  The graphics card driver usually includes a pixel shader.
  AFAIK the DirectX 9.0 c supports pixel shader 3.0.

  But not all graphics cards supports pixel-shader 3.0 and according to Wikipedia article 600 gpu ATI Radeon X only the Pixel Shader 2.0 media!
