  I have a project with several chronologies and many clips (which are all conversions for 8mm film).

  The clips are all ProRes to 23.976 fps/720 p or 1080 p/29,94 fps (two different places did the conversions for me and each have their own workflow)

  I did separate timelines 23.976 fps/720 p and 1080 p/29,94 fps and did my best to keep the separate formats.

  In my 720 p/24 fps timeline (that I created by dragging an item to the icon of 'New element') if I right click on the time in the upper left corner of the timeline of the sequence I can choose between:

  24 fps timecode

  No offset 30 fps timecode

  Feet & frames 16mm

  Feet & frames 35mm

  Frames

  My only option is 'Frames' (be it by right clicking on the time or through the sequence settings) within my 1080 p/29,94 fps timeline

  Anyone have idea what I am doing wrong?  It's just much easier for my brain to work with time...

  All my projects are starting about 5 min. on the timeline. Is it possible to make this start time shows in the timecode in zero display until the timecode shows the elapsed time of the project rather than the length of the line. My clients watch the blueray and give their notes using the bluray counter, it would be nice if I had a screen which was the same as theirs. I could use burned to tc, but that means make the whole 80 minutes. I could move the project from scratch, but that would spoil the audio automation.

  Hi all

  I found answers to my question on "Windows 7 Help Forums" http://www.sevenforums.com/> and a program to recreate and fix all the original Windows 7 hubs and symlink [attributes and security properties (full)], called 'Junction box' [site Web of Documentation: http://iwrconsultancy.co.uk/junctionbox>; and the download Web site: http://sourceforge.net/projects/junctionbox/?source=dlp>].

  I also found that there are more original than those listed above junctions.  My advice is to remove all the junctions, you could have recreated manually (or move them to your backup drive) before running "JunctionBox.exe" (using its configuration file "DefaultJunctions.ntj").  Then run it two or three times; because it is not recreate all the original joints the first time you run it.  It recreates the together the legacy of windows (see below), by default (C:\Users\Default), all users (C:\Users\All) and the current user (C:\Users\%UserName%), junctions on the first throw, but not the junctions of temp (C:\Users\Temp) and their targets. - you must re-create the junction target temp manually, yourself, if you want them to run.

  Here is MY updated 'Junction Box' 'DefaultJunctions_2.ntj' list of configuration files (list of all the original Windows 7 junctions):

• Is there a way to measure time on the timeline?

  Often, I want to know how long there is between the clamp a and clip b on my calendar.  I can move the cursor to the beginning and the end of the clips and do the math in my head.  But is it a creation tool that will do this for me?  I am considering something where you slide and exposing a part of the timeline and first tells you how long the game is.

  You're in luck; This exists. Just make sure that the Info Panel is visible and then either lasso or shift + click multiple clips. The info panel displays something like "5 items selected. Duration: 00 00 10; 00 ''. Even easier, just Shift + click on the first and the last clip of the order that you want to calculate, and you will have the total time to develop the first element and the out point of the last; He will not make a difference if you select the clips between the extreme values.

  For what it's worth, I put the SHIFT + 9 to be a hotkey to call the Info Panel with impatience for the same reason. This is a feature very convenient, often neglected Agency.

• Adding clip at a specific time on the timeline

  When you put the clips in the timeline, imovie, they automatically move at the end of the previous element, all the way to the left of the timeline. Is it possible that you can move a clip at a specific point in the timeline, say, 01:30, but a gap of no content between 0 and 01:30? I have an audio track at the moment and I try to sync the audio clips, but I take pieces out one at a time and don't want any film from start to finish crafts. There MUST be a way to put videos where I want, at the top of the audio without having to move and attach it to the previous item. I want to just place them where I want to, at some point, and they have to stay there.

  No, you can only leave spaces between clips in the main FCP timeline.  However if you put a (probably black) background in the iMovie timeline and extend to the duration of the video, then you can put top clips whenever you like and it will display when you play the movie (picture in picture).

  Will try with an image. You do not change the point of suspension of the D & D, which is located at 1.5secs. For this reason only the audio never played before that the user has submitted the D & D. There is not need to slide that long either. I created this for you, and it works perfectly. Text with audio 2secs, I changed the suspension point of the D & D at 4secs. It's not because of me that the point of suspension does not appear in the timeline panel, I very much regret and recorded a feature request to make it visible.

Whence this string of data? I have attached a copy of the library feature. In my application, I was able to work around the problem by replacing the chain with a constant string control. But I'm still curious to know what is happening.

  Chain drive was scheduled by default with the string you see.  To change it, enter the new string, right-click on the control and select

  You can enable or disable the bookmarks bar via view > sidebars > Favorites or Ctrl + B
