  Open your fluid Grid CSS file and add an X as shown below.  This trick DW into thinking that it is a normal page layout, so you can use the Design mode, spell checking, copy & paste text, etc...

  I use no px values.  I generally use the % font size in the selector body inside my queries.  Adjust the dimensions accordingly.

• Edge animation does not appear in the fluid layout

  I try to keep things as simple as possible to work on what goes wrong. I created a page of fluid layout in Dreamweaver CM³ and created an Animation Board CC that works well in the generated HTML page (which is located in the same folder as the file I'm looking for to add to). Where things are falling apart, it's when I try and add the div of the step in the flow layout.

  I am sure that I have copied all relevant style and JavaScript references and have tried several times, but as soon as I add the animation in fluid page it disappears and never seems to load. I cut the animation at the most basic level, simply an image replaces another.

  Am I missing something obvious?

  Thanks, but I checked that. Resolved now. I had to surround the div of the scene with another div that was not using the fluid class. That seems to have fixed.

• Header/footer static on dynamic fluid layout

  Hello guys, I've been browsing high and low for a while now, but never found what I REALLY need to fix my form.

  Have a fluid layout with (from top to bottom, in this order): header, text, retail, bio and foot.

  1. Header and footer are two pieces wrapped in subforms placed at the top and bottom of the pach, respectively.
  2. TEXT is a subform just under the header.
  3. RETAIL is a fluid subforms which is supposed to grow in height because the user creates new instances of it [and it works].
  4. BIO is a text box wrapped in a subform flowing (asa above).

  My problem is that, well that place the header and footer in the Master pages section (because I only they repeat on EACH page), they come regularly step by step on the rest of the subforms (TEXT, DETAIL and BIO).

  Of course, I would like to have the header and footer fixed in their positions, regardless of what is between the two and all the subforms fluid set of sub header, filling all available space, possibly break to the next page, but always under the header above footer.

  I'm looking for an example of a working solution based on what I brought back, please do not post external links or maybe-solutions. Maybe for you, it's something very simple and stupid, but it gives me a lot of headaches so far.

  You can set your content area. Go view > Master Pages. You'll see a dotted purple line that you can adjust manually or in your page layout palette. If you put your header/footer outside of this area, all the content of the rest of your form will be page break between them.

  When you perform a fluid layout with cs6, if I wanted to add another page, each page would have its own fluid style sheet.

  Repeat with the other pages of the site.

  However, if you plan to use another provision on the internal pages, you need to multiple CSS files.

• Problem in Dreamweaver with fluid layouts grid

  Hello!  This is my first post here.  I had intermittent problems in page layouts fluid grid.  The sizing handles that are supposed to be there in a liquid/div element sometimes disappear with duplication icon and the arrow that moves a div element / to the previous row.  For example I'm working on a lesson in my class online for Dreamweaver that wonder of an unordered for a style menu list.  I want to make a horizontal menu where each item is 3 columns wide.  Without handles I can't size the elements in the list or "inflate them" next to each other.  What's a sense?  Sometimes, they are there and sometimes not.  Especially not here.  It's very frustrating!  Can someone offer solutions?
