What deleted version fluid layouts grid?

I want to know which version of Dreamweaver updates removed fluid layout grid.

I looked around the Adobe site, but what they will tell you what's new, not much on what has been removed.

Grid layouts fluid have not yet been removed in the latest version of DW.

  • Problem in Dreamweaver with fluid layouts grid

    Hello!  This is my first post here.  I had intermittent problems in page layouts fluid grid.  The sizing handles that are supposed to be there in a liquid/div element sometimes disappear with duplication icon and the arrow that moves a div element / to the previous row.  For example I'm working on a lesson in my class online for Dreamweaver that wonder of an unordered for a style menu list.  I want to make a horizontal menu where each item is 3 columns wide.  Without handles I can't size the elements in the list or "inflate them" next to each other.  What's a sense?  Sometimes, they are there and sometimes not.  Especially not here.  It's very frustrating!  Can someone offer solutions?

  • Padding, borders, and Nested divs in fluid layouts grid Cs6

    In working with the fgl cs6, you can nest the divs effectively? He says clearly that you can't, but I tried anyway and managed somehow. Handles appear, and you can resize. How is that? However, Im confused about adding padding or borders without throwing off the grid. DW Adds padding rather recalculation. I know that you can style of the content, but how you style the div? Thanks in advance.

    Well, to summarize everything if this place, so that the design view certainly has its styles of rendering issues, there's a way for anyone who needs it.

    If you try and fill or border to any fluid grid div, design view does not well she, but she adds your styles to an empty div, inside the fluid div, it allows to achieve the result expected in design mode. I saw it in another post.

    Close enough. Four div tags with a reasonable Design view rendering and the fill and border. Otherwise, you can also style the content to get the same result.

  • How to replace the gutter while using fluid layouts grid?

    Hello

    My problem occurs when I try to take two of my divs in the checkerboard to fluid and make them so that they are all built-in. I removed the left margin of the div on the right side and makes the two divs side by side in the designer view. However when I take a glance on the site in IE or Chrome a gap remains between the div where the gutter is to.

    I don't know exactly what we call this technique, but I'm trying to get the look that it is beveled and it separates the columns. problem w divs.png Two areas of the circles are where I want the divs to be routed via line side by side with the other. It is supposed to look like this.

    correct.png

    As I mentioned above, I use the grid to fluid. I don't know there must be a way to move the div is above. However, I believe that the problem may have to do with the "locked" for Gates div. I tried to remove the left margin which had some divs, this seems to solve the problem in DW, but isn't actually once I have test.

    I'm fairly new to DW but I was able to pull this off so far and this is the only problem that keeps me from this site to complete.

    Another idea I had was to just wrap the 3 layers of content I want to be together and put them in a div that surrounds all 3 and set the background image of the main div to this image. However, the problem with this is that as scales the image down the page is cut and then before you know I do not have the look I want. If there is a way to make the background image to maintain its width and the scale of the page, I think this might be an easier solution.

    If anyone has any ideas on how to fix it please let me know.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello again,

    So after a few hours messing around I was able to solve my problem. I'll just tell you guys what I have any pack that is facing the same problem, I got in the future.

    After that I had this moment where I expected to find, how have I not think of this before?

    Basically if you look at the first image I posted above I put 1 part of the dark line on the left image and the white line on the Middle image. This caused a problem when the page has been updated to the scale about because the sides of the Middle image might get cut and so I lost the look indented.

    To solve this, I have simply returned to Photoshop, took all the lines out of the Middle image, and then I put the two lines on the left and the right image. Once I inserted the pictures in DW I had lined up on the left edge (for the photo on the right) and the right edge (left on the photo). This made sure that, even if the sides got "cut" as page scaling, the other would stay in place.

    My page is now able to scale properly with the background image remains in the right place.

    In addition to "spend addition" gutters and remove rules space, I found that I had to just go into my CSS in each of these boxes and set light to the times, left or right. This definition seems to forget that the gutters were there and so my divs go next door.

    Thanks for all the help guys gave. It got me thinking and helped me to find this solution.

  • DIVs in fluid layouts grid

    Hello

    As one, I decided to design a new website with the FGL and the design of the layout of base for various devices has been problem free. However, I have various div tags that contains mixed content (in separate divs) I want to focus, but no matter what I can not make the content of the div to the Center.

    I tried to put the div itself on the width as 'auto', but it doesn't seem to change anything, therefore, what Miss me?

    Hello Sudarshan traore,

    I was about to post a response to this fledgling scross after another detachment of Nancy who has highlighted a demonstration site about FGL, http://alt-web.com/FluidGrid/Fluid1.html# that displays the contents of the footer I made. Go to the code that she sent me and how FireFox Inspector revealed that where I was going wrong, I discovered. I've been away outside the beacon P, while she reads now.

    Tag 'footer1.

    Tag 'footer2.

    Tag 'footer3.

    and within the CSS, I have the following code;

    footer p {margin: 0; padding: 0; text-align: center}

    I now need to test it with an image, and then it's this annoying problem of the road.

    So thanks a lot to you two.

  • When using grid of fluid layout, where the mode of creation in the version of Dreamweaver 2014?

    When using grid of fluid layout, where the mode of creation in the version of Dreamweaver 2014?

    Open your fluid Grid CSS file and add an X as shown below.  This trick DW into thinking that it is a normal page layout, so you can use the Design mode, spell checking, copy & paste text, etc...

    /*

    Properties Grid Dreamweaver fluid

    ----------------------------------

    DW-num-CLO-mobile: X 4;

    DW-num-CLO-Tablet: 8;

    DW-num-OCOL-Office: 12;

    DW-gutter-percentage: 25;

  • I use Dreamweaver cc 2014 and after styling css to my fluid page layout grid I lose him resize, delete, duplicate and move up / down ability.

    I use Dreamweaver cc 2014 and after styling css to my fluid page layout grid I lose him resize, delete, duplicate a high displacement / low capacity.

    For this reason I can't build new pages by copying a page to create a new one.

    I have a third style sheet that I use for the styles of navigation and h1 - h6 ect. Tags. and I'm also using a dropdown menu CSS, if one of them can be the problem?

    The menu css that I use has the following script: I spend at the bottom of the html page. Before the closing tag, body

    < script >

    $(function () {})

    $("#nav").tinyNav ();

    });

    < /script >

    I also use the following for an image - I have put it to the top of the fluid

    grid style sheet.

    * {

    box-sizing: border-box; / * Opera/IE 8 + * /.

    -moz-box-sizing: border-box; / * Firefox, another Gecko * /.

    -webkit-box-sizing: border-box; / * Safari/Chrome, another WebKit * /.

    }

    Can you please help.

    My experience is that you should not touch the style sheets that have been created by the system of FGL. Also, there is no need to copy and paste whenever it could disrupt the spoilsports. If you need to apply your own styles and then put them in a second stylesheet, that way if something goes wrong, you can always revert to the original.

  • Fluid put grid in connection to what style sheet

    I'm brand new to the fluid design grid Layouts and websiite then please explain your answers carefully. One of our members told me that there should be at least 3 stylesheets using fluid grid Layouts. The first two are automatically created by Adobe CS6 and advice is do not delete them. My question below is about the stylesheet wide third, custom, I created.

    • Fluid.CSS = layout
    • boilerplate. CSS browser reset =
    • your_custom. CSS = site wide styles

    The question is: how to index.html and other pages follow the styles created in the custom site wide stylesheet? I created a 3rd, large custom site style sheet and although I've linked index.html to this style sheet, is to ignore the Styles that I created in the custom css file.

    I found what I was doing wrong. I changed the font and size of police as the smart phone of the style sheet section. I didn't know that I also have to change it in the desktop section and a tablet. I feel like a jerk, but at least I figured it.

    Thank you very much Ben! I don't know that I have additional questions that I move along.

  • First Div in the inoperable fluid page layout grid

    I created a grid of fluid layout with lots of divs.  Once I created the full page the first div in the grid container is not green and cannot be changed in size.  It shows as follows:

    < div class = "gridContainer clearfix" >

    < div id = "Logo" > OWL logo < / div >

    < div id = "PhoneSample" > This is the content of the div layout "PhoneSample" < / div >

    etc.

    etc.

    etc.

    The div logo does not work and is all black and white - no green layer.  When I click in the blue border mobile is not upward as it does on all of the following divs.

    Please, I beg you. What I did and how can I solve this problem?  Thanks in advance.

    Thank you Nancy.  I changed the description of html back to accord with the CSS and I'm back in business.  It should have been obvious to me, but it wasn't somehow.   I found you and this forum are very useful.

  • questions of fluid page layout grid

    try my hand at this thing of fluid page layout grid and I'm having a few problems. part of the problem is I can just try to do too much, which makes an ecommerce site and the page has a certain div inside, a header, description, photo, basket and price div by each element. the layout looks good in the mobile display but I can't get the divs to match the Tablet and the desktop view.

    I know there are other programs as data boot out there, but just don't know if they're going to face the same question.  the simple solution would be just to create each of these elements in photopshop and then each item would be just a div, instead of 5. but the question would then become I create the size of each element of the mobile view, but at the time it gets to the desktop view the quality of the image is going to be lousy.

    the last solution would be just to get a different url and build this page for mobile, have a link on the page to view this complete site and just towards my url which has the site office facing up and running and do the opposite on the desktop site.

    HELLLLLPPPPPPPP! advice or direction would be appreciated.

    My url is http://www.coloredfortunecookies.com If you want to see my questions. you can play with the size of the screen in your browser and see all look great in the mobile display, but not the other.

    Thank you!

    Thank you nancy, makes sense.

  • Fluid design grid how

    I'm curious as to how I would go all this in dreamweaver with a fluid design grid.

    PPS FartAround.jpg

    I can split the background with a gradient easily enough, but what I do for the 'main' green dark. Dreamweaver, tells me that I can not put a div in a div after the .clearfix container. Sorry if it's simple, I'm certainly not a professional Web Designer / coder. Come play with something.

    What version of DW have you?

    I do not recommend using fluid grid (Legacy) layouts.  They were OK, when they came out in 2012, but Adobe has renounced them.  Inheritance is code talk because they won't be around much longer.

    Bootstrap is more robust.  You can nest a div inside the DIV tags, no problem.

    body - background 2-tone

    bottom of container - Green

    the inner tank - white background.

  • blocking of horizontal scrollbars on fluid layout

    I'm trying to stop the scrolling and let just a portrait.

    but the widget I found and the code, they said to me, is not working.

    I also checked all the breakpoints to see if there is no content outside of my canvas, but so good!

    It's a fluid layout.

    ADOBE HELP!

    Hello

    I have checked your site location in 3 different browsers but don't see a scrolling horizontal, even when you click on "voltar para o topo" which takes me at the top of the page, as it is and even after resizing of the browser window.

    Can you please to what browser are your tests to your site?

  • Fluid layouts menu

    With fluid layouts what's his name when a horizontal navigation on a bar Currency exchange to a menu drop down on a mobile screen.

    I use the manual missing for Dreamweaver CC and I can't reference on how to do this, which seems important enough to me.

    Hi PilotDave, yes the DMXzone Bootstrap 3 Navigation Extension performs this task for you. It provides you with a visual way to build your navigation, select its style etc. entirely DW Design/Live View without writing a single line of code.

  • How can I place a div not transparent in a div transparent semi for a fluid presentation grid in dw cs6

    I am very frustrated I was looking for a solution to my problem, I am trying to place a non-transparent div, in a div transparent semi for a fluid page layout grid in Dw cs6, so far, I found no resolution is a way to do, I've attached a screenshot of my layout, everything I already looks exactly how I want it and it works perfectly with the checkerboard to fluid, with the exception of the white box. The area in white, I want to be opaque. Is there a way to do it and have it still work correctly as a checkerboard to fluid? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

    screenshot.jpg

    Opacity of the effect everything, including the containers & text inside.   To better control the opacity of the background, use RGBA colors.

    {#divName}

    background: rgba (255,255,255,0.4)

  • Flow layout grid and items guides have suddenly disappeared

    I'm working in Dreamweaver CM³ and try to build a fluid grid from scratch.  Everything works fine for a while, then I noticed that suddenly all the grid guides are gone, the icon (next to the 'Live' button) allows me to enable / disable fluid guides grid disappeared and when I try to insert a new div tag... (in the "gridContainer clearfix" tag), the dialog box that opens has not the option "Insert as element fluid." Even when I click in a div on my page, the usual options that surround the div are gone as well. It of as if Dreamweaver does not recognize the page as a checkerboard to fluid, but when I saw the HTML, it is still sensitive and looks like she's supposed to.

    Anyone know what could have changed which could cause this?

    I even called Adobe and the tech support guy told me that they are not trained in CSS and could not help me. I think that Adobe would be familiar with CSS... right?

    If anyone has any suggestions that would be great?

    Hi WorkingLensJD,

    As a designed behavior, customization by the user is not yet supported for css created with FG.

    You can save a feature request for the same

    Depend on the number of users of reports, we will look into it.
