  My Torch 9800 has developed a weird problem with the text on the home screen icon.  When I tap on it, my Office messages open instead?

  He used to work fine when I got on the phone.  The only way I can write a text is to select a contact in the contacts list, and then select send a text message to this person.  All works, but is a pain.  I'm sure it is just wrong to finger and a parameter has been changed from somewhere but where.

  Have you tried a hard reset on your device?  With the unit powered on, remove the battery for a few minutes, then replace.  See if you are then able to access the text normally.

  Welcome to Apple Support communities.  I'm glad you brought your question to be able to respond to messages directly from the lock screen, it is a feature I use all the time and I know it's convenient not having fully unlock and go to the app to respond quickly to a text.

  Let's check some settings to make sure that we have everything set up correctly for you to be able to respond to messages from the lock screen.

  The application of settings:

  1. Touch ID & password (enter your access code)
  2. Scroll down to ALLOW ACCESS when it is LOCKED
  3. Don't forget that respond with Message is enabled and set to green

  This has been asked before and solved... you have a problem of memory... you must have at least 12 MB of free space for the phone works smothly. If you have not yet get a memory card and move your photos and videos on memory card. and ringtones downloaded... to find out what the status of your file is click on options of--> the situation and see what your file free it is another thing that could help is to do a battery pull, then do step above...   My Z10 was stolen last week, fortunately I did a backup of a few days before. I bought an other Z10 now restored my backup for it and everything seemed to go very smoothly. Until I tried to save a url from the browser to the home screen.

  The process seems to go normally, except that the icon never appears on the home screen. Savings in the form of bookmarks URL works, but I want to save some to the homescreen lke I used to be able to do.

  Do you have a factory reset, restored my backup again and this time it worked. The only thing that was different was a new (released some time this afternoon) update link to BB.

  I don't know if re-restoration has fixed the problem or update link BB before the re - restore the fixed. Although my "instinct" is that the link BB update has solved, because all my "home screen" shortcuts also reappear (they were absent after the first attempt).

  Yes, however it is a sort of workaround.

  Create an image (or use an existing one), paint some text that you want on the image and after that set the image as a background image.

  If you don't see it still, look at the Options > advanced > Applications. Do you not see it listed there?

  2 is it hidden? On your home screen, press Menu > SHOW ALL, so that ALL DISPLAY is checked.

  Now, back in ALL these folders.

  No, reset I described the first bullet of the post above will remove NO contacts or data (or I would have notified you as so).

  Similarly, this discount to zero just does NOT turn and the unit. Do it as described above.
