  In my opinion, than a bolt of lightning just zapped my hard wired network adapter.  Everything else is fine, including the wireless network adapter.  But my computer doesn't even know he has a LAN adapter.

  (3) my USB ports are 2.0 so I know it is not necessary to get a faster USB Ethernet adapter.  But is there anything else I need to know on which is compatible with this computer?  You are right.  While USB 3.0 is backward compatible with USB 2.0.  No, none of the adapter should work.

  I added a graphics card from Gigabyte GE Force 210 GV-N210D3 - 1GI to my desktop HP Pavilion W7 p6 - 2220t. Reason: p6 - 2220t came with DVI (without Audio), and I need full HDMI.  The card went to the fine and certainly relies on the motherboard. But when I try to install the drivers Gigabyte I get error: NVIDIA INSDTALLER can NOT CONTINUE. THIS GRAPHIS DRIVER COULD NOT FIND THE CHART COMPATIBLE MATERIAL.  So ....... Can I HAVE to DISABLE INTEGRATED GRAPHICS card for the new card to work?  If so, HOW can I DISABLE the INTEGRATED GRAPHICS card?

  I know it's just a warning and it doesn't seem to affect the performance of my computer that I can say, but I would like to know why it's happening.

  Well, I found the task that updates HPSA in Task Scheduler.  I disabled it by using the Properties window.  On the chance someone may be interested, I'll post how it turns out.

  I hope that I can now keep the HPSA listed for my computer with no additional alert to update again HPSA that generates several warnings and is not compatible with my desktop computer Pavilion p6 - 2220t and/or Windows 7 sp1 64-bit operating system.

  This disabled the HPSA update only not any other.  It seems to be a standalone update for HPSA.

  The thing is that the motherboard is designed to adapt to the laptop for the motherboard cannot be separate or distinguish your laptop or maybe a series of models model. It's not like an office where motherboards are a standard form and configuration and can be easily set to current hardware or even years later. Nothing like that is possible with a laptop.

  As the title says, I have recently updated my card mother, cpu and ram (increased from Asrock extreme6 z77/i7 3770 k/Kingston 8 gb hyperx for EVGA ftw/i5 z97 4670 k/g. Skill ripjaw x 16 gb). I always use the same installation of Windows 7 64 via the same SSD. After I was installing new equipment, I used the disc that comes with the motherboard and installed all the drivers that were available (twice, just to be safe). All the features of the OS I had before seem to be there except to exit Device Manager to correctly install the drivers for my wireless (Linksys AE1000 and TP Link N900) adapters. I downloaded the current driver for the Linksys Web site and I have the disc for the TP-Link and I tried several times to install, but keep the same message ' Windows found driver software for your device, but has encountered an error trying to install it. Device Manager recognizes the device and it is not any question of State symbol (IE yellow triangle, etc.) that is displayed in conjunction with an adapter. I tried disable/re-enabling and uninstall/re-installing times and keep having the same problem. I tried to search in several forums of people with similar problems, but none of the resolutions seem to work or are suitable for my situation.   When you upgrade your motherboard, cpu and ram, drivers for particular devices may not be related to other drivers. That's why I suggest you to install all the drivers for the chipset from the manufacturers website and see if that helps.

  I desperately need help. I have a pavilion laptop Dv7-2015tx computer and my adapter is beeping and refusing to load. My battery recently failed, and so I can't turn on my laptop. I tried a hard reset, I tried to leave it unplugged for an hour and even shaking autour as suggested by some people on some forums as a solution. The light on the adapter is not on, and this problem has happened 2 times before, both times, the adapter has continued to work after about an hour to be disconnected. This time he didn't.   I read your post on the issue with the laptop won't start does not and wanted to help you!  I understand that the screen is damaged and you are using the external monitor to view the screen.  However, now that the laptop does not start, you can see is more of the external screen to see what is happening.

  From my understanding, you should not be able to see an image on the external monitor, until you start the operating system.  You can try to perform a system restore by using this document:

  Method 1: Boot errors are fixed by the clean boot.

  Perform the clean boot and see if that helps.

  A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.

  Method 2: Some malware parody itself as InfoCenter.exe, especially when it is located in the folder c:\windows or c:\windows\system32.

  I suggest you make a system full scan just to be sure.
