  The first page of the wizard gives you the possibility of expansion (2003 compatible) doc or docx (2007 compatible). I don't think the features added in Word 2007 can be saved in format doc but not 100% sure of that.

  If you use your ID gmail to access skydrive, it's already your microsoft account.  (a microsoft account is not linked to a particular area such as outlook.com, hotmail.com or live.com).  your @gmail.com can also be your microsoft account.

  That said, you can use your id gmail for everything (the computer connection, skydrive account) and stop using the new microsoft account, you just created, or you can set up skydrive just to use your gmail account and continue logging in to your computer with the new microsoft account.

If I save the attachment and open it, it works, but will not acceptable workaround.   I'm sorry I read it too fast. I missed the part in 2016... 2016 is not a configuration supported today, only 2013.

  Yes, that might work.  You can install Windows Virtual PC and Windows XP Mode, and then install Office 2002/2003 in the Virtual PC in Windows XP.  You can then run the Office 2002/2003 programs in Virtual PC, or close the Virtual PC and run them in Windows 7 from all programs > Windows Virtual PC > Windows XP Mode Applications .  You can even have Office 2007 programs and 2002/2003 open at the same time in Windows 7.   If you have Office 365, the simplest method is through OneDrive and your Office 365 subscription includes the free storage for OneDrive (currently from 1 TB to a personal account).

  On your desktop, save the file on OneDrive (exactly how you do it depends on if you use Mac or Windows and what version of Word/Excel). If you use Microsoft Office for Mac I can give you instructions step by step.

• VCS and integration of Office 365 Lync?

  We have recently moved to Office 365 and include features of Lync for Office Office videophone (as well as IM) but we do not have a Lync server on site to do all the required configurations. Anyone out there experience with the integration of these two products?

  My hypothesis is that it is still possible to somehow, but we will not be able to configure any end point of VCS to vocation user Lync. Is it possible to still have Lync users to call to an endpoint of VCS (which is what I really want to do anyway)?

  My first tests have developed negative did the best that I can with the deployment guide, but I also think I might need to change my domain name to my settings of VCS for a subdomain (as @vcs.mydomain.com), now they are both using the same top level domain name, and I fear that the two systems are not 'find' the other because their research are limited to their respective systems.

  You cannot configure Lync to federate to an environment of VCS in the same way that you can federate to other domains running Lync, this isn't how the integration works.

  The role of the VCS in integration with OCS/Lync is to translate between Microsoft SIP and based on the SIP standard, which is the reason why a or several control devices VCS need to communicate directly with a Director or a Front End Processor. You cannot communicate directly with a low of VCS an OCS/Lync Edge server.

  I'm not familiar with Office 365 and which control this service gives you on your server (if any) infrastructure, but if you look at the deployment of OCS/Lync and setup guide, you must perform the VCS on the OCS/Lync server to trust them and possibly to set up static routes I do not think that you will be able to perform these steps by using Office 365 (please, correct me if I'm wrong).

We only use Office 365 for the incoming/outgoing mail. They have a SMTP server to the smtp.office365.com. The problem is that it fails the reverse DNS lookup. What else can I do to get the installer to finish?

  Just to spend in addition to the installation program, you can point to the Configurator - going. There is a demo SMTP server under it. Later be sure to change the SMTP protocol for something worthwhile for email notifications can be sent. How it should be in the manuals.

  Something is create new E-mail contacts only in my 'Exchange' directory of contacts OSX. They do not appear in the 'Contacts' Exchange directory (I use Office 365 for enterprises).

  They seem to have been created emails, I sent in the past, but if I empty my "sent" folder it still happens. It's boring because very often they are duplicates of contacts I already have and they pop up in the email "to:" invite the field and in the calendar.

  Remove Contacts works for a day or two, but then they reappear later.

  Looking at my Office 365 people via a browser, I can't find a directory 'changes everything '... Just 'Contacts' and "Skype for Business Contacts" and only rogue e-mail contacts are not found.

  BTW I have disabled "Contacts are in the mail" in Contacts > Preferences.

  I don't know if there is a problem with OS X or with Exchange.

  Any ideas why this happens?

  I have exactly the same problem (already since OSX Mavericks) and it is very very annoying because he not only mess Contacts, but also the results of research in Mail. I filed a bug report last year, but nothing has happened with it.

  I have no idea how to solve this problem!
