• Card wireless & Webcam HELP! (dv9620us)

  Hello!

  I have a HP Pavilion DV9620us.  Operating system is Windows Vista Home Premium (64-bit).  Basically the jist is that my sister had improved (terribly at that) to Windows 7.  Since nothing but problems!  His sometimes would come in and out, webcam does not work and even Wi - Fi crashed on me.  One way was through an external USB adapter.

  Anyway, didn't recovery disc (also another long story).  Well, now after having read and seen all the oddities bit this device had with others who have gone to Win 7, I opted to go back to my original Windows Vista Home Premium.  It's like a brand new computer, everything seems to work like a charm.

  I had the sound and microphone to work.  It works well.  Without crashing.  No overheating.  Even the power and battery work well.  However, I can't get the model to detect the Webcam (there is not yet an option / listed in the Device Manager) and is not the wifi card.

  I need help with these two.  Especially with wifi.  (I had everything else including LightScribe work properly).

  Would the removal of the map and the relocation of the work?  If not, you should buy to replace with what card?  (I know how to do these things and am not happy to have to use a usb network adapter)

  I also installed the Suyin Crystal Eye webcam software, but the laptop doesn't always detect it.  It is not important because I never use, but would like to help with wifi!

• Satellite M200 - Chicony webcam not compatible with Skype

  Greetings!

  I have a Satellite M200 series and my Webcam Chicony works very well with YM. When I tried to use it on Skype, he'll tell me that "Skype has not found video source preferred. Webcam can be used in another application. Then I tried to move to the tools in Skype and checked the video settings, I changed the cam of default for a Chicony USB 2.0, still the same error message. The next thing I did was open the software assistant camera, but by clicking on the buttons will do nothing. I can open the device itself. So, I updated the device driver in Device Manager and the result is that I had the best and the last driver installed. Still not working in Skype.

  I think that Skype is one of the best applications to work with the webcam. I use it on the first day of purchase and there is no problem at all.
  What you can do is to restart your laptop, switch-webcam help software, start the Skype and try to configure the webcam in Skype settings again.

  What is the exact error message you get associated with Photos app?

  Earlier you got the error code 43 for the device, which means one of the motors controlling the unit notified the operating system that the device has failed in some way. In other words, that there is a possibility of defective material. We tried to uninstall and reinstall the drivers for the device, and then he worked for a while and it stopped working again. Now, I suggest you to check if the same error code is listed in the Device Manager. If she says the same error code means that the device is defective. • Microsoft LifeCam Cinema installation problems

  Try to install Microsoft LifeCam Cinema 3.5 on my home Windows XP - SP2.  Downloaded the software, but for some reason it does not recognize that the camera is connected.  I unplugged the unit and tried different USB ports, but nothing seems to work, even if we are able to download photos from our camera using the same USB ports.  Any suggestions?

• LifeCam does not?

  I have a gateway 831GM Intel (r) Pentium (r) 4 CPU 3.00 GHz 3.00 GHz, 3 GB of Ram under Windows XP 2002 SP3.  I installed Microsoft Lifecam Studio camera (part No.: Q2F-00001) and had no problems with it.  Used a Sunday for Skype and Monday when I tried to open Skype and Microsoft Lifecam the message - "there no camera connected to this computer."  I noticed that the blue on the camera lights at all.  I have disconnected the camera, reinstalled hardware, the driver updated and rebooted (all combinations of each process).  Am I missing something or is my camera old 2 months already undesirable?  As a first time - disappointed camera buyer.
