  Well, you're wrong on two points. First of all, there was no asm in 9i. It is a product of 10g. Second, before asmcmd, we supposed touse only asm related views. There is no other choice.   Here's my problem. I need to apply three mono audio tracks for a video clip. The audio was recorded separately. My idea for the workflow is to apply the three audio tracks (same sound with different microphones) to the video in the timeline, then drop the video with three audio tracks within the project window. I need to manipulate them as a normal clip, because I want to cut them in the control screen. The problem that occurs is, I find myself with a clip with stereo sound, but I need three mono tracks in the sequence final (the audio goes for sound editing afterwards)

  Let me see if I follow. You have a silent Video stream and then 3 mono Audio stream. You want to mux/combine into one file so that you can cut in the Source monitor or the monitor connector.

  If so, I would set up a new sequence with 1 video track and 3 mono Audio tracks and a Master's Audio track to the appropriate address. Drag the video to the video track and the three Audio Clips to Audio 3 tracks. Make your mix, etc. and then export them to a file multiplex AV. You can use say DV - AVI SD material or, Lagarith Lossless CODEC, but you need to make sure you are using Audio and video Export to export and also multiplexing. This will result in a file intermediary multiplex AV. Now, make a new sequence and then import this intermediary place it in PrPro and double click to open it in the Source monitor Panel for roughing.
