  Hey guys I have a problem I could use some help with.

  I have a Dell Studio 1555 laptop

  Windows Vista Edition Home Premium 64-bit

  4 GB of Ram

  Intel Duo Core T6500 @ 2.1 GHZ

  I've had this laptop over a year now and it works perfectly but around a week ago, he went a little out of whack.

  Basically, no matter what programs are running my CPU usage will be 90-100%, which makes the laptop almost impossible to use.

  It comes and goes a bit, but for the majority of the time is around this margin. (for example I wrote that his party up to 10% once again, little about what I expected, but it will rocket upward again in a few minutes)

  The strange thing is that it doesn't seem to be a program or .exe using all CPU.   try adding a small fan blowing in the wind (or at least through them) to see how effective that has
  on the question.

  What CPU is installed in your laptop?

  It isn't really a question of what HP is recommended. Your concern should be what the CPU manufacturer lists as Tjunction for the CPU.

  If your laptop is the Intel Core i7-2630QM installed then lists Intel 100 c as TJunction. I found the technique for your laptop here. You should be concerned if you see time > 85 degrees Celsius. Here is a link to Intel for your processor plug.

  The temperature of the CPU is always different. It always changes during execution of programs.
  Using high performance applications, all parts such as CPU or GPU must operate with maximum performance and it would increase the internal temperature.

  But you're right. 90 degrees looks a bit too high, even if the processor can handle this temperature.
  I think that the cooling modules must be verified. Sometimes the dust and debris prevents the fans work properly and air can circulate properly.

The reports are delivered to us in form of PDF files and are finally delivered to our customers, which of course do not have our fonts so we needed them to be embedded in PDF files.

  I am just checking that they use indeed fonts, we have specified, but see confuse the results in the sample PDF files they provided. I see that the fonts are similar, but not quite the same thing. For example, periods, when magnified rather round and square.

  When I look at the Document properties/Fonts, I don't see font names that I expect. I see two apparent embedded fonts - fon0 and fon1, both shown as TrueType (CID) and Encoding like identity. h.

  This means that there was a substitution (as you know the form of periods), probably because the fonts are not available for any app they used to create the PDF file. There are two ways in Acrobat to see more details on the fonts in a PDF file - one is to open upstream and choose the Browse... all the fonts in documents in the Options menu, the other is to install the plug-ins free FontReporter of PDFLib (Google for it).
