  The first thing to try is to click the icon of hamburger (3 bars), tools/import... ... Address book vCard file, and then select the .vcf file. Open address book and see if the new address book seems OK.

  Looks like you did not move the photo files. Here again on the old computer, anywhere where you have stored the (or anywhere where you headed Lightroom to store). The name of the actual file can be seen in the metadata Panel of the Lightroom library Module, it corresponds to the location on the old computer. To move photos to new computer, keep the hierarchy of unchanged files, move everything to the new computer and put the pictures in the same place exactly as on the old computer (if it were to d:\my pictures on the old computer, put them in d:\my pictures on the new computer). If you can not put the photos in the exact same on the new computer, keep the same hierarchy and re - link in Lightroom via these instructions: Adobe Lightroom - find folders and files moved or missing

  If you have scanned the entire C drive and turned upward of 20 GB of files which didn't include .pdf, .doc, .jpg, .wrd, .xls or .mp3 file types, then (a) you have a small car (30 GB, if you have about 33% free) and (b) your files really do not seem to have been deleted.

  If you look at the pie for all the drive and you have selected the "Type" tab, it is likely that you do not see the file types that you have listed because their percentage of the total is too small and, as can imagine you, they are grouped in the category 'other '.

  If you click on the rightmost 3 buttons at the bottom of the pie chart, the display changes in a tabular view.  This will allow you to see all the different file types and allow you to determine the number of files of a certain type exist (and what is the total space for this type), but unfortunately, it won't show you where they are.

  If you want to save the file on dropbox or car, you can do so using this option (on the lower bar) to share. If you want these clouds files locally, you can generate a public link using the "share the public link" option in the dialog share. After you build the link, you can download this file and you can save it locally.

  Upward near the top right, you will see the word "select". You will be able to navigate the structure in the same way as you do Windows Explorer.

  I've upgraded from lightroom lightroom 3 4.  In many cases, the key words are missing - sort of. When I click on one photo, the keywords appear.  If I select a bunch of pictures, keywords appear as a group.  Why they not listed for each photo?  How can I get the "connected" without redoing each photo?  Let me know if you need more information.  It seems I read somewhere that keywords are stored in a separate file (many of these photos are jpg, if I do not speak .xmp), but I can't find where I read that.  Anyone know?

  Hello.  Looks like I got all my keywords attached to the pictures.  What I did:

  Firstly I find all photos without keywords using a metadata search.

  I found that he appeared to be groups of pictures that had no key words.  I decided to at least get the main keyword on all people in a particular group, such as Canyonlands.

  Once I added one of the keywords, the others all appeared as if by magic!  Then, I went to each group of photos and added the main keyword and the others came and attached to the pictures.

  Don't understand why this happened or why it fixed, because it was so random.  But I'm happy to have my restored keywords (I had divided flowers by color, etc. so it was a lot of work!)
