  Hmm, that's strange, I don't have any idea of what Satellite L300 is, but generally a L300 series has been pre-installed with Vista Home Premium

  So I m wondering why Win 7 came preinstalled and why you get the Win XP Recovery disk

  Usually the L300 should be equipped with a HARD drive recovery partition containing the image of Toshiba.
  It should be able to recover the notebook using the recovery of HARD drive and this should help you to reinstall the Vista operating system.

  In my opinion that you should talk with your dealer maybe that the laptop was a replacement unit?

  What are appropriate measures for JDeveloper to facility for developing/debugging Sql Developer extensions? Refer to a link from doc, if any.

  The combination that I use (see below) generates serious errors of 200 + during the definition of the 'target platform' of a new project of extension to my installation Sql Dev 4 +.

  1 the JDev and extension versions I use do support the version of Sql Developer as a target "platform in JDeveloper for building/test/debugging extensions?

  2. If it is not then "what specific combinations of JDev and Sql Dev are supported?

  3. If so, then maybe there's a bug in JDev or Sql Dev about the compliance OSGi or version reports.

  I would expect JDeveloper to check the "target platform' for OSGi compatibility and version before trying to import it as a"target platform.

  JDeveloper provides a design environment for the creation of new extensions. However, this environment designtime is created by and maintained by the team of JDeveloper. SQL Developer team has limited entry in there and we don't have any control over the target "SQL Developer" it provides. Unfortunately, JDeveloper 12.1.2 is the latest version of JDeveloper which is offered to the customers, and there are several significant changes to the configuration of products between 12.1.2 and 12.1.3 which affect the extensions. There is no version of the developer SQL which was delivered using JDeveloper 12.1.2 then the target of "SQL Developer" for extensions in JDeveloper 12.1.2 doesn't really work for the creation of significant extensions.

  Just a heads up to the JDeveloper team who can run through this thread.

  As part of the public release of JDeveloper 12.1.3 I hope there will be some sort of statement of support using Sql Developer as a target "platform for developing extensions.

  I will definitely test this version when it is released and will transfer at this time, if there are problems.

  I'm marking this question ANSWER because since then, based on the response of Johns, I'm not sure that any other 'official' answer can be given for the moment.

  But the comments or additions would be more than welcome.

  I have an obligation to update some fields in VO (such as status, date of approval) to the "Approve" button is clicked, I want to know what the good practice of VO update in this case because I see two options for me here.

  How about a combination of the two?
  The requirement is a requirement of the company, the method must be implemented in the model. Use a method in the vo or am for her. This method you expose on the customer interface and then call through the layer, just like you call create method error. After you call the method commit the bean or no later than the point in your workflow.
  You should not call commit inside the method as method then can be part of a larger transaction.

  It works perfectly with After Effects.  But you can get much better features in a desktop machine.

  If you plan to make very complex work or high resolution, save more money and buy a better system.

• Alternative to POS or what is good for backup?

Bladecenter 20 to 30 VM and I don't expect that to go over 50 years at the end of the year.  For backup, I have an IBM x 3550 m3 with 2 TB of space.  I had deployed an ESXi box on it so if can run on a VM device that would be great.  Any help would be appreciated.

• What are good Options for installing Linux on a Mac?

  I have a Macbook Air in 2013 with a SSD 256 GB and 8 GB of memory. I have 80 GB free. I have Hyperacusis and had problems with a noisy computer a few years back, so wanted to avoid noisy readers.

  I need to be able to access my files from either OS X / Mac OS or Linux. This is the biggest problem. If I can't work on the same files in OS X / Mac OS and Linux, I can't really do much with Linux.

  I have trouble with some accessibility problems in OS x:

  1. I have sensory problems and need to disable more animation and more still of the blinking cursor. I used a hack to disable flashing cursors in some applications, but it does not work in LibreOffice, Pages, Mail, etc. It should work in Scrivener, and I plan to spend to Scrivener. He also works in bean and Textedit.

  2. I have problems of coordination/proprioception and could use the wider scroll bars. I currently use Scroll + scroll software, but it doesn't go anywhere. I could use a version of sticky keys, but the current version is not yet there. It shows the active keys on the screen, but I need to update t on the keyboard.

  I will need to avoid some problems of accessibility on Linux:

  Yes, I would say that all VMs are options to save money, I would try to go with oracle virtualbox, it is free I use osx to run a Windows 10 and machines virtual ubuntu it allows me to access the files across, although you mind a program under osx, maybe not 100% safe to use the same format as the same program under linux so that could cause a problem if this is the case.
