• DPS PRO monthly edition issues

  I have a client who needs to get a digital publication on the store of apple, android, and windows.

  DPS Pro and its characteristics would be perfect. The annual cost is too expensive for the customer because there is only a single sheet.

  So I have a few questions related to the monthly subscription:

  1 can I buy for just a month, and the month download the folio?

  2. the application will remain on stores after the month is up?

  3. don't Analytics register only during the month of the subscription?

  4. If we wanted to add another folio this year could us buys another monthly subscription to the stores?

  5. when it is subjected to the stores is it possible of lets say to the apple store to make it appear like a native app rather appear in kiosks?

  I am aware it would also buy folio fresh bundles of download.

  1/2/3/4: the application will remain in the store, as long that leave you there, but you must maintain an active subscription DPS Pro for downloads to work. If you end your subscription immediately after downloading a folio your readers will not be able to download the leaflet inside the app.

  5. Yes, you can choose if it is on newsstands or just a regular application.

  We are a small design firm and have planned the launch 3 different mags next year. Each Folio journal will question 4 a year. My question is: there are 3 DPS pro account? Or we can publish the 3 Mags with one?

  You need only 1 DPS account.

  But you should submit (potentially) 3 store apps from the app for Apple approval.  Unless you're going to create (1) main application that would house 3 different magazines.

  You also want to create different Adobe ID so you can capture your stats/Analytics for these magazines.

  I'm a little confused now, because of outdated information.

  I need to get a few things straight about the DPS pro edition.

  I work for a company that currently has a pro (at least to my knowledge) license.

  I know that the only edition was droped.

  It is true that now the professional edition has also been droped and everything is focused on the app? So the more applications, more we will pay, right?

  Hello, it is possible to have the webviewer in the Professional license? I have a client who needs this feature but you don't have the budget for the company. If it's slightly more expensive, than to have this feature would be more possible to buy for him.

• Folio only app with DPS PRO

  I have a dps Pro account.

  I would like to create an app unique folio for iOS (iphone-iPad) and android devices that it will be free.

  I know that single folio app can be created for iOS, and in this case there is a fee for the realization of folio. Is this correct?

  For the android version can I create a single folio app? As I see that I think that's not possible. Is this correct? In this case is there anything else I could do? For example if I create a folio multi app and I download folio as a single will that work? In this case the fees payable for the realization of folio exist?

  Edition simple apps are iPad only and do not incur a charge to download. For Android, you need to create a multifolio app, even if it contains only a single folio.

• Satellite Pro 4220; Question on price

  As I remember it came out November 1999!

  But unfortunately, I have not found any price! I think that it of not possible to say what cost this laptop.
  Notebook dealers create portable final price and it depends on many factors such as country, supply and demand, etc...!

  But maybe a few grandmothers and grandfathers could recall the price ;)

  We work with the trial version for a few weeks now, and we think about moving to the professional edition!

  But I'm confused on the beam of .folio term download... What is?

  With the Professional Edition monthly US$ 495 (monthly subscription) platform , we get:

  Pretty clear!

  • Includes free 5,000 (annual) or 250 (monthly) files .folio with the first year of service

  So I have only 250 Folio inside my DPS account?

  • A fresh package - fresh download .folio to deliver and make publications on several platforms and supported devices whenever a user downloads a file .folio

  I'm lost... Each count as a folio bundle download? Or does each publication?

  What a unique folio application. One of my clients would like to publish a medical guide for specific drugs.

  To prepare a folio (with 10 items inside). If I publish it... Each download of the app will be counted as a download bundle right folio?

  One question requests do not download fees incur.  In the case of a mag one question, the entire application (including the one and only folio) are uploaded to Apple for inclusion in the App Store.  Any time a user buys and downloads the application, the files come directly from Apple.  Therefore, Adobe won't charge you for this.

  In a multi-question application, each folio is downloaded from Adobe to download credits will be used.

  Also, I'm curious how Apple is going to file my application if it is something like a manual for a drug... It will be available via the kiosk?

  If you want to activate your kiosk application or not is up to the developer.  Only applications for several questions may be included in the newsstand, however.

  My last question is to update an application already published on the appstore! Let's say that there are terrible typo in the project and I need to publish... Is this something easily possible?

  The user will be able to re-download the application fairly easily? He be warned that a new version is available?

  My understanding is that fixing typos or other errors can be done easily with a single issue applications.  The update appears in the section updates the App Store application on the device, as well as in iTunes under App updates.

  The way I understand it is that if you buy the only Application from Adobe for $395, you will be able to create an application with a single folio inside.  If you need to fix the errors, you will be allowed to do so, but you will not be able to add new features to the app.

  With a subscription (professional or Enterprise), you are able to create as many applications as you want, then it goes without saying that you can continue to update your application to the content of your heart as long as the subscription has been released.

• Analytical interpretation DPS Pro

  When you look at the DPS analytical Pro with my reseller account DPS, you get the basic information such as:

  -downloaded Folio

  -cancellation of the folio

  etc.

  Shares so basically measurable.

  But the second part of this has to do with content like:

  -ads that were read

  -What items have been read

  -How video have been read

  -What overlay is the most popular, etc.

  But I want to know, when viewing an article 'account' in analytics?

  for example: if I want to get to article 5 and scroll from article 3 article 5 (so I do not use the table of contents), article 4 Gets a 'hit' in the analytical page? Is there a minimum look at a period (for example 5 seconds?) necessary before an article gets a number greater than viewing?

  Any view page generates a hit to Analytics. So, Yes, quickly flipping between pages 3, 4 and 5, to go to page 5 generates the same value analytical as navigation between pages 3, 4 and 5 reading completely all the content of these pages. The value, I think you are looking for is dwell (the amount of time an average user spends on a page) page. Which is currently available via the Site Catalyst, not the base level analytics. I have plans to improve the analytical base to add additional cards to linger, total time spent on the page, average time spent on the page and other important pieces of information. I don't have an ETA when these additional graphics will be available.

  I am also looking to add a new measure of page County who don't shoot until a user spent anywhere from 3 to 5 seconds on a page vs just flipping to navigate to the next page.

• MacBook Pro with question mark inside a folder after fix

  So I have Macbook Pro 2012 13 "with a 500GB SSD and 8 GB of ram. In may, my computer would not boot into the operating system without previous indications of possible failure. It would display an exclamation mark inside a folder at startup (later, I thought means that the hard drive is a problem). I took it to Apple-authorized repair Tech on my campus and they were unable to understand the source of the problem, but said it was possible that my OS has been corrupted. After some searching myself, I started to think it was the TRIM bug which has been a known issue with Samsung. Samsung has gladly replaced my hard drive. I have connected the new hard drive and I fell again on the same issue. I started to consider the water of the hard drive has been the question... So I replaced that and was able to start again! Fast forward to today, several months later, and I have the same problem. However, now I can start in the OS sometimes while sometimes it will show the flashing icon. If the hard drive ribbon cable I bought was of bad quality, or that would indicate a bigger, more serious problem? I'm confused as to how to proceed to solve this problem. Any help is greatly appreciated!

  Yes, I suspect a problem with the new ribbon cable or its connection to the logic board.

• Satellite Pro M70: Question on the port on the left hand side

  Another question regarding the Pro M70 PSM75E, next to the hard drive (left side) there is a port which you can take off. I took it of and it looks like a chip grafx or something: s someone with the M70 not what it is.

  Well, there are of many Satellite Pro M70. It s a great series.
  But for example Satellite Pro M70-110 has a PCMCIA Type II slot.
  You can use the different PCMICA card in this slot. But they must be compatible.
  I guess this slot machine, you found a plastic Board. This is only for security.

  However, if you want to learn more about your device, I would recommend reading the user manual which must be preinstalled on your laptop. You will find very, very, very ;) useful information.

  recently, I replaced my battery in my macbook pro (late 2011) with an official replacement battery, I was wondering if one fell on the following question...

  almost everytime I disconnect my charger magsafe, it cuts the power rather than switch to battery power my macbook pro, I did MSC resets, resets of vram and recently diagnosed

  error code I got from the trial of the aht has been ' 4xxx/6/40000005: 0... 'battery' '...

  I'm not sure what it actually means if its my battery or battery sensor etc...

  wondering if anyone knows how to solve my problem?

  Apart from this question my mac works perfectly fine running on the power adapter

  If you had Apple install the battery, it should have a one year warranty.  Make an appointment with an Apple store genius bar and have examined the MBP. Even out of warranty, the assessment will be free.

  I have several printers HP Color Laser Jet Pro 500 (M570dw) with a few questions.

  -It is capable of printing, copying and scanning, but it keeps showing the error "the product is impossible to calibrate" - I have recheck glass, ADF, open it, clean the scanner, the white surface. And still nothing.

  -L' other printer is givving me error 51,30

  The problem was with the top of the charger ADF page. So I replace the top cover by another. NA not had time to look inside and find the problem

• More OfficeJet Pro 8600 - Question scan

  I recently bought a new HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus printer.  When I scan a document, it is automatically saved in the folder "My Documents" on my PC.  Is it possible to redirect the scans to another folder?

  You can change the target to be analyzed as follows:

  1. From the desktop, click the HP Officejet Pro 8600 .
  2. In the framework Of Actions of Scanner, click scan a Document or Photo.
  3. Select the shortcut used to scan from the left pane, and then click Advanced settings.
  4. Enter the Destination tab.
  5. Click Browse, select the target location to save, and click OK.
  6. Close a window of the HP software and try scanning using the modified shortcut, the analysis should be save into the configured location.
