Web service with fds2 proxy

Hi all

I fight with the fds2 and currently fail to use a proxy for my webservice.

Maybe I also understand something, do what I want to do is I want to use the fds/webservice as proxy for collect calls and transmit it to an another webservice (accepting only the computer proxy connections)

So I set up the service_config.xml and put them in the additional compiler arguments, but for somehow reason is same didn t connect to webproxy.

Maybe I need to learn more on jrun, but literature, I thought that the webproxy configuration is easy to install.

Does anyone have experience in the implementation of a similar scenacrio? (perhaps with other application servers)

Best regards
Kcell

Have you looked at the server console or the server for any errors of configuration logs

  • How to call a Web service with more than 1 parameter value?

I have a Web service with a query as an array of String parameter.
In an invoing xml, it should looks like:

    < GetPersonsData_Request >

    < bpelx: to > $GetPersonsData_Request.parameters/ns2:request/ns5:PersonIdList < / bpelx: to >

Messages are introduced into flat files, then you go on the road to flat file for loading the data.

Messages are entered in the database, and you are regular GoldenGate-Land.

There is no way, a message will be put directly into a trail; those are specific GG.

  • I can't activate the web services, printer asking proxy address, ISP says no proxy

I want to print from the ipad, iphone etc. with wireless turned on and connected. Try to activate the printer asking proxy that my ISP says that there is no proxy, web services, help with what I can do. I bought it only so that I can print from my ipad, the retailer does not know how to put in place, help please if you can

There is another option to put in a custom DNS server. The integrated Web server for this model may be slightly different, but the following steps apply for all HP printers.

What you want to do is to collect the IP address of the printer, you can do this by pressing the icon on the screen wireless and you will have to go to display settings after. Take this ip address and put it in the address bar of your web browser as a Web page. From there, go to the tab network along the top of this page, then you should have an option of ipv4 on the left side under wireless (or wired) If you are using ethernet. Here, you can set a manual IP address and a DNS Server Manual. Configure the DNS server to manual and put as a main 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as secondary.

These measures will have the printer through the servers DNS googles, which does not seem to solve this problem, most of the time. The main cause is that your ISP DNS servers may not have servers of web services in their system, so when it goes to connect it times out and gives you the message from proxy.

  • Web services with customer LV

A typical approach to web services to access the host (a cRIO incorporated, for example) by using a client running in a browser with JavaScript.  All those put in place a LabVIEW client that calls the web services on the host computer?  How this could be done?

I have a cRIO with a RESTful web service work and I can access it with my browser.  It works very well.  Now, I want to access the same service using a LabVIEW client... Or I could write my own customer by BT if I new how to register the service with .NET, which I did not.  So, it's a fact that LV can be used to create a web service client.  I'm looking to better understand how it can be done.

The native TCP VIs can perform HTTP requests and call the methods of Service Web LabVIEW (http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/epd/p/id/3153 or http://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-2230).  Using these screws, you can create a customer of LabVIEW.

Alternatively, you can use an ActiveX control to the browser with the Navigate2 method to call Web Services:

WSDL files are generally used for Web Services using the SOAP Protocol (Developer Zone Tutorial: LabVIEW using SOAP Web Services call).  I know that it is possible to do the same for a RESTful Web Service (LabVIEW deploy services RESTful web), but I don't have any information on how this is done with a simple Google search in addition, it seems that most of the other public forums has rejected the idea, because you just need to build an HTTP request to call a web method.

  • Web Service with Laserjet 200 M251nw connection error

I searched other messages here and tried everything.  I can't get the Web Service works with this printer.  It works fine connected locally.  It has a fixed local IP address.   I put the printer in the DMZ router.  I put the DNS settings to Google's servers.  I checked the firmware, and this is the last 20121026.

Enable Web Services.  Then he comes back and says success is waiting for the briefing, but he never comes.  I go to the HP ePrint tab and I see it has an e-mail address assigned, but when I ask another information paper, the 'connection error' returns.  I sent by email to the address and nothing happens.

I bought my son a chromebook for Christmas and I would like for him to be able to print to it.  Help!

I finally got this working.   I ended up buying a new router, but I was ready to be upgraded in all cases.  It works very well with this new router (D-Link DIR - 860L).

Before I had a router ASUS RT - N16 running DD - WRT, but I loaded the latest firmware ASUS when I couldn't get this to work.  It did not matter.  The router seems to hang after the registration of the printer with another firmware, so I decided it was the router as well as the HP support line.

Now everything works such as documented.

  • [JDev 12 c] How do I imply a Web service (with authentication) method?

    Hallo,

in my merger ADF Web Application I have to call some methods of a REST Web service, but I have no way to have the WSDL or w.

I only know the URL of the container methods and the name (and parameters) of each method.

How can I call the webservice methods in JDeveloper?

The RESTful Client and Proxy JDeveloper component is not useful for me: he needs the URL of the WSDL/w but, as I said before, I did not.

I also tried to use JDeveloper Webservice data control , but I had problems configuring.

Would you kindly suggest me a way - also in pure Java (so without using a component JDevelpoer) - to call a Web service method and read his answer?

The Web service needs to the authentication of the client so I would like to know also how do I do the authentication (username + password) by programming.

    Many thanks in advance,

  • problems with the XML that is returned when you call a web service with CF11

Hi, I ran into an unusual behavior when calling web services.

I call a web service that returns an XML like this:

    < children >

    < child >

    John < firstname > < / name >

    DOE < name > < / lastname >

    < / child >

    < / children >

during the call to the web service of CF10, it works fine. However, when the CF11, I don't get this:

    < child >

    John < firstname > < / name >

    DOE < name > < / lastname >

    < / child >

no < child >? for some reason, CF11 ignores / hides the highest level XML. This does not happen on previous versions. Why? the server that hosts the web service's CF11 too.

Report it as a bug in Coldfusion. In any case, I recommend making sure your web service returns a string, not an XML object.

This is because a web service must be universal. Appellants to .NET, Java, PHP, ASP and so on, will interpret a chain exactly the same way. Whereas an object XML Coldfusion is a construction that is heard only in CFML.

Your return string should also start with the XML declaration, like this

    John

    DOE

So it is clear to the appellant in which brought the cat.

  • ADF Mobile access protected web service with the user name and password

With Jdev 11.1.2.4 (with the extension of the ADF Mobile) I am creating a data control that uses a SOAP web service. The web service is not protected by a policy of wss, but its point of endpoint URL is only protected by simple HTTP authentication (internal weblogic server is not accessible public.) We use an Apache server that is configured with a location that is a simple proxypass on url of the web service endpoint weblogic. This apache location apply simple HTTP authorization). I can invoke successfully the methods with parser HTTP by simply adding to the request HTTP header "authorization: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx base =" (where xxx = user name and encrypted password).

In the mobile application of ADF, I used the DataControls.dcx-> window to connect to the Web Service change and provided the username and password to the URL of the endpoint. The problem is that after the deployment and execution of this application on the emulator (or the device itself), I get no data by the web service since with the HTTP 401 error http server responses. It seems that that the credentials are not deployed to the device, so while the application is running can not find them.

I searched a lot and found a similar article (quite old) in the RTO by Frank Nimphius here access_protected_web_services_from_adf.htm

Is there a way to do this, or if I'm missing the entire image?

    Thank you very much.

  • Runtime error in workflow using the API Web service with a VC:VirtualMachine parameter

    Hello

I took the example for the execution of a workflow using powershell via the site Web of Joerg Lew Web service API and changed to pass an input parameter to the name of the Virtual Machine.

I have no error in powershell, but when I check the events for the workflow in Orchestrator I see it failed with the error "Validation error for the parameter"vm". It's using out of the box "Start virtual machine and wait" stream  Is a problem with a virtual machine name is paid as a string? I tried to use the full name of the virtual machines and the ID.  I have provided the code below.  Can someone help with how to get this working?

    $vcoWS = new-WebServiceProxy-VCO, VCO - Namespace - Uri of the class http://192.168.1.65:8280 / vmware-vmo-webcontrol/webservice? WSDL
$workflows = $vcoWS.getWorkflowsWithName ("Start the virtual machine and wait", "vcoadmin", "vcoadmin")
    $workflow = $workflows [0]
    # print the input parameters
    $workflow.inParameters
    # generates the table with input parameters (WorkflowTokenAttribute - objects)
    $inparams = @)
    # fill in the table, an entry for each input parameter
    $inparams += new-Object - TypeName VCO. WorkflowTokenAttribute
    $inparams [0] .name = "VM".
    $inparams [0] .Guy = "VC:VirtualMachine."
    $inparams [0] .value = "vm-113.
#... turns on and off (use $null on $inparams if the workflow has no input parameter
    #... und implement
    $workflowToken = $vcoWS.executeWorkflow ($workflow.id, $inparams, "vcoadmin", "vcoadmin")

    Thank you

    David

    Hi David,

    > game $inparams [0] = "VC:VirtualMachine".

This means that the type of entry for this workflow is an object of type 'VC:VirtualMachine '. So, passing the name of the virtual machine would not work. The expected value for such an entry is the string representation of an object which, in the case of the vCO is a unique object identifier. The object id unique vCO looks like this:

    dunes://service.dunes.ch/CustomSDKObject?ID= "15.23.34.34/vm-590'&dunesName='VC:VirtualMachine".

but you don't need to know this (technically, if you know the ip address of the vCenter and the id of the virtual machine can be built but is not a recommended practice).

The right way to find the string representation of the object "VC:VirtualMachine" with the name you need to do a few more things. I'll do the example in java and it should be easy to turn into powershell.

    QueryResult result = vcoWS.find ("VC:VirtualMachine", "xpath:name = \" vm-113\ "", username, password);

    String stringObjectRepresentation = null;

    If (result.getTotalCount () > 0) {}

    FinderResult = result.getElements () FinderResult [0];

    stringObjectRepresentation = finderResult.getDunesUri ();

    }

Thus, the stringValue should be attributed to the line:

    $inparams [0] .value = stringObjectRepresentation

    Hope it will help.

Without doubt, Joerg would be able to illustrate this solution with powershell later ;-)

  • Reload via Web Services with ESXi?

Is it possible to restart a virtual machine running on ESXi using Web Services?  I tried the sample code provided with the SDK, but I get an error. RestrictedVersion.summary. ideas?

    Thank you

    ARIN

PS. I also tried the scrip poweroff_suspend_vm.pl with the same results.

To use the API or remote CLIs with ESXi, you must have a paid license. If you use the free version of ESXi, you will not be able to take advantage of the APIs or CLIs

  • Changing the settings of data control for the Web Service with the company Manager

We have different environments for the development, test, acceptance and Production. In the environment, we use different instances of the BSSV server so we have several points of endpoints for Web Services. When we move at the request of the ADF from one environment to another, we do not want to change the source code, but we want to change endpoints using configuration. We have seen that store them in Enterprise Manager, we can change endpoints and that this configuration will be saved in a MDS. But what precisely needs to be configured on the application to get this working? Now, we can change endpoints, but they are not saved.

I found the information in this blog but it doesn´t work: http://blogs.oracle.com/adf/2011/02/changing_endpoint_url_for_a_web_service_data_control.html

    Joost

    Hello

If you want to configure deployment position of connections, it is necessary for your application to be configured with a Repository. As of MDS in writing I'd mentioned in the blog too, for that you need an entry in the adf - config.xml and that your server must have a registered MDS store. Unless you are going to do this, the connection endpoint changes you make will not be saved.
For example, at the end of the application, adf-config.xml file, you need an entry like this:
    .

    .
When you deploy this application a server with a registered MDS, the deployment repository will bring up a dialog box where you can set(select/create) a partition for this app in the mds repository. Once your deployment is done, now if you change the endpoint using EM, it will save your changes.

  • Error in the REST Web Service with the text output Format

    Hi all

I am referencing a REST web service and can successfully connect to it and retrieve the results with the output XML value Format.

I don't need the node values, I want to just grab the entire XML string and fill a table with her column.

When I create a new Rest web service reference, including the text output Format value and then create a form/report to run it, I get the following error when I click on "send":

ORA-06550: line 1, column 63: PLS-00103: encountered the symbol "end-of-file" when expects it one of the following numbers: (- + new case mod not null to other current County avg exists max min prior sql stddev sum variance execute forall time timestamp interval date fusion pipe)
    Error sending request.

There is control in the XML characters, but surely, this is handled by the Apex, so I'm not sure what the problem is here.

    Any ideas most welcome.

    Thank you
    Rhodri

    Rhodri:

Request Express waiting for answer text actually be answer text, delimited by other characters that denotes a new value and a new Recordset. You should leave the response as XML. The XML document will be stored in the column xmltype01 in the collection that you specify. You can then convert this column xmltype01 in a clob, if you like using the. toClobVal().

    Kind regards

    Jason
