  I just got off a chat with support.  Mini Bridge is DEAD:

  Extension using Flash panels disappear now that Flash is no longer supported in the latest version Photoshop CC 2014.  Mini-Bridge is an Extension using the Flash panel and should therefore be deleted now. Bridge CC still available as a browser application of stand-alone file for designers and photographers who need to browse files not photographic formats.

  Which has not been updated.  The extension mini bridge used Flash panels. Adobe Flash panel support CC in 2014 suppression.  Photoshop CC was the latest version of Photoshop with the extension mini bridge.  Oil painter has also been deleted.

  Mini Bridge is available in Photoshop CC under the file menu, but it has been removed from Photoshop CC2014.

• Mini Bridge went to the CS6 on my machine

  Not just turned off, apparently, but went completely - Photoshop is kind enough to tell me is not installed. I tried to restore the files from a backup made 12 days CS6 when I know that it worked because I have actually used after this point, but no luck.

  Since no best answer came along, I spent an hour this morning ID and Photoshop - Installer, reinstall Windows Add/Remove doesn't seem to have a repair for CS6 - in order to ensure that the programs and the bridge could be resettled. Seems to have cured a csxs update failure that happened last month, also, which could be the origin of the loss of mini bridge. To try to correct that I had downloaded and reinstalled the Exchange application manager as described in the knowledge base around the same time, I finally used mini bridge.

  We initially set up a computer to be used as our master image. Once we had things as we wanted on this computer we cloned the drive using Carbon Copy Cloner and distributed the main image to 3 other computers for the market trial. Mini Bridge worked very well on the main image. Once we have cloned the master we have changed the name of the user account by default to our intended user of the name following the directions of Apple for changing user account names. Mini Bridge has not worked on any one of the user accounts on computers cloned accounts whose names have not changed. I even tried to create a new test account and it still does not work.

  I did some experiments remove Adobe various associated files and then try to use Mini Bridge until I realized what worked. I found it was I could go to/Library/Application Support / Adobe and help to get information, make the user by default, the owner of the Adobe folder. (They had already read/write permissions). After that, they are able to use the Mini Bridge. However, none of my other user accounts can work with the Mini Bridge since they are not owners of the Adobe folder. It seems that Mini Bridge can work only if the current user is also the owner of the Adobe folder?

  I looked at permissions on the master for the Adobe folder and it said it was owned by the root and belonged to the admin group. On the cloned images, he said it is up to the user by default and it belongs to the personal group.
