  I need an Acer AS5830T webcam driver. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit OS. The driver is not listed under «Drivers» Acer support page I tried the drivers of other similar TimelineX models and have not found one that works yet. I had to do this on the other Acer models (i.e. A150 with Windows 7, no driver listed), and did so successfully. I sent a message to Acer UK, as you CAN their message and receive a response, unlike Acer us. I explained that I needed a driver for the Webcam for this model, and that there is no driver listed. I asked if they could send me the driver, or send a link where I could download it. They said want to know exactly what was the problem I'm having... lol. I thought my message was pretty explicit!   Solved the problem of webcam driver! The Acer AO756 webcam driver seems to be a driver of "universal" type. " It covers any brand of webcam (e.g. Liteon, Suyin, etc...). Worked like a charm. It is listed under Applications on the Aspire One AO756 driver page. Hope this helps others who have the same problem.

  Operating system uses the standard Microsoft driver.

  You should first go to Device Manager and need to uninstall the driver.

  Fortunatelly Toshiba provides enough drivers XP but the series driver and webcam driver ATI does not work.

  The Toshiba driver page seems offers XP drivers for four different sets of Satellite P300D!
  Have you chosen the series laptop right from the driver download form?

  What version of operating system XP do you have installed?
  From my own experience, you need a XP with SP2.

  Don t install SP3 before you install not XP drivers on the laptop.
  Even if the driver XP Toshiba have been installed on your laptop I would test the laptop without SP3 installed due to some compatibility problems.

  I also forgot to mention that in my device manager, I don't see my Chicony Webcam at all. There is no section for current imaging devices at all.

  I think you just need to install (or reinstall) the Dell Webcam software to solve your problem.  Here is a link to the Dell Webcam Central support article that will explain the process on how to download and install the software you need.  It seems that you need to connect to My Dell account or sign up for one to access this software because it's a licensed application.

  Let us know once you have reinstalled the Dell Webcam software if you still have problems or not, and if so, we'll see what we can offer you.

  There is no site Web Gigaware containing support or drivers for your webcam that I can find. You need technical support from Radio Shack.

  Also, I can only find mention of drivers up to and including XP that would be worth zero for Windows 7.

  My advice to you is this. If you want or need a webcam, go out and buy a new one and make sure that your choice is Logitech or Microsoft. Both companies provide excellent support products bearing their names.

  2 radio Shack PC VGA came pilot
  3. after that, install the Webcam driver in the system.
  4. installation of the Webcam Driver
  5. go into the control panel
  6. click on the system icon
  7. click on the Hardware tab
  8 then click on Device Manager
  9. Select the printer or the unknown device where yellow question marks points sign in this regard.
  10 make a right click on it and uninstall it.
  11. after that go to the top of the Device Manager and click on check for material changes.
  12 installing the driver start the wizard.
  13 brows your driver from the hard drive and click Next.
