  When you try to view the file system image on a WAAS unit by entering the command "Show flash" or "dir" I see a list of files, but none of them seems to be the image of the system.  My goal is to see the name of the real image of the entire system file to determine if she is 'Accelerator' or 'universal' as part of the file name, IE. similar to a router or switch.  Is this possible with a WAAS unit?

  You cannot use the MultiPage images (like * .tiff) XFA forms.

  The image field widged simply does not support such friendly images.

  I am interested to get printable versions of some pages web test that I built for use with the client. I suppose I could take screenshots, but have been looing by DW with Fireworks, PS, etc., but nothing jumps right.

• How to automate multiple output of a single input image file names?

  I have about 100 eps 4000 pixels wide to treat everyday CMYK images.  The site needs of several editions of the same image jpeg: 1000 pixels wide, 850 pixels wide and 80 pixels wide.

  Question:

  Can I load the single source and save three exits named differently through a single drop?

  I expect an automatism-> response of the lot, but I'm a programmer.  I haven't touched ExtendScript nor anything in CS scripted, but I can certainly read about it.  References to methods that would do a "save under" very similar to save Jpeg for the Web or I can download examples?  All links would be useful.

• File names image missing from the underside of the Photo Image

  I recently spoke with someone from Apple support and they confirmed that displaying the name of the file Image is a present feature in iPhoto, but was lost in the update photograph.  Their suggestion was to send feedback to Apple.  He said that it is the most effective way to get results and more of us than that best the chance we have to see this feature in a future update of photography.  It was my return to Apple:

  "Thank you for the update photograph... I appreciate some of the improved features that have been made for him. However, I would like to note that the absence of the names of files that appears under the image is cruelly.  I find this information very useful as I get pictures from other sources and helps determine the ownership of the photos.  Now, I'm a little lost without her.

  While the screen may look sharper and more user friendly for some, it would be good to know that this feature could be made available View (display Image File Name) option.

  iPhoto has used the names of files as a default title to be displayed as thumbnails, if no title has been assigned. Photo for Mac displays only the titles under the thumbnails, if a title had been awarded. He makes a distinction between a title assigned user and a file name.

  As a workaround: in the tip section the user to change the title of a photo file name - have a look, we have posted a few Scripts from Apple:

  • Script: Change the title filename without Extension
  • Script: Batch change the titles to the w/Extension

  Photos will show the title under the thumbnails if you select the titles in the menu: view > metadata.

  An alternative workaround: you get pictures of the power.  It allows you to browse your photo library with fields of metadata under the thumbnails - keywords, titles, names of files. You can customize what you want to see in the title or subtitle.

• File names Word pasted Images

  My workflow for 9.0.2 WebHelp systems is to generate Word documents to be used for the review and revision by SMEs. These documents are returned to me, I copy and paste and edit changes, compile a new WebHelp system and produce a new set of Word documents and the process continues again. These projects include a large number of use cases with a lot of screenshots.

  To my horror, I discovered just recently that when I copy a large part of the Word text that contains images and paste that in a section of RoboHelp, RoboHelp replaces existing image file names instead of incrementing filenames. Many of these images are new and have not been used in the project of WebHelp previously. If I explicitly select an image in Word, copy and paste, the name of the image file is usually correctly incremented and does not overwrite a file name existing (there were a few exceptions, I've not had time to explore yet).

  I work around this by removing all the images in the Word doc first, but this isn't an ideal solution. Any suggestions? Is this a bug or am I crazy?... < G >

  I see the problem when I followed your steps to the collage of a section of the Word document, and then another.

  There is a very simple solution, after pasting in the first instance, save the theme and then paste it into the next section. It works very well.

  Read the thread earlier, I thought that this was happening, it was the images recorded to the subjects were be sacked, however it's 'only' the pictures that have been pasted in given that the subject of the last record.

  While there is a solution, it is still a bug that should be reported.  Please follow this link and make it clear that the problem, it is with unsaved images.

  Hello, I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit classic mode.  My system specs are listed under my signature.

  Before installing a program today, I went to create a system restore point.  In system properties > System Protection, I see that in the Protection settings > disks available there are two instances of the C: drive tagged like this:

  HDD0 (C :) (System) Protection on (selected)
  HDD0 (C :) (Missing) Protection on

  This is probably due to having recently replaced my C: drive with a disk larger to help to restore from a System Image backup.  The installation seems to succeed.  (I use now!)

  Note: other readers in Protection settings are showing off Protection.

  When I clicked on "Set up" in system properties > System Protection, I have seen that in the restoration of settings, the box "Turn off active Protection" has been selected.  I put the option button "restore system settings and previous versions of files.  In space, the slider was set to 0.  I put it to 1% (857,54 MB).

  When I tried to leave the system of Protection for the dialog to HDD0 (c) I got this error:

  The file name, directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect.  (0x8007007B)
  Close the property page and try again.

  I deleted all restore points, then created a new restore point.  Current usage shows now 29,48 MB.  I still get the error when I try to the OK from the dialog box.  When I click on the system restore and start the Restore Wizard that I can see the restore point, I just created.

  Any help to banish the fake player available and messages will be appreciated greatly.

• Why Firefox displays no more .php suffix web pages which are in my Mac?

  I have a question about Firefox 14.0.1 display web page suffix .php files that are in a Mac running OS 10.8 Mountain Lion. In versions of Mac OS, for example 10.4.7, hospital I could see files of web page correctly displayed with .html and .php suffixes when these web page files were in my computer. I am referring to the page appears as it should display properly, you see is not the source code. If a page has a .php suffix, the browser displays the page correctly although all php scripts that are embedded in this page have been ignored.

  Occasionallly Apple updated its browsers makers occasionally to update the operating system and browser. One day, I noticed that Safari is no longer displayed webpage in my Mac files if these pages have a .php suffix. However, Firefox and other browsers have continued to display the web page with suffixes .php files embedded php scripts have been ignored.

  Now I Mountain Lion in the iMac.

  I see no longer web page of suffix .php files in my regarless of the computer of the browser I use. No browser shows pages.

The dialog box wonder if I want to use the browser to open the file, or if I want to record on the disc. The file on the disc is at the same time, and the computer is disconnected from the Internet. I click I want to use the browser to open the file. Then the dialong box opens again the same question. This happens again and again. I never get to see a web page file in my computer whose name ends with ".php". With Firefox 14.0.1, I can see .php suffix of webpages on the Internet or in a Mac 10.4.7 but not in a Mac 10.8. I don't have Firefox miconfigure? It seems unlikely that Firefox has lost the ability to display pages in Mac OS 10.8 that appears in ' 10.4.7. How can I solve this problem of displaying web page?

  Thank you for your quick response, Ideato. Now, I think that the problem is not a browser issue but a Mac. Although Mac OS 10.8 is much better than 10.4.7 generally, it's worse for the .php suffix file display. There is an online article which solved my problem: "how to enable and configure Apache / PHP support for OS x 10.8 Mountain Lion." July 29, 2012; by Henry Haneez. There are two solutions that Haroon mentions. One is to download and install the latest php, which comes with a web server. The other, which is easier and Haroon explains in detail, is to turn on the server web apache in Cougar and allow the loading of the php module that comes with the Mountain Lion. This module is not as recent just latest whoich of php from php.net.

Here's my question... the cisco image file name is vpn30xxboot - 4.0.Rel.hex but the VPN concentrator would accept 8.3 file names i.e. BOOT file format. TXT... so the question is is it OK to just keep the same hexagonal extension without causing damage to the file... That is, name the file BOOT - 4.hex... your comments are very much appreciated...

  What type of hub? If it's a 3005, you wouldn't need an upgrade of startup code.

  I'm a beginning of work with Adobe Encore CS6. I'm looking for a resolution how to import a .fab file in Adobe Encore. When I import the file .fab and choose the location of the folder of the image file, a pop-up window shows "No Image file in the line of subtitle script" despite the fact that there are image files in the folder. What should I do? Any suggestion would be great!

  I think that the spaces in the file names of your image is shaking again. He sees the first space, reads the name of your picture as "Océans", and cannot find any file named Oceans. You can try to edit the script file to put the image file name in quotes, but I don't know if it will work.

  You can also rename the actual image names to remove the spaces (and I would like to delete the hyphens and use points out), so: Oceans2a_English_test0007.png and then edit the script file for new names.

  If I go to a video file that is stored in my computer, for example xyz.mp4 and right click on it, one of the options is 'Open with' and several options for example QuickTime player, RealPlayer are presented for me to choose. But when I add the file to a web page and create a link to it for example http://sillyvideos.com/xyz.mp4 and then I right click on this link (on the web page) in my Firefox browser, I don't get the option 'open with '. My question is: is it possible to put a link to a video in a web page, so I or other viewers can click right on it and benefit from the option 'open with' (so we can choose the drive to open it, without having to download first in our computers)?

  Normally what happens, is that the server sends the content with one or more headers that dictate what Firefox did with the video.

  For example, if the content is sent with a header that Firefox can play internally, then Firefox can open the video in a tab and use a built-in player. You can see with MP3s when the server says that it is "audio/mpeg" content. However, if the server sends a content type that a capable of handling plugin, Firefox can attempt this plugin.

  Normally Firefox will assume that the content is meant to be displayed in the browser, unless it is an unknown type or has a content-disposition header set to "attachment". In these cases, Firefox usually has open/save/Cancel dialog box.

  I don't know what kinds of choices you want to offer visitors to your site, but if you thought giving them a choice of the players external , sending to content-disposition: attachment to make appear the probably the most logical open/save/Cancel dialog box. With smaller files such as JPEG and PDF, I did it with a script on the server side (for example, a PHP script). I don't know if the script would work with multimedia files.

  If you want to provide more choices, you might need the buttons or links in the page.

  This example applies to a PDF file, but the same idea applies to the image files and it can work with files more mainstream media. (In this case, you change the script to specify the correct content type.)

  Implementation of the PHP approach, you follow these steps. This assumes that your server supports PHP (most do so) and that your Web host allows you to download PHP files.

  (1) save the following as getpdf.php file

  (2) using a FTP software or your server download function, copy getpdf.php into the same folder as your PDF file

  (3) test with your link. In the address bar, or in an e-mail, insert the following text before the name of the PDF file:

• Why Firefox will open link hotkeyed a Web site as a Web page on my PC but download a php file that opens in the language machine when using Firefox on my Mac?

  If I use Safari as my browser, the hotkey opens on another Web page, as it should, without going through a php file download process when the Firefox browser is used. What gives?

  Here are a few things you can do additional tests:

  (1) when you download the newsletter, it is in PDF format?

  (A) on your Mac, you may need to name the file downloaded with a .pdf at the end of the file name extension so that it can open in Adobe Reader (or an extract or other PDF reader that you use).

  (B) on your PC, can you say display the newsletter if it's displaying in the plugin Adobe Acrobat, PDF Viewer integrated Firefox or another plugin?
