  I did a clean install of vCenter 4 on a Windows 2003 VM, everything works well except the web administration. I want to display frontpage where you can download vSphere Client etc. but when I go to "Log in to Web Access" (http://my_vcenter_url/ui), I get the error: 503 Service unavailable.

  After some research it appears as ' VMware VirtualCenter Management Webservices ' ('... \VMware\Infrastructure\tomcat\bin\Tomcat6.exe ' //RS//vctomcat) service does not start (which is weird cause displays the first page). Dig deeper into the tomcat logs, I have to:

• Web services on HP7510 unavailable printer, can not install.

  Hi, I can not install the HP7510 web services even if it is well connected to the network and to the internet. When I try a message out saying: this web services server is not available and invetes me to start over again. This goes along for 2 weeks now. Very frustrating.

  Just had this problem, yes the service was not ongoing enforcement - but still got exactly the same message even after confirmation it was running. (even the full client of VI gave the same message on trying to connect)

  It was caused by the fact that my network card on my machine had a default gateway configured - even if the host I have access to was on the same subnet as my PC. I've seen this before on other devices, which is what made me try.

  What is happening to administrative users as well or just the Standard users who have implemented Parental controls?
  One thing I would try is to go to Parental control, turn it off, restart, then turn it back on. It works correctly now?

  Another suggestion would be to create a new user account for the standard user and activate the parental control. Does
  This new user with the same problem?

  Have you tried to use a system restore back to an earlier point in time where worked the parental controls
  and doesn't block is not Web pages?

  I checked the database and found that some passwords have expired, so I reset the passwords and unlocked the accounts:

  APEX_LISTENER

  APEX_REST_PUBLIC_USER

  I rebuilt the apex.war file to set the password and deployed through Glassfish.

  A new attempt of connection, I get the same error.

  I noticed that the user APEX_LISTENER custody account prepares return to LOCKED (TIMED) seen in OEM.

  I'm grabbing at straws now and would appreciate any guidance to solve this problem.

  I can provide more information if necessary (Glassfish log information).

  LoL... been there. doing just that. (but not with APEX)

  The listener connects to the database with a configured name and the password (I'm guessing that yours is APEX_LISTENER)

  If the connection fails, the listener will try again with the same password (... but you have changed the password)

  Most DBs are configured so that: after N attempts, the account is blocked

  (Looks like that you reset the password before re - configure the listener)

  Fresh DB installs have the default profile to expire after n days.  (You will need to correct this or revisit this days n problem now.)

  TO FIX

  1. stop the listener
  2. account reset
  3. Configure the listener
  4. Retest the account using a tool (such as SQL * Plus or SQL Developer)
  5. start the receiver
  6. wait for 15 min and restest the account

  LONG TERM FIX

  Database accounts have a "default profile" which defines things as "passwords Expire after n days" and "lock the account after n failures."

  Discuss with your DBA on how to handle what it will because it is a thing of DB, not a thing of the APEX.

  idea 1: (insecurity) change the default profile to set the password for the 'end' to 'never '.

  idea 2: create a 'APEX profile' with the whole 'expire the password' to 'never '.

  other ideas

  You may need to examine patterns of analysis.

  For example, when we syndicate spec formulation we organize care related ingredient as well.
  A middleware could not complete processing card ingredient in some circles, while formulating specifications are be unionized.
  In this case, a reply from syndication spec wording could come back as a failure.
  Since this is just a problem of synchronization/synchronization on the other side the RepeatableCrossReferenceReconciler back TIP failed to the status of "Staging for Syndication" try again in the next window of syndication.
  A TIP will be in State "Failed" after the number of attempts is greater than configured NumberOfRetries.

  I assume you are using SyndicationServiceTransporterFactory as your MessageTransporterFactory.
  In this case, the carrier will throw an exception and stop the subscription process if the endpoint is unreachable.
  You will need to create your own MessageTransporterFactory which will create the new carrier which will catch the exceptions of timeout and communication and generate a response failed.
  Given that SyndicationServiceTransporter is a public class, you can extend and override the DoTransport method.
  Inside the method, you can call base. DoTransport encapsulated in a try-catch block.
  If the time-out or of communication exception occurs, generate you an xml representing a failed State, and write in the answer folder.

  I'm doing the easiest test in my new environment OSB: publish a remote web service on the bus.
  
  To perform this test, I followed these steps:
  
  I checked the external web service is running and the WSDL is accessible from the machine of the OSB.
  I have created a new session in the sbconsole and created a new project
  I imported the WSDL file and called CursosFormacion.
  I created a new Business Service WSDL Web service and selected the available Port.
  I ve activated the changes and then do a test using the debug console.
  
  When I try to run the service I get a "Service unavailable" error response (http: 503 error code)
  I tried to increase the time-out response, but without success.
  
  I checked the remote web service works by using SOAP UI 3.0 and the service is ok.
  Can someone tell me how this error trace and debugging?

  For 10g and Studio 6.0:

  For 10g and Enterprise using WebLogic 6.0 go to:

  I am trying to connect to a Web site that I am using for 5 years and more. Now Firefox reports that the certificate is incorrect, and the message "Web service is disabled. An administrator can activate with the server application. ", is given.

  I don't know what to do with this information. Service Web is on other Web sites. What is the "server application? How to take control and connect? I am the administrator.

  Are you able to reproduce this problem with another browser?

• Photosmart HP 7520: HP Photosmart 7520 does not connect to web services

  My printer suddenly stopped connecting to the Web Services a month ago. I had already used web services successfully for two years, then my computer infected with malware and ruined a lot of things. I guess that it also affected the printer since it is at the same time ceases to function properly.   It's used to work. Now when I try to scan to e-mail, I get all the way to where I choose it as a Document and then I get the message "unable to connect to web services. I printed out the results of the wireless network Test and everything looks great. Also, the Configuration of the network page is superb. My name network, says it is connected to the Internet. I was able to download the updates. IP address looks right.

  I understand that your printer is not connected to the web services.  . I would first disconnect the router and the printer for about 1 minute.  I would plug the router first then the printer. I would then try to enable web services. If not successful, and you get the same error message. I'd follow these steps.

  1 obtain the IP address of your printer

  a. This can be done by pressing the icon on the printer wireless.

  2. Enter the printer's IP address in a browser.

  3. Select the tab network at the top of the page.

  4. on the left, select network.

  5. Select Network (IP) address

  6. select manual DNS server

  a. manual Preferred DNS should read 8.8.8.8

  b. alternate DNS server should read. 8.8.4.4

  7. Select apply you could get a fair warning select OK.

  I'm trying to implement HP ePrint on my printer HP Laserjet M1522nf connected to my home network. I am unable to find the claim code for my printer set up the device connected HP services.

  I entered the IP address on my web browser and entered the Printer Setup tab, but I can't find the web services tab or the printing page of information for the claim code.

  Please let me know how to find the claim code so that I could set up ePrint.
