Hi all, the above code goes through files in an img file in the current folder of my application.

There is in fact only a file named Animal.png in the folder, but it always returns three files, namely

    1 Animal.png

    2. a weird file named . .

3 and another weird file .

    Someone knows why? Thank you...

I don't know why this isn't turning them when there is no files in the folder, but you can use dir.setFilter (flags) to filter. Here is a list of possible indicators:

    http://Qt-project.org/doc/Qt-4.8/QDir.HTML#filter-enum

Combine indicators by OR - ing them together, for example:

    dir.setFlags(QDir::Files |) QDir::NoDotAndDotDot);

QDir::NoDotAndDotDot is not even necessary if you are a QDir::Files request. This should work as well:

    dir.setFlags (QDir::Files);

  • How can I import and export MBOX files in Thunderbird?

Hi all, how can I import and export MBOX files in Thunderbird?

I tried to install the add-on "ImportExportTools" but it seems that it is no longer recognized by Thunderbird, not the most recent generation.

That this is the case, is no longer seems to be any official method of handling the files MBOX via Thunderbird, which is odd, given that Thunderbird itself announces that it is method of storage of email records is also MBOX files. It seems obvious that Thunderbird should natively support a file format import and export it is used internally

If you know of a solution that does not rely on the conversion of traditionally third party utilities little reliable, please let me know.

    Thank you, KB_IT

Hi there and thank you. I got it on 45.2.0.

"" I haven't managed to make it work, but only by the search for available modules and following a request from 'import export tools' the "see all results" that work only then produced a success for the plugin in question and showed a button to install it.

Installers hosted on the site of the third party do not work, nor their instructions to use the option "install file". work, which led to the creation of this ticket.

Since then, I was able to do properly installed where it works very well.

I hope that they are a regular feature. I intend to announce this as a best practice to my organization, in collaboration with Google fish, during the handling of the mbox files in Windows operating system.

    Thanks again, Kevin

  • How can I migrate the Juno client files to Thunderbird?

Years, I have used Juno client applications, dating back perhaps to their debut.

Of course, they went from "shapefiles" strictly ASCII in this boring BDBish format.

I have juno5bdb, but don't know what output format they use is compatible with the current "Bird and could not find an import feature in ' bird to complete the process."

Juno is not a facility to freely transfer things between the client and webmail, so the recent solution you have for someone who wants to migrate its former webmail messages does not apply to me.

I hesitate to use Thunderbird, until I can look at my Juno-client messages in it, but I'm afraid I'll have to pass each and every message stored, that would take time to helluvalong and where there is no way for me to go back.

Thunderbird uses the mbox mail storage format.
You can use this module to import mbox files.

  • What is the maximum number of messages/files that Thunderbird can handle?

I plan to migrate from Outlook (2007) to Thunderbird (on a PC MsWin7 - Ultimate 64-bit). Unfortunately, I have a lot of historical emails that I still have and periodically reference; Currently, these are several PST files. Reading some of your prior support questions, I discovered that Thunderbird use monolithic mail a database, apparently mapped in the structure of normal file/folder of the operating system (i.e., anything that the user selectable, as supply of PST files); but that Thunderbird will suck in all messages from Outlook PST files during installation, assuming that all of him are open at the time of the installation of Thunderbird (?).

QUESTION: Which is the case, is there the ALL LIMITS on the number of files or messages that Thunderbird can handle?

No, I really am aware, other than the available disk space on the computer.

The limit of 4 GB (per folder) on local files was lifted, but I don't know that I hope the fix. SO think 4 GB as a limit on the size of the folder.

I'm not aware of any practical limit to the number of accounts. I've heard hundreds and dozens of personally.

I guess that the file system file size limit still applies, but because it is in windows 7 from 16 to 256 TB in Windows 8, I don't think it's really a matter of concern. (I have not heard a single hard drive this size still).

With optional mailDir structure to store messages in Thunderbird 38 (a mail a file), then even this limit is theoretical, otherwise than for the overall index and the index file. Note that this is an option for 'New' accounts, those not imported and is not the default.

  • Failed to install a certificate (.p12 file). Thunderbird keeps asking me the password.

    Hello

I'm running Thunderbird 31.5.0 on Windows 8.1. Trying to install a certificate (Options-> advanced-> Certificates-> view certificates-> import), the Certificate Manager brings me a master password (as expected), who is never accepted. No matter what I'm typing, the password prompt will appear again and so will never install the certificate. This product for .p12 as .pfx files.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Problem solved. If someone stumbles across this post, I couldn't make it work because it was not sufficiently clear that Thunderbird has been asked for the password master and not the password to import the certificate.

If you have set a master password (recommended), you will need to enter (if you have not already in the same session) before you can import a certificate.

  • I transferred files from Thunderbird to new computer using easy transfer but old local files not shown.

I read the answers to the previous questions on this subject and can't seem to get anywhere. I can not find
    C:\Users\Windows user name\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\Profile name\
like under my username on my C drive I have no folder called "AppData" and "Roaming" contains only a folder "Intel."

See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-tb#w_how-to-find-your-profile to locate your profile. Then using your file Explorer look in this same directory to see if you have all the other profiles as well. The profiles have a file name of the default shape

  • How can I import a vcf file in Thunderbird address book?

I have a couple hundred contacts on my iPhone and want to get in Thunderbird as some e-mails are much faster using a PC, as opposed to the iPhone. I can get the iCloud contacts in a single .vcf file but cannot find a way to bring them into Thunderbird. Thanks for any help you can give me.

The first thing to try is to click the icon of hamburger (3 bars), tools/import... ... Address book vCard file, and then select the .vcf file. Open address book and see if the new address book seems OK.

  • Where are my files of Thunderbird addresses?

I've migrated to a new computer. I exported my address book in ldif file. I imported the file into my new program Thunderbird. Only one of my (home) address records came through. My "Collected addresses" folder is always empty. Each file should be exported separately? I still have my old drive. Can it be retrieved from my old drive?

Find the file history.mab (collected addresses) in the old profile folder and copy it to the profile folder. Select help/troubleshooting information, click display folder, out TB and then to perform the copy operation.

  • import the .pst file into Thunderbird that contains the addresses of exported Outlook

I have a .pst on my PC file exported from Outlook that contains all my addresses. How to import in Thunderbird?

I tried earlier import Addressen Outlook into Thunderbird address book, but it does not invite:

There is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot meet demand for Messaging. Outlook has been at this point in time, my e-mail defauls client.

I hope I made myself understood

    The usual method:
set Outlook as the default e-mail client

    then in thundrbird:
    Tools > import
Select: address books and click Next
    Select: Outlook and click Next

    Otherwise:
    In Outlook
Export the address book to a .csv file

    Then in Thunderbird
    Tools > import
Select: address books and click Next
Select: text file (Ldif, .tabtable, .csv, .txt) and click Next
Find the registered .csv file and click Open
You may need to map the fields.

  • What is in the files of thunderbird cache

I use an app, CCleaner. One of the options is to delete the cache of Thunderbird. What is contained in these files and can they be deleted regularly and do not affect e-mail history and access?

I'm still not clear on what 'web' content could be associated with my email files?

I suppose you have heard of HTML email? A message can contain images dynamically loaded from a server, as opposed to the attached to the message.
Another example are the elements, which are essentially web pages to RSS feeds.

I understand the cache when related to Firefox

WRT hide Thunderbird is no different than Firefox.

When clearing the cache in Thunderbird files, what is affected?

Well, you clear the items being cached, which must then be recharged if you access once more. It's really the same thing with Firefox.
In case it helps to understand, Thunderbird has basically the same functionality built as a Firefox browsing web.

  • Move the files of Thunderbird to Windows Mail

I searched high and low for a solution to my problem. Nothing that I find works for me. I used Windows Mail in the past but had problems, but I hope they have been corrected. I moved to Thunderbird and now I want to move my emails to WM. I can't find something that works. I have several email addresses in Thunderbird which is separate files, some people have folders within them.

Is there a simple solution on how to import my mails from Thunderbird to Windows Mail?

You can upgrade to Windows Live Mail; Windows Mail has been abandoned with no other work for him (and probably has the same issues you encountered earlier).  WLM uses sets of folder for each account, not mising as with WM.

  • Weird file Association problem

I have a new and unusual file association problem.  At the start, whenever the PC is turned on, this file association window opens:

Here's the weird part: "Remy" is the name of the main user of this computer.

In recent days, before that the problem began, I had worked on some of fixing nagging problems that could be fixed now (a little too soon to be sure).  Don't know if there is a link between what I've done and this file association problem...  But here's what I did:

1 an error message for lack of file Association for an external hard drive has been corrected by the associations of fixation to the drive, folder and file from this page (see at the bottom of the box): http://www.winhelponline.com/blog/file-asso-fixes-for-windows-7/

    This problem is now fixed.

2 event ID 2 errors were corrected following the advice on this page:

    Specifically, these instructions

In another forum "richardvetman" has this solution. I have not checked yet, but that's what he said:

    'Hi.

The circular kernel context logger takes frequent pictures of the system in a file of 100 MB of RAM (not on the disc). It is needed.

To fix the error "not start", look for the next file in the %windir%\panther\ folder:

    Setup.ETL

    and rename it to

    Setup.Old

He can stay in the \panther\ folder.

    Reboot and everything is done!

Would be very happy with your suggestions on how to get rid of the annoying file association warning when the PC is turned on.

Looks like something is running at startup, which is causing your problem. Take a look at this app and I don't know that he will jump on you.

  • Duplication of weird files problem

OK, I know this will sound weird, but I swear to you happens.

I created a page in Dreamweaver on Mac (version 11.4993) and spin it on a MacBook Pro with Lion (10.7.2). The pages normally in Dreamweaver (regular and direct) and normally in a browser.

However, if I do a "Save as" and rename the copy, page view for the new copy in Dreamweaver go to hell. Many of the elements of the page are smushed over to right side of the page. Yet, if I find the copy in ' mode live view "or see it through a browser, everything seems fine. I have reviewed the code in BBedit by running "differences between files" and the two documents are identical.

What happens, any ideas? I puzzled.

    TIA

I got Dreamweaver to do this, and I think it might be a problem of cache or something.  I found if I just click on the file I keep a copy in the files Panel, copy and paste it there and then s l o w l is double click on the name to rename - it produces quite the question.  Only if I save under and make a copy of this way doesn't it do.

  • Files of Thunderbird does not open, aid not to answer and only get Messages responds on the toolbar.

    Hi people,

My Thunderbird has turned into a pigeon feather-less in the last days.

It does not at all most of the time. If I restart the PC (Windows 7), it will start sometimes.

Even if started, the only way I can see the contents of any folder is to right-click and 'open in a new tab '. Then, I can see the content but can not respond to anything.

The tab 'Get new Messages' works, but nothing else on the work of the toolbar at all. Aid does not work.

I used MozBackup to, hopefully, back up everything.

May I ask if there is any repair that I can do or do I just re - install and rely on Mozbackup to recover and re - install all the stuff?

    Thank you.

    Ian

Install the program only touchs the program, not your data. Thus, on an existing program.
