  Hi all

  I'm going to which, according to me, with my Alienware Aurora video card problem. I want to upgrade the card video, but for some reason that I can't figure out what Aurora model I. I Googled, I have my Support service tag Dell technique #, I even called the line of Technical Support 24/7, which was closed (Whaaat?). I just want to correctly identify which model I have, so I can get the correct video card. What is simply 'just' an Aurora or an Aurora ALX or R1 or?

  Looks like the original Aurora, who had no additional designation, but is often referred to as here a R1 for clarification.

  You should be able to use any modern day gfx card as long as your bios is up to date - should be A11, A9 should be ok too.  If the update, do a search here for Tesla guide to update the bios, to minimize the chances of bricking of your motherboard.

I have created a disk to reset password on the profile of my son and I'm going to change the password on the account and it will allow me to do to change the password, and then it pops up with an error, when I'm finished. I also tried to activate the net user administrator safe mode and it appears with and error 5 on that. Can someone help me please.

  So I know that vista comes with cmdlets and Gadgets Sidebar and toolbar quick launch in low next to the button start. You can move from top, bottom, left or right of the screen and put a shortened desired in this regard. You can change the color of it and everything. • I'm unable to change default file associations. The association always returns to what it was.

  I am running Windows 7 64 bit.  I can't change the file associations default for .exe and .ini files (I have not tried the other file extensions).  I tried to make the change by choosing "open with", select the desired program and checking the 'always use the selected program to open this type of file.  I also tried with the option "Default Programs/Set Associations" in the control panel.  No matter what I do, the association returns to what it was before (the Notepad in the case of .txt and .ini files)

  Thanks for your suggestion.  I tried Microsoft FixIt, but that did not help.  Then I remembered that I had installed and uninstalled a trial version of UltraEdit v. 18 on my computer.  This program partners with a variety of file types.  I reinstalled the trial version, making sure that it has been configured to not to associate any type of file and then uninstalled again.  Now everything works fine.

• When I download Fire Fox, it requires the password. How to know what password was there

  When I try the bottom of the load of Firefox, two messages come. One is the administrator and then it asks password. As far as I know that I had never set a password. 2nd is that Chrome think this program will be bad for the computer and it rejects the download process.

  After Firefox 8, I can't see the file extensios.rdf as before. Basically, I used to get the key firefox for example {ec8030f7-c20a-464f-9b0e-13a3a9e97384}, then get the FF version via em: minVersion / em: maxVersion.

  Extensions.SQLite has replaced the extensions.rdf file in Firefox 4.0 and later versions. It is not a simple ' text' file as was the RDF file format.

  If you are looking to change the extension maxVersion property, don't change in the file install.rdf for each particular extension.
