    Hello-

I'm having a problem with Keynote 6.6.1 on my main Mac (who is running the most recent version of El Capitan): she will not record a slideshow. When I click on the record button, the green bar at the top remains green. The freezing of the app and I have to force quit the application. I know that there is not a problem when the slide show is itself, because I saved the introductory presentations in iCloud and save slide show on my laptop. I'd appreciate any help that the community can offer, as it is a disadvantage to have to go forward and backward.

    Thanks in advance.

    Michael Campbell

El Capitan has a lot of problems with Keynote 6.6.1 while Yosemite shows little question. Using the latest version of the software is not always the best idea.

Make sure that you change a Keynote file that is saved on your Mac, do not attempt to modify a file on iCloud

When re-recording, you need to clear a previous record first: Inspector > Document Audio > clear

When I click on the record button, the green bar at the top remains green.

Not sure that you go to the next slide using the bar spacing or arrow to the right?

  • Need advice on the creation of a movie and a slide show to display with a projector

I'll set up video and a slide show of photos for a meeting. I'll use the pictures of different sizes and quality. The projector is rented, so I can't practice with her, but I got the info about: 3 LCD, 1100 lumens, native resolution of 1024 x 768, 4:3 picture format, throw distance 5' 50 '. The audience will be about 100 people.

I have created several movies with slideshows which have been engraved on DVD for viewing on a TV, but I never did anything for projection on a screen using my laptop. It is my understanding that reduce the photos to a reduced video resolution quality because no matter what the resolution of digital photography, the video output will be 720 x 480. Given that the quality of the photos old movie 126 and 110 are very cheap to start, I was wondering if they would be better if I could show using Adobe Photoshop Elements' slideshow featured on my laptop and then switch to showing a Premiere of the movie file?

I learned from my mistakes of slide show of film when the TV cut heads (outside the margin of safety). I'm sure there are a few pitfalls when using a projector, but I don't know what they are. Those with experience of projector could give me some advice? Thank you very much.

With the source VHS film, SD (720 x 480 NTSC) will be as good as you can get. With this video, I'd do a DV project.

This ARTICLE will give you some tips on analog to digital, but sounds like you have covered, with your camera miniDV on pass through.

Now, one possibility could be high-rez this SD material and use it in an HD project, to the specifications. of the projector. However, some heavy research. Not sure about several things: PrE will work with this program. It will allow to match this 720 p projector, etc. ? A red giant a program/plugin, Magic Bullet InstantHD. I don't know these answers.

For me, I was watching just to make a scale of my stills and DV project to that. Obviously, the resolution will be less than max for the projector.

    Good luck

  • Slide show is displayed in the sidebar

I created a slide show using bridge.

I inserted the slideshow in an iframe in a DIV inside the main_content of a column of two fixed, page on the left sidebar, header and footer html.

See the runs and sounds great the local test using IE, Firefox and Chrome.

When I download and test the entire slideshow on the web server live, moves out of the apparent area of the main content. It appears below the left sidebar, a bit far from the right edge of the main content area.

    John,

Thanks for the reply and I feel stupid for forgetting a link. However, I just fixed my problem with a clear = setting right css for the maincontent div.

I don't know what happened, that it be updates to the browser or something got corrupted in the site. It had been fine for a few years and then a problem. Anyway, maybe it helps someone else solve a similar problem.

  • Screen saver slide show displays all the images

    original title: screen saver

I chose pictures like under settings and screen saver, I choose my photos but it doesn't work because of a couple of records not all.  Why?

Your other files cannot be included in your image library.  Right click on the folder and select "include in library > images.  Then set your screen saver to use your image library.

  • What format to save faxes as in Win 7 64 bit OS

HPers Hello, I am new to 'All in one' inkjet HP. Two questions: 1) in the Fax options send the selected default file format is the *.rtf. The only other option was a plain text document *.txt. I chose the latter, then sent the fax. The fax went through successfully. I looked for a copy of the image by fax in Notepad, also performed a general search of my whole OS and found nothing. If I return to the Rich Text Format to default file format, the faxes are saved for me to review? I'm looking for a copy of the real document sent, not only a report with the date, completion status, time, etc.  (2) I'm not a fan of leave powered equipment upward when not in service. I do not leave my PC is the mode 'sleep' and off the Officejet 4635 after use. Of course, this means I have to reset the time and date each time that I turned it on. Virtually none of these documents are for professional use, so the date and time are not really necessary, but would be nice. If I want the appropriate data in the "sender" header of information, I think that there is no other way around or A) leaving on (I guess that sets to an energy economy/mode standby?) or B) the date and time information on the rare occasion where it is essential to start over. I searched on the HP support site, the help section etc., user manual... before posting here. Thanks for all the ideas in advance, RJM

Hello RJMacReadyand welcome to the Forums of HP, I hope you enjoy your experience!

I see you have a few questions about your new Officejet printer.  You can access all your faxes via the web server integrated printer.  I'm linking a document on using the built-in Web server.

Regarding the closure of the printer, it is a star energy machine that will go into power save mode 'sleep', so there is no need to turn it off regularly.

Thanks for posting on the HP Forums.

  • Album art shows in slide show?

During playback of music in media center of vista, if I click play slide show to display a random slideshow of our pictures, it also shows the album art.

Is there a way to specify the directories to use for images that is different from the direcctories used for music?  Right now, it's just all 'media '.

    Is there another workaround solution?

    Hi Sullida,

Slideshow of Windows Media Center will include all the images he finds that appear in folders that Windows Media Center is "Watch".  If there is album art in a music folder, it will be part of the slide show.  You can take a look at what look at Windows Media Center records and move album art that you'll find in another location so that it will reveal is no longer in your slideshow.  We have provided steps below that will show you how to check which folders are monitored.

    1. start Windows Media Center
    2. go in tasks
    3. then settings
    4. Select Configure library
    5. Select stop watching a folder
    6. click Next

Do not actually disable a folder, but you can look through this list and see the witch files are monitored.  Leave it and close Windows Media Center.  You can now go to the folders in the list and either move or remove covers album or any other images that you do not want to be in the show.  Remove album art will have any impact on current music files playback.  Most of the music files should have the album art themselves are nested, it will still appear in Windows Media Center.  Please let us know if you have any other questions.

  • Windows 7 Photo Screensaver slide show the maximum number of Images? Recommended file specifications?

I use Photos as a screensaver as described here:
It seems that if I have too many image files for the photos as screensaver. After the screen saver slide show has worked for at least 20 minutes, it lags behind trying to leave the screen saver and return to the desktop.
What are the specifications of file recommended for use of photos as a screen saver?
    • file size in MB (which resembles all default values in C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper
    • dimensions maximum file (which looks like all default values in C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper
    • types of files (extensions)
    • maximum number of images supported
When you look at the pictures in my file they all seem to be in the 2 MB and range 1920 x 1200. So my only guess is that having too many is the problem. It does not lag when I change the directory of C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper. I'm only here a hypothesis, some data of real functional specs would help immensely.
    Stats of the computer
This built in May 2011 (summer operational solid with zero problems, with the exception of the GAL Photo screen saver when you return to the office)
    OS: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
    CPU: AMD Phenom II X 6 1100 T 3.30 GHz

    Hello

-Did you do changes on the computer before this problem?

Method 1: Run the Microsoft FIXIT from the link and if this resolves the issue.

Fixed problems with Windows Live Photo Gallery that does not

    http://support.Microsoft.com/mats/windows_photo_and_slideshow_diag/en-us

Method 2: Follow the steps mentioned below that can help you in the matter of fixing.

    (a) open with Windows Explorer %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Themes\(you will find files there are two: TranscodedWallpaper.jpg and slideshow.ini).
    (b) open slideshow.ini > Remove its content > Save changes.
    (c) delete TranscodedWallpaper.jpg (you can substitute your own file of that name).
    (d) restart the computer.
    (e) re - create the slide show and check if it helps.

Method 3: If the problem persists, I suggest to maintain the computer in clean boot mode and check if the problem persists.

A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.
You can read the following article to configure the computer to boot:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
Note: After the troubleshooting steps, see step 7 in binding boot is a way of putting your computer to normal startup mode.

    Hope this information helps.

  • Flash Slide Show - how the 'image loading' message to delete

    Thanks for looking-

I created a simple slide show 2-image created in MX2004.

I would prefer a white rather than this brief loading message.

Is there a setting in the code to achieve this?

    Page is here: http://www.workandpartners.com/WAP/indexnewnav3.html

    TIA

It is not any parameter in the code that appears to control the activity of preloader, so if this could be added, it would probably be a selection of whatever DW interface as for the creation of the show.

It is of no use to you, I took a few minutes and created a simplified swf file by using the two images.  It is a static piece, which means that you cannot add/edit images for her as the slide show is displayed in support and it does not preload, but it has to go for now... If the quick effort does not kill, my weekend plans.

The zip linked here contains a html page that you can use to copy/paste the embed code in your file, the swf file and a javascript file that must also be in the folder.  In the head section of html, there are two script tags that must also be added to the head section of html to your file.

  • How to save the slide show settings so when I press on Ctrl + enter only what I want?

How to save the slide show settings so when I press on Ctrl + enter only what I want?

    huh?

    R

I tested what you gave me there Rob. On my Mac, I have two monitors:

-Blacken / display slide show on a monitor (the primary monitor, if I move LR in my secondary follow-up, the slide show is still on the first, but the second still works normal with LR just sitting there).

-If I turn off slide durration I manually advance the slides with the right arrow.

-I don't have 'Lightroom' (or with my settings current all) text on the screen.

    -Does not repeat itself.

My Windows machine is not two monitors, but the others work properly...

In other words, until I thought about it differently. As we seek to change the slideshow settings, I was naturally in the slideshow module. But I then remembered that the interest of the Impromtu Slideshow is that you can view the slide show playback from any module. Once I went back to the library and click Command / Ctrl + Enter, then I saw exactly what you're talking about. Both monitors are blackened, duration of the slide is ignored, etc.

You know why? As the Impromptu slideshow uses one of the models outside the slideshow Module. Which one? Well, by default +, of course. How do change you that? Right-click (Cmde) slideshow model you prefer to use and select «Use for Impromptu slide show»

I was told that the file I have must be in WMV format. I tried a converter, but it did not have the required conversion. I can put slidshows together but how to get the updates and other, I'm kind of a total newbie to know what to do. Is there someone out there who can help me try to get this converted so I can view the slide show in the two external accounts I want to use? I don't know if it is acceptable to say what two external accounts I need, because sometimes forums do not allow the names of these accounts unrelated to the issue at hand.

It seems that you saved the file (mswmm or wlmp project
Depending on your version of Movie Maker) that is
useful for a re-release in Movie Maker and cannot be read

Try to save your project in the. WMV Movie format...

    SLIDE SHOW

I have a slide show for my screensaver - is there a way to keep the slideshow rotation, rather than return to his moose start point? I guess what I want is an endless looping of images in the gallery when I have time... Thank you - as you can tell, I'm not good at this

Isn't what you want eventually return for the first starting off of too - it if turns?  Do you really mean that's not displays ALL the pictures in the Gallery, but some subset and want to include the rest of them as well?  Or you're looking for a random show type who do rotate or flip at the start point, but continues to change totally randomly?

I'm not sure that these options are possible, but I want to make sure I understand what you want before researching it.

    Thanks and good luck!
