What are blue or purple arrows on Windows Mail messages?

What is the blue or purple arrows on some messages in Windows Mail?
Thank you.

More information on how my ID has been corrupted?

How can I delete the wrong profile or damaged?  Thank you.

Ok. Now I'm confused. Never, I said that you had a corrupted profile.

Stick to your original question, you understand the difference in the color of the arrows? If you do, and you have any other question, there is nothing to worry at this time.

Comments: The file "nwifi.sys" exists in the \windows\system32 directory, but the Windows Service does not exist and so must be "installed" (created). I understand that the command "sc" (service configuration) is probably the way to do it, but I do not know the correct settings for this particular Service. The nativewifip Windows Service is needed to support the Service of autoconfiguration WLAN according to the system of error events that occur when I try to start the autoconfiguration WLAN Service.

This means that there are more than a certain level of white space in your message store (usually this means that you have removed a number of items).

    Yes go ahead.

Compacted mail databases are generally safer and more resistant to corruption than the non-compacted.

Archive messages or move them to some other local mailboxes or mailboxes on the server. Don't know what you are trying to do because it appears that you have 2/3 of your hard disk.

Why do you think archiving emails in 2 places? Where are you trying to save space to?

    Hi JerryHunt,

    1. when the files located?

2 are you able to attach this file in other emails?

    3. How do you attach the file? Are you trying to drag-and - drop?

You can try through the interface and try to drag and drop the file.

You can also try to change the location to save the file. You can save to a different location and also save by using a different file name. Try to attach the file in Windows mail, then check if it works.

  • Corrupted Windows mail message store

When I open Windows mail a popup will appear indicating that the message store was damaged by a source outside of windows but no antivirus can detect a problem and it makes me lose all my files stored. Some used to recover, but recently, they have just disappeared. What's up with that?

    1. in Windows Mail, click Tools, then Options.

    2. in the Options dialog box, click the Advanced tab, and then click the Maintenance button.

I just did a system restore on Vista PC of my friend. I've restored all his personnel records from the before done backup and import export mail messages. Everything seems to be okay, but there were a few files imported with different names. We have manually renamed some folders and and copy the messages in one of the new files. Everything seemed to go well at first, but the next morning all but one of the messages in this folder show "Message cannot be found - the contents of this message cannot be found" in the body of each message.

Any ideas on how we can solve this problem? Thank you in advance.

  • Where are the files of Windows Mail messages and contacts stored in Windows 7?

I backed up a Windows 7 system and restored to factory State by doing a restore of the system because the system has been seriously infected by viruses.  I couldn't do the export before the system recovery.

Now, given the Windows 7 system restore brand new I am trying to restore Windows Mail account.  In fact, I can't tell if it was a front window Mail or Windows Live Mail.  I don't know if the locations of the files for messages and contacts of these two letters are different.

When I go to c:\users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\, I don't see Windows Live Mail but Windows Mail.  So does that mean it was a Windows Mail system not a before Windows Live Mail System.  I copied the files saved in Windows Mail system on the same path directory in the newly recovered system, but it doesn't seem to make a difference when I open Windows Live Mail, which is the only e-mail program on the newly recovered Windows 7 system.

Can someone confirm the locations of the files to messages and contacts, Windows Mail and Windows Live Mail in the operating system Windows 7 home.  Can I just copy the files on?  With Outlook 2007 and 2010, she usually works if I simply copy the files or import from the saved file.  Also should which file names be so that I can easily identify them?  Are the mail accounts and password setup to re - enter as Outlook 2007/2010 or are stored in the files I can simply copy to the new system?

  • Restore saved the Windows Mail Messages in the New Installation of Windows Mail

I found the following on this forum thread. Further to this review in the second paragraph, I was able to move a message to the empty folder. But I was unable to move the other messages in the folder. The files I tried to move appeared as attachments in a new message. The .eml files and not marked read-only. What should I try next?

    TIA,

    Michael R

Windows Mail does not dbx files.  Copy the store directory of all message on the desktop of the new machine.  Then right-click on the file and go to properties and make sure that they are not read-only.  Then go to file | Import | Messages in WinMail and choose the format from Windows Mail 7 and point to this directory.   See also here for general information: www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx#wm

If you can not always get messages in folders, you can create a new folder in WinMail and open it so that it displays a list of empty message.  Then, open up one of the subdirectories containing eml files in Explorer and drag an eml file on top of the list of message empty folder and drop and you will see it is embedded in the file.  Once you get a job, you can drag and drop all eml files at a time, as long as they are only the eml files.

I'll have to re - set up my Windows Mail after the death of my old hard drive. I am trying to import my old files from my Windows Mail Backup in my new Windows Mail. I was able to transfer the former folders of the backup but when I go to import it recognizes not all files. The error reads: "no messages are located in this folder or another application is running...". "I read several threads and it seems I also have to transfer via a file called folders.dbx, but it is not a list. I did a complete search on my C drive and nothing. How can I get these old records imported without this file?

    Thank you!

They are attachments because you drag another file in addition to the eml files.  When you select the eml files to ensure that they areonly the eml files and then it will work.

  • How to read email on Windows Mail messages offline.

Original title: Need help Windows Mail

I had to stop using windows mail quite earlier so I can't remember what the problem actually was. I need to know if there is a way to get to my messages without new messages from my webmail download provided to mail in the window.

    Thank you very much

Well, if your Windows Mail downloads messages, this is probably remove them from the server talktalk.net, so there is nothing for Gmail to download.  To change this behavior in Windows Mail go in choose Tools, accounts, your email talktalk.net, properties, advanced, account
Select "Leave a copy of messages on the server."
