Have you worked with any organization of data services truly stellar? Any advice or suggestions are welcome!

  Hi Hayley,

  We work with many customers on that sort of thing.  I would recommend a number of things:

  1. review how you can exploit existing data sources, there are mentions in this thread on the internal data warehouse, etc. and even how you host your forms on the outside.  So understand what you have internally that you can use the data sources (and confidence) to fill the gaps.

  2. If you plan to use a data adding to the seller (and there are many choices), to understand what makes sense for you.  It is a complete database add? Something that someone like D & B, ReachForce or NetProspex can offer you.  Or is it to get more data on people who submit your forms (and a solution such as ReachForce SmartForms or DemandBase)? Or is it two?  Determine what is important and where you can get information, as well as the best strategy to ensure that you get the biggest bang for your money.

  3. build processes within Eloqua to bring it all together.  Create standardized values, Eloqua allows to align the data you get these values and make sure that your segmentation, lead scoring programs and programs are aligned accordingly.

  Also don't forget, once you have all that in Eloqua how do you share it in your CRM?

  We decided to use a tool to manage all media (mediastore), including Adobe illustrator files. Our mediastore display objects as thumbnails (small images) and is able to export in different formats, such as jpg images.

  The problem we have is we see the page through this mediastore, not only the image that we have learned with Amnesty International. So on the tile sometimes we see nothing because the image is small on the page (we see a small black spot on an empty table) and when we send the image (export), receivers had to crop the image to get only the photo...

  It's one of the downfalls of a unique layout. In this type of layout, everything must be loaded because everything exists on the same page.

  So, I tried running your page through some analyzers and found there are a few very large files that are used.  The backgrounds are enormous and could probably be more compressed.  Right now, your first 6 images are 10 MB of 20 + MB size of the page which is too much.  Also, I see a lot of Parallax javascript drag.  Just because a Web site is a single page does not mean that it must be a site of parallax.  In fact, for this type of site, I would recommend removing the Parallax because there is no need for this.

  If you simplify the site in this way, which should help a good deal with loading and scrolling speed.

  Your update of Feb. 01, 2012 has ruined the firefox I knew.
  It opens new windows and I can't stop it.
  It is no longer open tabs I had open when I closed it, causes me a lot of work.

  It ignores the settings I have in the options, and quite frankly, if it ignores the basic parameters, I have to wonder how safe it really is now...

  You should reverse this update and review what you did... I hate this new version, and I will be uninstalling.

  Update here: I spent some time restart FF in safe mode and turning my extensions on one at a time. I realized that the add-on "Disconnect from Facebook" was causing problems mentioned above. Once I disabled this extension, my browser back to normal. I don't know if other extensions are causing this problem, but this troubleshooting method worked for me.

  PS - I returned to disconnect from Facebook and manually updated, and now it works well.

  I'm trying to format a picture in Muse where he will begin at some point on the page and extend to the width of the browser.   I just noticed that Eloqua has updated their logo.   I love him and commercialization in me would like to know more of the story behind it:

  • Why the logo has been updated?
  • What is the new logo intended to convey?
  • Why were the red and gray colors chosen?
  • What the font has been used?

  As I said, I really like the new logo, but knowing the backstory to its development gives it a richer sense.

  Before that we have redesigned our logo and visual identity, we have defined our positioning in the market as the "modern marketing experts."  Given our history as leaders in the marketing automation and our vision of marketing as a key factor in the revenue performance, he seemed a natural choice.  We have not updated our identity for several years and the new positioning, with the emphasis on 'modern', claimed an up-to-date appearance.  As Heidi pointed out, the previous identity was intended to convey solid, corporate, serious business.  He did his job.  But now it was time to highlight our unique personality, focused on the customer, "fun!"

  The new logo is very fluid and we have voluntarily incorporated the design of infinity, symbolizing the "unlimited possibilities".  We do fun things with the symbol in our marketing; You may have noticed how we it animated in one of our videos of DF.  I'm not a big fan of logo bugs, but I think we hit a home run by incorporating the bug in our current logo.

  We decided to stay with our Red primary color... it is with us since the beginning and carries some equity.  It is an energizing color and works well with the new design.  But we've added a whole new slate of colors secondary to our palette including teal, slate blue, yellow/orange.  It will give our merchants more options and, in accordance with our 'modern marketing experts' positioning, brings more energy to our identity.

  The new slogan, 'How Marketing Works' modern, has been one of the easiest decisions we did (and slogans are usually the most contested element a refresh of the brand).  It does a great job to support our new positioning.
