Web site icon is not on the home screen

When I try to add my site's icon on my home screen, IOS simply capture screenshot of the page I'm on and does not place the icon. Can someone help me to make it appear as an icon on the Home Page from a screenshot of the page I'm my Web site icon?

Could you provide a screenshot of what you see? Adding that a page to the homescreen within Safari to create an icon with a vision of the screen that you look in time, not a special icon.

    Just got my smartwatch 2 yesterday. I've paired successfully with my Xperia z. Now, the watch does not display the home screen it shows that time dimmed. When I try to press the home button, it doesn't do anything, I tried to update it but still the same problem. I got a call on my cell and I was able to handle the watch by cancelling or answering. Any ideas.

    Years... as iOs6 days, there was a web page where you can enter in a URL, tap the icon png, and it would be you can create a bookmark on your home screen.

    It was, iirc, originally designed to allow you to make icons to toggle the settings like airplane mode.

    I used it to make an icon for a url mailto icon on my iPad v1 and my iPod Touch 4.

    ANYWAY, I now have an iPhone and would be like putting said icon/mailto bookmark on it as well, but my search on Google for the page isn't going well, so I thought I would ask if someone remembers a thing like that.

    Well, my googling this issue continues, I found that what I had used was a "DATA URL".

    At the time, I did it with a Web site that would generate them with icons you load, or those that he had... that cannot be found at all.

    BUT, by getting the "data url" when I click on the icon on my iPad, and then paste this url long extremly in safari on the iPhone... leave the "loading" page, triggering the mail, then cancelling the mail and THEN by saving this page (the data page url) to the home screen, it created the icon (the icon image is stored in the public record of my selection) with the name "program".

    I've had three questions for you gurus:

    (1) is there a way that I can choose which icons appear on the home screen, so that I don't not to hit the MENU button and then scroll to access ones I use regularly...?

    (2) ATT (in the United States) made wonder a user name and password when I try to connect to att.com/blackberrystart.  I already put in place an email 'external' non-Exchange, the private, ([email protected]) on my phone, but of course I can't use it to connect to this site.  Does anyone have an idea as to what is happening?

    (3) even if I send emails using this account [email protected] of "BOLD", what should I do to RECEIVE emails on account of [email protected] using POP?

    Any help on these three issues will be fantastic.

    You can hide those that you no longer want to see. Just ALT + click the trackball on those that you do not want to see and choose hide. With the default theme only the top row of icons will be visible without hitting the menu button.

    When you go to the page AT & T BIS are you in the 'create new account' first? You can create an account to access the site. After you have created an account, you can access the sections of e-mail accounts to configure your BlackBerry email account.

  • The only text message notification bubble is not on the home screen.

    There was once a bubble showing the number of new texts that come out of the e-mail on the home screen icon, but it ceased to appear. Endurance mode is not on. Any ideas?

    Have you changed to a custom home screen? If you have, and it stopped just after that, it will miss the custom home screen coding.

    Hi all

    My Torch 9800 has developed a weird problem with the text on the home screen icon.  When I tap on it, my Office messages open instead?

    He used to work fine when I got on the phone.  The only way I can write a text is to select a contact in the contacts list, and then select send a text message to this person.  All works, but is a pain.  I'm sure it is just wrong to finger and a parameter has been changed from somewhere but where.

    What determines which opens when you tap on an icon?

    Any help would be great.

    Have you tried a hard reset on your device?  With the unit powered on, remove the battery for a few minutes, then replace.  See if you are then able to access the text normally.

    The clock was removed as a widget on the home screen and moved to the upper right. I think you may have seen a 1.0.1 version or earlier.

    1.1 no longer has the clock on the homepage. It wasn't Alcatel; It's a change of function at the point 1.1

    Try disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox.

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    There has been problems reported with older versions of the Helvetica font bitmap or Geneva or fonts (bitmap) that Firefox cannot display in this size.

    Firefox cannot display some old bitmap fonts in a larger size gibberish and display instead.

    You can test in zoom out (view > Zoom > Zoom out, Ctrl-) to make the text smaller.

    Uninstall (remove) all variants of this not working do Firefox, use another font or see if you can find a version of real type that does not show the problem.

    There was also the fonts with a reported Chinese name who self-identify as Helvetica, in order to check that as well.

    Hey Urbano... I finally got the Bandsintown html code to work properly in Adobe Muse. I created a new white master with no background, images, etc. and applied to a new, blank page. Then I pasted the original HTML... with no changes and no additional graphics on the page. It worked... I could see all the information of the tour. Then, one by one, I added additional elements to the master page... as image background, menu, logo, etc. I kept it check each time I added an item until my page has been done. It worked. I have no idea, but I'm guessing it has something to do with the fact that "by default, the widget uses the styles of the page, in that it is included". I'm not a coder either... just determined to understand! LOL I hope it works for you.

    My Z10 was stolen last week, fortunately I did a backup of a few days before. I bought an other Z10 now restored my backup for it and everything seemed to go very smoothly. Until I tried to save a url from the browser to the home screen.

    The process seems to go normally, except that the icon never appears on the home screen. Savings in the form of bookmarks URL works, but I want to save some to the homescreen lke I used to be able to do.

    I met other Z10 owners who have the same problem after doing a restore and have not been able to find a solution.

    It works!

    Do you have a factory reset, restored my backup again and this time it worked. The only thing that was different was a new (released some time this afternoon) update link to BB.

    I don't know if re-restoration has fixed the problem or update link BB before the re - restore the fixed. Although my "instinct" is that the link BB update has solved, because all my "home screen" shortcuts also reappear (they were absent after the first attempt).
