  Hmm, that's strange, I don't have any idea of what Satellite L300 is, but generally a L300 series has been pre-installed with Vista Home Premium

  So I m wondering why Win 7 came preinstalled and why you get the Win XP Recovery disk

  Usually the L300 should be equipped with a HARD drive recovery partition containing the image of Toshiba.
  It should be able to recover the notebook using the recovery of HARD drive and this should help you to reinstall the Vista operating system.

  In my opinion that you should talk with your dealer maybe that the laptop was a replacement unit?

• Alternative to POS or what is good for backup?

  It works perfectly with After Effects.  But you can get much better features in a desktop machine.

  If you plan to make very complex work or high resolution, save more money and buy a better system.

• VM comments enterprise backup solutions

  I'm looking for in an Enterprise Backup Solution that will allow me to save guest restoration VM encapsulated the encapsulated Vm Guest and let restores individual files.  What are the current solutions and Vmware or anyone else who is dating a good solution in the near future? The size of the environment has 250 hosts with approximately 15-25 comments on each host.  Current solution is using Netbackup with agents inside the guests.

  I looked vRanger Pro connection but have some questions about this.  Is - this Enterprise Class to support the environment size above?  And for those that use for a large environment how this unloading is workload?  A small box of vRanger connection can't handle the backup of 5000 guests.  After reading the documentation that it sounded like he pushes the backup processing to the source host ESX virtual machine hosting is that correct?  I can then make a fiber optic connection or connection nfs for a camera of deduplication of data on other ESX host in the Cluster and say the task of using these connections on the ESX hosts to transmit the backup on the destination device to store the archive.  Is this correct?

  Of course, I am aware that a laptop can not hope to equal out of office. But since I am not satisfied by the quality-price ratio of Nvidia cards high of current range, I decided to wait until the release of Maxwell before assembling a new desktop platform.

  No. It's terribly slow IMO, being only a dual-core CPU, although with HT, but still low power for HD editing. SD card, it is acceptable, if you get an SSD as a boot disk and a second drive internal 7200 RPM. The standard drive 5400 RPM is good enough to make a backup of...? It is at least 15 times slower than a fast desktop computer. Is it painful? Depends on the pain tolerance...

  Well, you know what you pay for...

  Well, it's not easy to say what laptop is good for the games.
  One of my friends bought a Qosmio laptop and was pleased with the performance. The new portable Satellite are also very pretty performance.
  In my opinion, if you want to play only games and the laptop is not very important for your so I recommend to use the desktop PC.

  The desktop PC is easier for the device and the modernization of the party. You can change the processor and graphics card. The upgrade of the laptop is not very easy, and a few parts such as the CPU or graphics card is not editable.
  Also, graphics cards drivers are very important for the game. Computers laptop manufacturers use non-original manufacturer of graphics card drivers. They design own graphic drivers because of the graphics card, protection against overheating. Sometimes these drivers are drivers of map chart a bit older then most recent original and is not compatible with the newer games.

  I would expect JDeveloper to check the "target platform' for OSGi compatibility and version before trying to import it as a"target platform.

  Same bug exists when you use the last Sql Developer version 4.0.1.14.48 as the target platform.

  John McGinnis has been authorized to provide the definitive answer from the point of view Sql Developer Team in this forum:

  JDeveloper provides a design environment for the creation of new extensions. However, this environment designtime is created by and maintained by the team of JDeveloper. SQL Developer team has limited entry in there and we don't have any control over the target "SQL Developer" it provides. Unfortunately, JDeveloper 12.1.2 is the latest version of JDeveloper which is offered to the customers, and there are several significant changes to the configuration of products between 12.1.2 and 12.1.3 which affect the extensions. There is no version of the developer SQL which was delivered using JDeveloper 12.1.2 then the target of "SQL Developer" for extensions in JDeveloper 12.1.2 doesn't really work for the creation of significant extensions.

  Just a heads up to the JDeveloper team who can run through this thread.

  As part of the public release of JDeveloper 12.1.3 I hope there will be some sort of statement of support using Sql Developer as a target "platform for developing extensions.

  I will definitely test this version when it is released and will transfer at this time, if there are problems.

  I'm marking this question ANSWER because since then, based on the response of Johns, I'm not sure that any other 'official' answer can be given for the moment.

  But the comments or additions would be more than welcome.

  In ESX 4.1, we receive BackupExec Agent installed and regularly backup/etc and the log files.  Wonder if we still have these backups?  If so, how the server BackupExec speaks to the ESXi 5 host?

  Permissions are a legacy feature that predate the acquisition of VMware Orchestrator. When prioritizing the work of documentation required for the vCO 4.0, permissions and policies slipped to the bottom of the list, because these features duplicate functionality that vCenter provides.

  We do not recommend that you use vCO permissions or policies.

  I'm currently looking for backup (about snapshots) for the free ESXi 4 server solutions.

  The backup solution itself could also cost a few euros (max. €200 per server/virtual machine).

  The best would be, if we can run it like for example a cron job on the remote Linux server.

  We already tried Trilead VMX, but it only works on windows :/

• Save metadata to file? What is this good for?

  I believe that file > save metadata to file is not really necessary.  I changed some of the metadata as the legend and notes and I do not choose this option in the menu. Then I look at the file in Photoshop, and the metadata has already been updated. Metadata are updated by itself for JPG files, and the XMP file in RAW files gets updated too without getting something more.

  What is good save metadata to file then? Am I missing something?

  Some types of metadata like captions, notes are written automatically headers file, others, such as keywords, are not.
