Webcam turn on

My webcam begins to turn.  I have disabled the software.  I ran every scan possible Norton.  I deleted programs that may be related.  It lights up again.  He only did it for a few weeks.  This is clearly a problem because many people keep complaining.   What is the solution?  Please don't tell me to do what I've done.

When I video chat or just use the cam, it gets a detected or turned off automatically. Sleep immediately and charge function is displayed at the top right... Anyone can sort by my problems...

    > some time, I get a message indicating that to begin with, connect a camera
Of my knowledge, the webcam module is connected to the USB motherboard controller s.
If there is a loser between the camera module and the motherboard connection, this error message may appear.

I recommend you to check the status of the webcam in Device Manager. If the webcam isn t listed, then it is certainly a problem with the connection of the webcam module.

Y at - it a trick or something to make it work? What I am doing wrong?

  • Problems with Microsoft Lifecam HD-5001

I installed the webcam above about 1 week ago and have since had problems with Skype-to-Skype calls.  Initially, I thought it was a problem with Skype, my Skype call today was ok, but the webcam turned itself, no matter how many times I turned it on!  I thought I'd try installing again, using the CD ROM that is labeled "microsoft LifeCam 3.0."  However, when I clicked on the Setup, a message came saying that a later version has already been installed?  Where should I go from here?  As you can probably, I'm a "techno-phobic", so the responses of a single syllable would be much appreciated? !!

    Hi Mitramonday,

I suggest you to uninstall all previous versions of drivers installed for the Lifecam HD 5001 by following the steps below. Unplug the appliance before you uninstall.

During the uninstallation, the device in the Device Manager, make sure that you follow the steps below:

    a. Click Start.

    b. access control panel > system > hardware > Device Manager.

    c. open Device Manager and expand the imaging device.

    d. right-click on the device Lifecam HD-5001 and uninstall the device.

During the uninstallation of the device in Device Manager, make sure that you place a tick against 'delete the driver for this device '.

Later, access the link below and download the latest drivers and firmware updates. Install it and check if it works.

  • in the latest flashplayer webcam does not work, firefox 12 turns off old flash, a beautiful!

I have installed the latest flash, like I always do, but my webcam is not working with it (a known issue at adobe)
Their solution is to install an older version of flash.
It worked well until today firefox decides to turn it off and force me to update flash.
I can decide which version to use thank you very much, please?
It's really annoying, the card has disappeared from the list, so I can't allow it even if I wanted to...

you need to install the file flashplayer11_1r102_63_win_32bit.exe from the link you posted - the ax version is the only IE (ActiveX).

It works for me on firefox 12, nothing is blocklisted or disabled here, the plugin appears in the Manager addon that Shockwave Flash 11.1.102.63.
When I perform a sweep of plugin, flash appears as outdated but not further is pronounced. the message "flash has been disabled" on the mozilla plugin check page was probably just incorrect as it is displayed by default in certain situations (see bug 633285).

If you're still having problems, I would recommend that you delete the file named blocklist.xml in your firefox profile folder and disable the plugin getplusplusadobe16263.

    Hello

The webcam can be used with programs like Skype communication where you can make a video call. Of course, there are other messengers or programs they use the webcam.

But you must install the software/driver webcam that you can use. This software can be downloaded from the official website of Toshiba (Camera Assistant Software):

    Hello

To be honest I don't understand your question. Webcam is on if use you it with an application like Skype or pre-installed Webcam application. When the cam is on the little blue light near the cam is activated.

When the application is closed cam will be off.

Please be so kind and explain your problem in more detail.

    Hello!!

Sorry for the late reply... but he tool some time to analyze all the stuff... now that I have gone through the report and read on the support sites... you Webcam is not officially windows vista supported and your drivers are in compatibility mode... That's why your drivers are giving a conflict to the USB system and the power is cut through again... the only way to stop this by changing the webcam...

but you can try to do one thing... Please go to Device Manager (-> right click computer-> properties-> Device Manager-> continue-> universal serial bus-> check each displayed items properties to check which port it shows your installed webcam and deselect the option to turn off the device to save energy...)
