WebLogic domain using install Jdev

I intend to create a development environment by creating a user using Jdeveloper integrated weblogic server's weblogic domain. I was wondering is there any problem with this approach? Or I need to download the weblogic server and configure the ADF runtime it contains?

Thank you
Bastien

Bastien,

It's pretty simple:

If you use JDev 11.1.1.3 => use WLS 10.3.3 and developing Application 11.1.1.3 CD (it's a patch, you must first use 11.1.1.2).

Steps to follow:

(1) install WLS
(2) install App Dev 11.1.1.2
(3) install App Dev 11.1.1.3
(4) create the domain, be sure to check JRF on the parts page.

  • Question of the implementation of the duration of the ADF: create vs Extend WebLogic Domain

    People,

Hello. I have implemented PeopleSoft Campus Solution 9.0 revision 5 for a University.

I need to develop web applications 2 for 2 user types to log in to PeopleSoft Campus Solution and apply for Admission online for future student to apply for admission.

My installations of PeopleSoft are below:

Server machine: Oracle Linux 5.10 (64-bit)

Client computer: Windows XP Professional (64 edition) with the Internet Explorer browser

Architecture Internet Oracle Linux 5.10 Server:

    (1) database server: Oracle Database 11 g version 11.1.0.6.0 is

    (2) the server application: Tuxedo 11 g

    3) web server: logic of Web 10.3.6.0

    (4) browser: Firefox Mozila

    (5) two Instances of huge database on the database server: 8.53 PeopleTools and Campus Solution 9.0.

In order to develop the application for Admission online and 2 pages of Web connection, I need to make 3 parts below:

    (1) ADR installation (Application Development, Runtime) 11.1.1.6.0 (64-bit)

    (2) install the RCU 11.1.1.6.0 to create the scheme of OWSM_MDS (32 bit)

    (3) create or expand the WebLogic domain

I installed RCU 11.1.1.6.0 (32 bit) and Oracle ADR 11.1.1.6.0 (64-Bit) with Weblogic 10.3.6.0 in machine Server Oracle Linux 5.1 with success. Now, I need to create or extend the WebLogic domain. I don't know whether to expand the existing domain or create a new domain.

The Web server is running properly. There is only a single domain (mydomain). I need to develop 3 ADF web application as below:

    (1) admission application online

    (2) request for Login to student registration

    (3) Faculty and staff Login request

    My questions are:

    (1) may extend the existing domain (mydomain) to develop the 3 possibilities of use in the ADF?

    (2) may I create 3 new domain for 3 Applications (domain_Admin, domain_student, domain_faculty)?

    (3) where one is better? create or extend?

    Thanks in advance

Delete the section network-point of access (both) and try to start again.

Reinstalled Jdeveloper, formatted my system did not work. Different version of JDeveloper also gives the same error in my system.

One thing when I go to the folder structure, I can see the default domain contains only the config folder. The rest are missing.

Also, I have all the rights of administrator on all folders/subfolders. I can create a separate domain and run the weblogic. But I can't start the new instance of JDeveloper. I get the same error.

    Hello

    Welcome to OTN.

    You can try the following.
    1. close JDev.
2 remove the DefaultDomain file under your [url http://tompeez.wordpress.com/tag/system-folder/] file system.
    3. launch JDev
    4. run your jspx page.

I think it's because of the 5566 port is not available, but I don't know how solve it, someone help me please? Thank you very much.

    You can use

    netstat -ap|grep 5556

to check which process is using port 5556. An example of output is the following:
    TCP 0 0: 5556 *: * LISTEN 4858/java
The last column shows the pid and process what it is (in this case a java process)

For more information the process, you can use

    ps -ef|grep java

An example of output is the following:
    Oracle 4858 4835 7 12:09 pts/2 00:00:03 /home/oracle/bea/jrrt-4.0.1-1.6.0/bin/java jrockit-Xms128m-Xmx256m - Xverify: weblogic aucun-Djava.security.policy=/home/oracle/bea/wlserver_10.3/server/lib/weblogic.policy-Dweblogic.nodemanager.javaHome=/home/oracle/bea/jrrt-4.0.1-1.6.0. NodeManager - v
In this case the Nodemanager uses port 5556.

You can stop the process using kill-9 4858 (4858 being the process id - could be different in your case).

We you run Setup (/wlserver_10.3/common/bin config.sh) there is an option to edit
setting up your environment (select optional configuration). Here you can change the settings of managed servers,
clusters and machines so check this box on the screen. It is a screen to configure the servers managed in which you
can change the settings of the managed servers to create (for example listening ports). In the next step, you can configure

clusters (and subsequently to add servers to the cluster). When you click Next, you are offered the machine configuration
screen, in which you can set the parameters of the machines. For each machine, you can configure a nodemanager thanks to the
parameters nodemanager listening address and port to listen nodemanager. The last parameter, you can change a port number
that is not already taken on your system.

I even tried to create a new domain using the Weblogic configuration wizard but don't know where to put the new domain in Jdeveloper as my default connection.

I would be grateful if someone can help me... Also, I am on Windows 7 and re-installation of the jdeveloper did not help

The original error that you hit is a known issue with the creation of the field of Integrated Weblogic Server with Windows 7. You are probably on this question with the help of Windows 7. The problem is fixed in our next release. We are looking to determine if we can or will try to patch the question for 11.1.1.1.0.

It's a question of jython (2012 is not supported in the windows configuration). I found the solution.

Not that everyone believes never used Oracle when they say "it works for me", but "it works for me.  I installed with 10.9.3 with installed 1.7.0_60 (and have then been improved to 10.9.4).

Sten, first of all, say the log file?

As a result, you can try 3 things from the command line:

    (1) run "shasum. ' / jdev_suite_121300.jar ' this should return the following checksum to prove the validity of your file: 5233616b752658c948230b1a8ed366205b36d807

    (2) run "jar - tvf. ' / jdev_suite_121300.jar ' to see if it is still valid in the perspective of utilities of pot.

    (3) finally also try the following instead of install the pot:

    / usr/libexec/JAVA_HOME - version 1.7.0 - java exec-jar. /.jar

Let us know how you fly.

See if this link helps to WLS 10.x: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12840_01/common/docs103/tempbuild/index.html. The steps are pretty much same for any area, except for portal area there may be a few extra pots. The best way is first to create a domain using the Config Wizard. Then export this area in a model. Later on different mahcines or same machine, create the areas using this model exported.

    Thank you

  • Newbie need help with setting up new WebLogic domain

Installed ALBMP for WebLogic Enterprise on a distribution SUSE Linux running on VMWare. Installation completed successfully and works through the configuration of the installation via the Configuration Wizard. I have problems creating a new WebLogic domain. He throws it toward the high "WebLogic invalid Home" when I try to enter any path directory for this field. He won't let me leave this field empty. Can anyone help? I am running version ALBPM 6.0 M3.

    Thank you.

Which way you give? a valid weblogic House is F:\bea102\wlserver_10.0 under windows. I think that you not include the wlserver directory.
