  About 2 days ago my laptop not able to connect to the internet with wireless on, a brand of red x on the computer icon in the bottom right. " I check services and found DHCP stopped running, I tried to start it manually, it shows "Windows didn't start the DHCP Client service on Local computer." Error 5:Access is denied. "I did ' sfc/scannow' and found no errors.
  I use a laptop from my friend and it works great! So there is nothing wrong with the router but my own laptop. My laptop runs windows Vista editions Home Premium with Service Pack 2.

  This message prevented me to connect to my laptop for my network domestic wi - fi.  I've tried a few things, reset the INVESTIGATION period, restart the client DHCP, the system restore, but none of them worked.  Most of the services that I could not gave me the same message, unless noted as error 1068.  Any help would be appreciated, I would avoid reinstalling Vista if possible.

  Note: My Xbox and iPhone are connected to my wireless network, my desktop computer is connected to the router with no problem.

  Thank you for your message.  Another option is running the System File Checker.

  To run the System File Checker tool, follow these steps:

  1. click on start to reduce this includes this image and then type cmd in the box start the search .

  2 right-click cmd in the programs list and then click run as administrator. Collapse this includes this image if you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click continue

  3. at the command prompt, the following line, and then press ENTER:

• The OCSP server has no status for the certificate

  From just today, whenever I try to access www.fanfiction.net, I get this error message from FF: -.

  I already tried removing the Cert8.db and Secmod.db and uncheck only the two OCSP parameters d ' option in advance. Neither work. The site is accessible to any other browser so it's really Firefox question.

  Need advice on how to fix this ASAP.

  the issue seems to have been fixed by the site already, you can go ahead and give security.ssl.enable_ocsp_stapling to true.

  The General mantra in the physical world goes as follows:

  For optimal performance, you need to separate logs and database of transactions on different physical disks (e.g. disks) stacks.

  
  

  This general concept applies naturally agnostically to virtual workloads as well. It essentially translates to:

  For performance, you should put the files of database transactions on various resident on different LUNS VMDK or use separate RDM. You should also use a separate vSCSI controller to each VMDK/RDM as the controller has its own IO queue.

  There is a point more important which is often neglected in the physical and virtual world in particular:

  Ideally, you should make sure that your physical LUN for logs and DB are not a group of common disk same stacks of physical disks. This violates the general concept above.

• Cann't open web access, ssh connection between host and bridged the VM in network mode

  I have a VMware workstartion 7.0 is installed on a machine XP 64 (192.168.2.44). I have the following virtual machines.

  1 ESX 4.0 (192.168.2.42)

  2 ESX 3.5 (192.168.2.38)

  3. windows server 2003 with vCenter installed. (192.168.2.100)

  4. Windows server 2003 with the roles of DNS and DC. (192.168.2.101)

  I am trying to connect to vCenter or ESX VM of the XP hosting web interface. However I can't get through. but I can ping and I can also telnet to ports 443, 80. Even I can't ssh connection. When I use putty, it is actually connected but no response from the ssh server. Looks like the network connection is there, somehow the server process responds simply not properly once the connection is established.

  BTW, all of them use bridged network, they all 192.168.2.x IPs. I can connect to vCenter, ESX web interface from another computer without problem.

  Just wonder if anyone else has experienced this before. I have tried to search the forum, did not find a similar question.

  exactly. Details have recently been examined here: {: identifier of the thread = 1955437}. You will find the link to the license document it.
  But OSH is not only registered with the database. If you have an OAS running somewhere, you can use the HTTP server that comes with this instance for APEX as well.

  Another option could be the APEX listener that runs on (almost) any J2EE container. The officially supported include the embedded GlassFish and the Open Source Edition of GlassFish, who both don't need no extra license.
