WebCenter content can be integrated with Oracle iStore or Oracle EBS?

Hello

WebCenter content can be integrated with Oracle iStore (as seeds/integration without many glitches/modification) or Oracle EBS as a whole?

Thanks in advance.

Srinivas

Hi Srinivas,

Yes, ECM can be integrated with Oracle EBS (suite business enterprise) and thus other Oracle applications such as Peoplesoft, Siebel etc..

Details can be read from the following link: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/doc.1111/e17953/toc.htm

Thank you
Srinath

    Dear all,

We have AutoVue 2D which already integrated with Oracle WebCenter content. I would like to ask questions about the implementation of AutoVue 3D. This is another application that will be running side by side with the autovue 2D or is it and application that will replace the autovue 2D?

    Best regards

    Akhmad H Gumas

A replacement from one to the other is very good but the University Complutense of MADRID is not to store CAD files as it does not support a hierarchical structure required for CAD files

So you should consult your sales representative to see what are the options you have

For what is AutoVue is no problem

The integration of AutoVue with UCM will expose some limitations and it will determine how you should store the files in the Complutense University of MADRID (all the files in the same folder or use a zip file)

  • Double authentication with Oracle EBS at the APEX problem

    Hello

I am currently working on a project to integrate with Oracle EBS 12.1.3 4.2.4 APEX. We have completed the recommended white paper Oracle configuration.  I joined at the request of the APEX of a responsibility of BSE, when I click on the page of the APEX of the EBS, it navigates me to the login page of the APEX, and after I entered my credentials is to show the "No data found" error on the page. Then when I click the OK button again once he navigates me to the login page of the APEX and is validate my login information, allowing me to enter the APEX successfullly.

It's really us boring for double login controls. Appreciate your help with this problem as soon as possible.

    Deployment environment

    ===============

    Database: Oracle 11g (11.2.0.2)

    Version APEX: APEX 4.2.4

    Oracle EBS Version: R12.1.3

Application servers: Apache TomCat 7.0.56 (for APEX), Oracle HTTP Server (EBS)

Web listening port: Oracle REST Data Services (2.0.6)

Authentication: Custom authentication (login page validates users EBS)

    Thank you

    Sudhakar

It seems that the constructed URL is not allowed. We EBS do not build a valid string. You can see where he puts "CallFromForm" and then adds "& p =...". "URL.

The white paper mentions a required patch, you need else to resolve this problem.

Use the gateway FND. If you do not need to pass parameters through your form to Apex, Oracle now provides a GWY.jsp which allows you to launch the Apex. Install the patches of R12 12316083 and 12726556. Then use the GWY.jsp based on your shape as described in the white paper "Extending Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 using Oracle Application Express".

Patch 12316083 is mentioned in the white paper, you are missing the 12726556.

    Description

This bug solves the problem of pitcher APEX, at the launch of a whole page of APEX

Oracle E - Business Suite forms according to the user interface. An additional url

parameter 'CallFromForm' used to be added to the URL of the APEX, which was originally

    APEX page to fail.

  • 5.6.3 (EBS) editor XML can be integrated with APEX?

On the following document, Publisher 5.6.2 XMP supports no integration with APEX. Can I know 5.6.3? What is the product being an add-on with EBS causing the supporting integration (i.e., 5.6.3 even is not taken in charge)?

    http://www.Oracle.com/technology/products/database/application_express/HTML/configure_printing.html

    Thank you
    Rownald

APEX integrates with the standalone version of BI Publisher. It was not a component of server with the standalone 5.6.3. The integration is based on the editor providing a servlet for APEX contact, 5.6.3 do not have that.
If you're talking 5.6.3 under EBS then I guess you could build a servlet on the mid-tier that calls the API conversion of BEEP - it would all be a custom job.

The integration of the APEX needs 10.1.3.2 BEEP to work with out of the box.

  • is this what can I do with oracle?

One of our accident databases due to the failure of the drive. After the server restarts, it starts working again, but I'm not sure that whethet this problem is really related to the system disk or oracle. Because we have no access to metalink right now any help will be apprecited. Errors in the alert log file:

ORA-00221: error about writing about a control file
ORA-00206: error in writing (block 3, block # 1) of the control file
    ORA-00202: control file: ' / u01/oradata/kurumdb2/datafile/sysdbf/control03.ctl'
    ORA-27072: IO file error
    Linux-ia64 error: 5: input/output error

After we get this error, we can see the actual path of the control file but inside this path there is nothing (the control file seems absent). Of course, database locks. You need to restart the server.

My question is this: is it linked with oracle? What can I do to not have this error more?

    Kind regards

  • 11G Pivot query with Oracle EBS

    Hi all
We try to use the request function pivot 11G with Oracle E-Business Suite data. We have a database 11G installed with our Oracle APEX. We do not seem to get the pivot function to work. In short, anyone would be able to see the glaring errors in our syntax. I am not sure that it is possible to provide data of test so...

We try to have with the period column headers names SEP-08 OCT-08 NOV-08, with rows of segment2 007751 and accounted_dr as DataSet.
When we run the sql code we get an error ORA-00904: "PERIOD_NAME": invalid identifier.

Any help or idea would be greatly appreciated.

Do not use GROUP BY. When you use PIVOT, the group is involved with what is in the PIVOT clause and which is not.
    Try this:

    select *
    from (
           select segment2
           , accounted_dr
           , period_name
           from gl_je_lines a
           , gl_code_combinations b
           where b.code_combination_id = a.code_combination_id
           and segment2 = '007751'
           )
    pivot (
           sum (accounted_dr)
           for period_name in ('SEP-08','OCT-08','NOV-08')
           )
    ;

which is just your query validated without the GROUP BY clause.

  • C# DLL can be integrated with a LabWindows project?

    Hello

I joined C++ dll in LabWindows projects before, but recently I received a c# project that I would use instead of deconstructing the source and rebuild in C++.

Is it possible to do this and if so what are the differences between C++ and c# integration? Or I'm looking for at least a C++ wrapper?

CVI 'easily' can interface to assemblies created in c# .NET. The .NET controller Wizard (Tools |) Create a controller .NET...) can be used to generate the necessary interface for each assembly code.

    Hi all

I have an EBS 12.1.1 installation of windows (with database demo of vision) and I would like to have a graphical tool (instead of sqlplus) to browse the database of the ebs. What tool do you offer me?

I tried sqldeveloper oracle (version 2.1.1.64.39) but I do not know what settings should I use to get a valid connection.

I can enter the following data:

    User (I tried the system)
    Password (I tried the Manager)
(Basic, SYSDBA) role (I tried both)
ConnectionType (Basic, TNS, LDAP, advanced) (I tried Basic and TNS)
Host name (I tried EBS1-> our hostname)
    Port (I tried 1521)
SID or ServiceName (I tried SCREWS)

    But the result is:
Oracle-01034: ORACLE not availableORA-27101: there is no shared memory realm

Because I can connect via the web, the db should be running...

What else could be the problem?

All Oracle services I could find are running (except OracleJobSchedulerVIS). Still no web EBS possible connection are where all the scripts needed to run? How looks like a "departure from normal EBS? Is there a 'start' main script that triggers all the processes and services?
