_links h.numpal g, haltestellen h where (g.geometry, h.geometry) sdo_nn = 'true' and g.start_node_id = 355 and rownum < = 5

ORA-06512: at the 'MDSYS. MDERR", line 17
    ORA-06512: at the 'MDSYS. PRVT_IDX', line 49

But I am able to find the nearest neighbor on individual tables (singularly) without any problem. I'm even able to find a WITHIN_DISTANCE using two tables (below the sql statement).

    Select h.numpal from grafo_ped_links g, haltestellen h where SDO_WITHIN_DISTANCE (h.geometry, g.geometry, 'DISTANCE = 0.5 UNIT = KM') = 'TRUE' and g.start_node_id = 355;

I even dropped the indexes of the two tables and recreated them again. I read somewhere that the problem could be due to a lack of advice, so I tried the following and I still get the same error.

    Select / * + LEADING (g) INDEX (h haltestellen_ridx) * / h.desc_i, h.numpal
    of grafo_ped_links g, h haltestellen
    where (g.geometry, h.geometry) sdo_nn = 'true' and g.start_node_id = 355 and rownum < = 5

    Select / * + INDEX (h haltestellen_ridx) NO_INDEX (g grafo_ped_links_ridx) * / h.desc_i, h.numpal
    of grafo_ped_links g, h haltestellen
    where (g.geometry, h.geometry) sdo_nn = 'true' and g.start_node_id = 355 and rownum < = 5

    Select / * + USE_NL (h, g) VALUE * / h.desc_i, h.numpal
    of grafo_ped_links g, h haltestellen
    where sdo_nn (g.geometry, h.geometry, 'sdo_num_res = 5', 1) = 'true' and g.start_node_id = 355 and rownum < = 5

Anyone can please, show me the way, or give a hint. I use oracle spatial 11g.

    Thank you!

    It should be 'TRUE '.

    Select h.desc_i, grafo_ped_links h.numpal g, haltestellen h where (h.geometry, g.geometry) sdo_nn = 'TRUE' and g.start_node_id = 355 and rownum<=>

  • T430: Cannot change the GPU using the NVIDIA Control Panel

    Hello world

I recently bought a T430 including a NVIDIA NVS 5400 M. games graphics card (for example, Max Payne 3) used to run fast, using the NVIDIA GPU. Today, I tried to play a video game once more (after having not played for several weeks). Unfortunately, my OS (Win7, 64-bit) assigns the GPU from Intel, resulting in a much lower speed. Using the NVIDIA Control Panel, I can't change my favorite GPU (changes will not be saved). I already run a update of Lenovo and installed the latest graphics driver (296.88), which resulted in no improvement.

When you start a game, I can choose my graphics manually, but I would like to configure some general settings using the control panel.

    Do you have any solutions?

    Thank you very much.

  • Retrieve by using the backup control file

    Hello

I was reading a book called Pro Oracle Database Administration by Darl Kuhn. There, under the theme of "The valuation of the loss of all control files", noted that all data files and control files are restored from a backup, because if we do not restore the data files the RCS in control files would be lower than the data in these scenarios files. Since online redo logs and archived newspapers is applied to the data files to roll forward in a current consistent state and does not roll forward to a control file.

It is then mentioned to use 'recover the database by using the backup control file' then apply the logs (archive and redo if necessary).

However I personally tested this script in a test environment and to bring all the backup control file could issue the same command as above and recover the database.

My question is I know again and archives are applied only to the data files. So how does the control file are synchronized back when we do not restore the backup data files.

    Thank you

If we do not restore the data files, the RCS in control files would be lower than the data files. Since online redo logs and archived newspapers is applied to the data files to roll forward in a current consistent state and does not roll forward to a control file.

It would be incorrect you have determined. You can only restore the control files. You can manually create a control file and always do the restore.

My question is I know again and archives are applied only to the data files. So how does the control file are synchronized back when we do not restore the backup data files.

The control file is updated as well.

    See you soon,.
