• DPS PRO monthly edition issues

  Hello

  I have a client who needs to get a digital publication on the store of apple, android, and windows.

  DPS Pro and its characteristics would be perfect. The annual cost is too expensive for the customer because there is only a single sheet.

  So I have a few questions related to the monthly subscription:

  1 can I buy for just a month, and the month download the folio?

  2. the application will remain on stores after the month is up?

  3. don't Analytics register only during the month of the subscription?

  4. If we wanted to add another folio this year could us buys another monthly subscription to the stores?

  5. when it is subjected to the stores is it possible of lets say to the apple store to make it appear like a native app rather appear in kiosks?

  I am aware it would also buy folio fresh bundles of download.

  1/2/3/4: the application will remain in the store, as long that leave you there, but you must maintain an active subscription DPS Pro for downloads to work. If you end your subscription immediately after downloading a folio your readers will not be able to download the leaflet inside the app.

  5. Yes, you can choose if it is on newsstands or just a regular application.

• DPS Pro price questions

  I am writing hoping to clarify questions regarding the * new * (MAY 2014) policies on DPS pro. Our rate monthly put to a low of £282 per month since (from the original £346,86) and we have not added any new Apps since. Currently, we have only two applications multi-folio.

  As we understand it, read the Adobe support forums, as "prior to may 2014' clients, we are allowed to keep those two apps below the £282 per month and get an additional free multi-folio app, but all the extra apps will have to be paid separately on their own DPS PRO Edition (extra £282 per month). Is this correct? , Which is a 'new' app? The upgrade of our current multi-folio applications will count as a 'new' app?

  We ask because our bundle of folio of last year has expired and we were wondering if we need to buy the bundle folio 1 000 (which would be enough for our two applications). Or if the upgrade of our applications under the new conditions means we will have to now two DPS PRO editions and will be charged for each application individually (with 1,000 for each application already included folios).

  Under the new Pro license, you can keep your two existing applications and update them. You can also add a third new application under the same Pro license. If you want to add a fourth app, you will need a new Pro license.

• Folio only app with DPS PRO

  I have a dps Pro account.

  I would like to create an app unique folio for iOS (iphone-iPad) and android devices that it will be free.

  I know that single folio app can be created for iOS, and in this case there is a fee for the realization of folio. Is this correct?

  For the android version can I create a single folio app? As I see that I think that's not possible. Is this correct? In this case is there anything else I could do? For example if I create a folio multi app and I download folio as a single will that work? In this case the fees payable for the realization of folio exist?

  Edition simple apps are iPad only and do not incur a charge to download. For Android, you need to create a multifolio app, even if it contains only a single folio.

• What is the new DPS Pro price structure implimented?

  I'm about to buy DPS Pro but not sure if I should hold off until the price of the island are updated?

  I heard that the price on the product page will be updated next Monday back.

  In addition, Pro annual subscription has been reduced to $400 per month, but the monthly Pro pricing has not changed.

  We are a small design firm and have planned the launch 3 different mags next year. Each Folio journal will question 4 a year. My question is: there are 3 DPS pro account? Or we can publish the 3 Mags with one?

  You need only 1 DPS account.

  But you should submit (potentially) 3 store apps from the app for Apple approval.  Unless you're going to create (1) main application that would house 3 different magazines.

  You also want to create different Adobe ID so you can capture your stats/Analytics for these magazines.

  I have a Pro DPS account on which I joined on 18 November 2013.

  It is a monthly subscription.

  When I registered on the program I could create an unlimited application under this account. So far, I have create and download a folio multi android app.

  After the latest changes on the policy of your company, I am a bit confused and I would like to know if until November 2014, I can always download an other apps on this account? Can I use the same account for a second application? The new policy includes new subscribers on DPS after March 14?

  Yes, you can create another application with the Pro account. And adding a same application to another store is not considered to be a different application.

  The new policy is reserved for existing Pro customers, not new subscribers.

  I just uploaded a new free issue of a journal in a Pro of DPS app, now I realize that I don't know the procedure for doing the same thing on the game of Google. I searched the documentation, but no results on this subject at the moment.

  Does anyone have a .pdf guide or suggestion on this subject?

  Which are the steps to publish the new .folio on the Google game, the first .folio has been already downloaded because it was when I created the application at the beginning stage, but the next?

  Do not use the same values of product ID for different folios that are not part of a package of refunds.

  When you look at the DPS analytical Pro with my reseller account DPS, you get the basic information such as:

  -downloaded Folio

  -cancellation of the folio

  etc.

  Shares so basically measurable.

  But the second part of this has to do with content like:

  -ads that were read

  -What items have been read

  -How video have been read

  -What overlay is the most popular, etc.

  But I want to know, when viewing an article 'account' in analytics?

  for example: if I want to get to article 5 and scroll from article 3 article 5 (so I do not use the table of contents), article 4 Gets a 'hit' in the analytical page? Is there a minimum look at a period (for example 5 seconds?) necessary before an article gets a number greater than viewing?

  Any view page generates a hit to Analytics. So, Yes, quickly flipping between pages 3, 4 and 5, to go to page 5 generates the same value analytical as navigation between pages 3, 4 and 5 reading completely all the content of these pages. The value, I think you are looking for is dwell (the amount of time an average user spends on a page) page. Which is currently available via the Site Catalyst, not the base level analytics. I have plans to improve the analytical base to add additional cards to linger, total time spent on the page, average time spent on the page and other important pieces of information. I don't have an ETA when these additional graphics will be available.

  I am also looking to add a new measure of page County who don't shoot until a user spent anywhere from 3 to 5 seconds on a page vs just flipping to navigate to the next page.

  What a unique folio application. One of my clients would like to publish a medical guide for specific drugs.

  To prepare a folio (with 10 items inside). If I publish it... Each download of the app will be counted as a download bundle right folio?

  One question requests do not download fees incur.  In the case of a mag one question, the entire application (including the one and only folio) are uploaded to Apple for inclusion in the App Store.  Any time a user buys and downloads the application, the files come directly from Apple.  Therefore, Adobe won't charge you for this.

  In a multi-question application, each folio is downloaded from Adobe to download credits will be used.

  Also, I'm curious how Apple is going to file my application if it is something like a manual for a drug... It will be available via the kiosk?

  If you want to activate your kiosk application or not is up to the developer.  Only applications for several questions may be included in the newsstand, however.

  My last question is to update an application already published on the appstore! Let's say that there are terrible typo in the project and I need to publish... Is this something easily possible?

  The user will be able to re-download the application fairly easily? He be warned that a new version is available?

  My understanding is that fixing typos or other errors can be done easily with a single issue applications.  The update appears in the section updates the App Store application on the device, as well as in iTunes under App updates.

  The way I understand it is that if you buy the only Application from Adobe for $395, you will be able to create an application with a single folio inside.  If you need to fix the errors, you will be allowed to do so, but you will not be able to add new features to the app.

  With a subscription (professional or Enterprise), you are able to create as many applications as you want, then it goes without saying that you can continue to update your application to the content of your heart as long as the subscription has been released.

  As a freelance designer/sole trader, is there a reason why I wouldn't be able to subscribe to products either the professional or business? I have clients who will need me publish on several platforms and also closed groups of members or employees, so you need to upgrade?

  It seems impossible to buy Adobe DPS pro edition - I tried to contact our support and that you have been redirected back between the sales and support with no luck. Their last suggestion is to use a DPS contact form and someone will contact me within the next 24 hours - I did it for 2 days

  I also tried a Latvian company, that has been suggested to buy customer support, but they said they don't sell DPS.

  My only option is really just waiting and hoping that someone make contact with me?

  You can buy Pro one of these dealers, although they will push for your buy Enterprise. Good luck!

  Hey there,

  I'm a little confused now, because of outdated information.

  I need to get a few things straight about the DPS pro edition.

  I work for a company that currently has a pro (at least to my knowledge) license.

  I know that the only edition was droped.

  It is true that now the professional edition has also been droped and everything is focused on the app? So the more applications, more we will pay, right?

  Customers who purchase Professional Edition annual pay platform and folio bundle download through purchase order, which may be preferable for large organizations. They receive also 5 000 download free .folio for the first year of service.
