If you're overclocking (pushing components beyond their design) return you to default at least until the crash is resolved. If you don't know what it is that you're probably not overclocking.

So I have a problem when I try to put files (images and songs) on my external hard drive or mp3 player, it says that windows Explorer has stopped working, I get not the blue screen of death, but disappear everything on my desk for a second, then everything back.
And when I checked I got the error in the title with the "it could be a virus be careful opening... blabla..."
I haven't changed anything recently on my computer, at first, I just thought it was my mp3 player which was perhaps the issue until today I tried to move the image to my external hard drive.
I am running a virus scan, but I'm sure it will be negative, I almost never download the substance, except games on steam.
No idea what it could be or how I could fix it?
Hi, thanks for the answer, so I actually went for 10 Windows and the problem disappeared, I did try before only a few things, but only got my mps3 player/usb keys to work, not my external hard drive that I could not open this one as a mobile device, so that I could with others But anyway, Windows 10 seems to work so far, I've been able to transfer files without problem on all my devices, thank you for your time. = 3

Crash on startup Satellite L500-128
Hello
Sometimes, when I start my Satellite L500, I experience a blue screen that says that the laptop restarts automatically to avoid damaging the material.
It's coming fast, so I can't read all the text in the message. After auto restarts, the startup is normal.
Problem solver of Windows gives me an indication regarding these files.

Hello
Usually, you can also check the BSOD code in the Windows Event Viewer but also turn off automatic restart in case of system error.
If you know the exact code of BSOD, you can search in the Internet and the Knowledge Base Microsoft for detailed explanations. These bluescreens means generally that there is a driver or a hardware problem.
Also the Toshiba Recovery disk can help you identify the exact problem. -

Also, a small separate question, sometimes my laptop will automatically resume after hibernation (I don't use mode 'sleep') when I open the cover, without pressing the power button. However, most of the time this will not happen, and I have to press the power button instead. Why the computer will do that sometimes, but not others? Can someone tell me how to get the laptop to turn on simply by opening the cover, 100% of the time?
Thank you for your advice.
Hello
With regard to the problem of black screen.
You used the nVidia driver that it is not advisable due to the missing overheating protection. You must use the driver from Toshiba page.
Please also check if the BIOS is updated.
If the BIOS newer is available, please update that I read in some discussions that might contribute to solve these problemsRegarding automatically resumed from hibernation.
You must check in the BIOS if the Wake up on LAN and wake on keyboard options are disabled. If both or one is turned on, then off, save the changes in the BIOS and reboot the deviceGood luck

Hi Shaxs,
I suggest you to perform a clean boot and see if all the third-party applications is in conflict with the performance of the game.
To perform a clean boot on a computer that is running Windows 7, follow these steps.
1. click on start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.
2. in the general tab, click Selective startup.
3. under Selective startup, clear the check box load startup items.
4. click on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable all.
5. click on OK.
6. When you are prompted, click on restart.
7. after the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.
If your issue is resolved, follow the how to determine what is causing the problem section in KB article to narrow down the exact source.
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
In addition, refer to the section on how to restore your computer to a Normal startup mode
I also suggest you access the link below and read the MazterZz solution for a similar problem and see if it can solve.
The user in the link above rectified the mistake by uninstalling Xeno NIC. If by chance you have the same NETWORK card, you can try the above resolution and see if that fixes the problem.

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded: run DriverView - see
Hide Microsoft drivers - updated those without drain in their names. (Also update BIOS and drivers from the chipset.)-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system. For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver, description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.htmlFor drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common. Control Panel device - graphics card configuration-manager - note the brand and complete model of your graphics driver - double-click - tab - write version information. Now, click the driver update (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.
Repeat for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party with their own software and drivers and the other main device drivers you have.
Now go to the website of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration), then site of the manufacturer of the device (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Review of the BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system while there).
Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.
Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat if necessary.
Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW on device at the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER - manually check by model.
Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

Not much, if anything useful in this report, unfortunately.
a decent computer.
-What would be the hardware specifications, including the make and model of graphics card and
power supply brand and watts?
-How long have you been the problem, and you have made changes to the system settings
or install other software in time, the problems started?
-What game or games is originally the machine down? They are retail, steam, or other disc?
-The machine also crushing the dose when you use a Web browser or video game?-If the crash dump files were generated since the crash read Zig - zag section below
For more information on how to view a memory dump.
(and if all goes well he or one of those dealing with in dmp files)
comes to analyze ;).)

Repeat freezing and Action Center "video hardware error error issues."
I am not very computer savvy, but I had this problem and will provide what I can. Since 7 September, I've been having repeated, very random questions from my computer to freeze. I have to force close down to reboot. It happens the same way every time, where sound begins to hum and the slider's been hanging around, and it freezes completely. What happened 9 times the date, the last being only 30 minutes ago. I tried to update everything possible I can drivers for windows updated. I play every day an MMO and tried swapping game pads in case it could have been the cause, but it has not fixed. I have been able to reduce it to scroll to the bottom of Web pages that are strong images and it begins to freeze, and I am currently using Firefox. I couldn't find anything in case the system log of the observer who matched each gel, except once with that I think that the Action Center was looking for a problem and he came:
Problem: Video hardware error
Files helping to describe the problem:
SysData.XML WD-20141002 - 1521.dmp
WERInternalMetadata.xml
I've done checks of viruses, malware, RAM test, even taken in a computer store to identify the problem and everything came back with no results. I'm at a loss where to go next, or what to try.
My profile: http://i.imgur.com/H2PaXGo.png
I currently have two monitors, ASUS, but these if overwrite problems began before I had two monitors so I ruled that out.
Edit: Nothing else seems to be wrong, it restarts normally and worked quite well other than the gel.
Update the drivers for the chipset of your motherboard site and get the latest drivers for your graphics machine
Do NOT use windows update to recommended, which includes drivers
If the problem repeats itself then clean boot PC & retest
