  I'm trying to set up a webserver behind a WRT300N. I followed the article Linksys at the bottom of this post, to the letter, but its still does not. I have a cable modem connected to the WRT300N comcast, and then I have my Web server connected to the internet through the WRT300N wireless. I assigned a static IP address to my web server (192.168.1.2), and I also put in place the router before port 80 to the web server (XP pro). However, when I type the public ip address in a web browser, it can't find my server. I know that the web server works because I seem to be my home page when I type http://localhost in the local web browser. Any ideas?   Have you tried access you a public IP of someone elses PC, IE. a single step on your own network?

  I had / have a problem try accessing one of my friends unless I have use someone elses internet connection. I could access only web interface of my modem otherwise.

  I want to leave the outside web traffic in my web server box that hosts 4 sites. I only let people with HTTP and HTTPS.

  How should I do and for purposes of flexibility, say also tomorrow I want to host my site on a different web server #3 but always with the same IP address, can I selectively route certain web traffic to the boxes in different web server?

  Also, I want to open another port, say, 8080 for administrative purposes. Can I route HTTP or HTTPS, addressed to some port # to the Web server also?

  You will need to create static port mapped, but if you have only the external IP address a people can connect to, they will need to connect to a specific port in the URL to differentiate which internal web server, they really want to go.

  For example:

  > static (inside, outside) tcp 205.200.20.5 80 192.168.111.101 80 netmask 255.255.255.255

  > static (inside, outside) tcp 205.200.20.5 81 192.168.111.102 80 netmask 255.255.255.255

  maps of connections to 205.200.20.5 on port 80 through to port 80 on 192.168.111.101. Connections inbound to port 81 will be mapped through to port 80 on 192.168.111.102. Connections incoming on port 82 will be mapped through to port 80 on 192.168.111.103 and so on.

  You cannot map just all incoming traffic on port 80 to 4 different internal web servers, cause how the PIX will know which send traffic to.

  To allow access, as well as the static shown bove, you must:

  > list of allowed inbound tcp access any host 205.200.20.5 eq 82

  > interface entering outside acess group

  HTTPS is also going to be a problem, to do the same on HTTP, you need to use different ports to differentiate what specific internal web server that you want to that they go (and allow these ports in your "incoming" ACL above).

  To port 8080, just follow these steps:

  > static (inside, outside) 205.200.20.5 tcp 8080 192.168.111.10x 8080 netmask 255.255.255.255

  > list of allowed inbound tcp access any host 205.200.20.5 port 8080

  As you can probably guess, this won't work very well if you have only one external IP address, because users will not know to specify a specific port number so that they get through an internal host specific. You may have a single external address for each web server internal to this work in reality.

  Product key Finder programs are USELESS for Vista computers preinstalled, as they find the product key of plant manufacturers, which is used for installations of mutiple during Assembly of the computer.

  This key will not help you reinstall Vista!

  If you communicate with HP they will post you Recovery DVD for a low price to reinstall Vista and they do NOT require a product key

  Or ask the use of the recovery Partition, which must be copied to the hard drive HP

  There are some problems with the download of ftp through Muse, who knows the team of engineers and those will be corrected in a future version of Muse. At this point, the work around would be to export the html code of Muse and then download via some third party client like filezilla ftp.

• Android web server and local

  First of all, quick summary of my configuration:

  • 6 devices - 3 Android and iOS 3 devices all connecting via wireless
  • LAN with my own Web server and DNS. All Web sites are configured to work outside virtualhost such as mysite.local and can be access in the browser on my desktop and all devices
  • My own local server weinre works again since all devices
  • My own PC with Chrome and and extension edge inspect
  • All devices can connect on board to inspect without any problem and in a position to use synchronized browsing Web sites on the internet

  I just upgraded to the full version of creative cloud and now I can view is more Web sites on my LAN in edge inspect but ONLY on my Android devices. I would absolutely swear that my Android devices to connect but for some reason, they cannot now and I get a message "Web Page not available". In addition, it shows the IP of my desktop (I guess this is how to inspect dashboard works?) as the address that it is unable to connect. On the back of this, I tried to connect to this IP address in the Android browser but nothing happened, and I turned off the firewall on my desktop PC but still no luck. Finally, I tried everything Android devices on their own without the connected devices iOS, but also with all 6 are connected and it's the same thing every time.

  Anyone able to help?

  Hi Chris,

  OK, got it. I'm sure that I know what goes wrong. In iOS, the .local domain names management is automatic, but we had to in Android code in a solution for this particular situation. In iOS, .local refers to the local computer, so when the Android client sees that URL to enter, she replaces part se1united.local of the URL with the IP address of the machine running edge inspect. In most cases, that works, but in your case, it seems that you are in fact trying to refer to a third machine whose IP address must be resolved in dialogue with your own domain name server. The code native iOS that runs properly and is not our code custom Android.

  So there is a problem with our Android app, but I suspect the fix for this will not be easy. In the meantime, there should be some simple solutions, you can choose from your side which must make things work correctly with applications Android and iOS.

  1. In Chrome, try referring to your site with the following URL: http://192.168.1.50/ OR
  2. Rename your server from se1united.local to something that does not include the part ".local" domain name

  I think that is one of those who should work fine.

• Flex with separate Web server and app server

  I have a flex app built in Flex Builder. I put the BlazeDS server to point to an internal ip address. When I exported the build, I placed it on an IIS web server that has access to the network where the BlazeDS server is and is also visible externally. I put the file crossdomain.xml to the BlazeDS server to allow access for all (I know that's not sure, but I just want to eliminate this variable). I can make calls to remote objects when I run the flex from the internal network application. However, when you try to make calls to remote objects when you access the app outwardly I get an error that says:

  I implemented the services - config.xml so that all methods of the AMF are pointing to the internal ip address.

  My crossdomain.xml file is host to BlazeDS (internal IP) in the folder WEB-INF\root. I also put on the Web server? I ran the fire bug and it seems to try to recover the crossdomain.xml file by using the ip address of the internal BlazeDS server which it cannot reach because it is not exposed to the world.

  So in summary, I have Web server through the flex application, and then another machine separated with the BlazeDS application. The BlazeDS application is on an internal IP address and I can't seem to make the remote to her calls when you access the outside flex application.

  Your BlazeDS application should be accessible to the outside (on the internet). Internal IP address would work on your network.

I would like to be able to create a form (for entry) on a Web page, and then go this LabView project entry existing. The existing LabView project then treats the input and generates a text file that the user wants to download from the site.

  So my question is, is it possible? If so, how to configure it and what products/costs might be involved?

  Hi Andy -.

  There are a few limitations "Remote panels" who probably will not do what you are trying to do as possible.  First, the remote panels have only runs on a Server Web of LabVIEW, and this server does not support PHP.  Integrate a web site that uses a web server with more features of LabVIEW is to put the server on a different port and then use an iFrame or something to integrate LabVIEW remote panel page into your own web site.  Communication back will probably have to use another protocol tansportation or to read and write files that they read and write.

  I highly recommend that you look in another function to LabVIEW, called "Web Services".  These are quite a bit different approach of the remote control and are available only on version 8.6 and later (and probably only editions of developers).  Services Web of LabVIEW allows you to perform a LabVIEW program (or modify an existing one) to connect back using XML.  It is a common place to consume and send commands to a Web Service of LabVIEW by using something like PHP or Flash.  However, you are responsible to provide interfacing features in the language that you use that consume the Web Service of LabVIEW.  For example, instead of a graphic on the front, you would need graphical data output and a PHP program that can do something with it.

  Web Services are quite handy if you need a 'light' client, as well as material interaction features of LabVIEW.

  For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.

  It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work.   I would put it no doubt inside. In this era of virus, worms, software, spyware, p2p, etc., your users applications are often (in general not as malicious) also dangerous than the outside world. Use a DMZ for MS products is darn almost impossible, unless it is limited filtering (blocking access to users to SNMP, terminal services and other management fixed ports) in a position that allowed default value (rather than the general practices of firewall failure deny and selectively permit).

  Because of the need for a relatively open between the clients and servers MS, I have a pretty aggressive policy of hardening, patching and antivirus.

  If you try to put your DMZ, you can determine how your internal users could access it. If they are accessing the interface of http as well, it's good (some applications have two web interfaces as client binary packages well too big that use different, sometimes dynamic ports). You could then selectively allow access to the ip address of sql for ad servers only and open a ton it things. Yet, there is the risk that if this box has been compromised, it could be a conduit for other hosts. Because this kind of things MS is such a puzzle to the DMZ, I generally recommend people think about hardening the servers instead of trying to force the DMZ piece square into a round hole.

  For IIS, look are the IISLockdown utility, which is a supplement on win2k/NT4 and perhaps be included out of the box on win2k3. It is menu-driven and can help you disable stuff you don't need. Hacking exposed Win2k is a great book to pick up. The NSA.gov has guidelines of security for most of the server MSFT products.
