What is MirageAgent in Task Scheduler?

What is MirageAgent in... Task Scheduler?

MirageAgent is configured as a task in my task scheduler as well, as part of the multimedia software of my laptop HP Pavilion dv7.  He launched YCMMirage.exe, which is a background process that monitors if any APs using the virtual driver.  If it detects one, YCMMirage will launch YouCam and YouCam will provide and share the video of webcam at the APs customer.

As some have said above, changing the password has a role at the origin of this error. \

quickist fix (instead of changing long ms.config of microsoft) is:

in Task Scheduler, click the scheduled task properties > then settings

    in the last option listed:

"If the task is already running, the following rule shall:

Select "stop the existing instance" in the drop-down list.

    Save and exist.

    This should fix it.

  • What happens when Task Scheduler is scheduled to wake the computer from sleep mode

I have the windows vista Task Scheduler to wake the computer from sleep to run a command script. some tasks in the script work correctly and some do not. This is because the computer is "awake from sleep", whatever that means. This is not what is happening, because the tasks that the batch script runs when the computer is actually on, with display and all are very different tasks, it runs while the computer gets "awakened from his sleep", so what happens exactly when the task schedler wakes up the computer of mode sleep under vista? How is it possible to emulate a real awake state with the Task Scheduler to a State of sleep, according to a schedule?

  • Task Scheduler... What are these tasks and that they planned?

Initially, MSE does scan automatically as I had planned that he... .and then there is two days, he stopped. I have switched between the options [run while you are logged in, but not using it]... and makes no diff.

Then... I looked around and stumbled upon Task Scheduler (that I used to twist a lot during my years XP) and was stunned to see 15 tasks scheduled to run on different times and different triggers... indefinitely. I don't know any of them, and I did not had everything, or the other. I noticed that I slowed down when he was running. Then I disabled all.

48 hours later, my PC doesn't seem different (I expect event catastrophic/s)... MSE is still running is not on calendar (which is quite ok with me, because I decided that I would really rather run it when I want).

Question: What are these tasks and why they operate indefinitely?... .and that at the request of their? And why disabling does not seem to matter? MSE is responsible for any of them?

BTW, registration of WMC would prevent Autostart MSE? (Because on the two failed retirements, WMC has arrived to save)

    Hi Coolnewyorker,

Your question on "that them regular '-the answer is Microsoft.

Scheduled tasks, include the restoration of the system, Defragmenter to Windows, Windows troubleshooting, Windows Customer Experience. You will also find tasks to check the health of your PC. It's to name a few.

With regard to disabling them does not make any difference, you might find that not much, if anything, is actually scheduled for work when you really are on your PC. In many cases, most schedules run at about 02:00 or, in the case of everything Microsoft has planned on my machine, it does not at all simply because my system is stopped when the majority of demand is demand - or at least it used to be. Systematically, I went through them and changed the time when I was online so that information to Microsoft are downloaded - for example files that are created when the PC crashes etc.

About MSE, as most of the applications that run on a schedule, there is a strong dependence on the PC being idle for many minutes before the start of the schedule. If you are running another program, such as WMC in record, the system is not idle, it's registration; so, Yes, WMC record could affect the operation of MSE. • Task Scheduler - what measures will begin to windows speech recognition

At this moment I have a created task scheduler. I have the action:

    Start a program: C:\Windows\Speech\Common\sapisvr.exe

Unfortunately, it does not start recognition voice windows as I want. Also, I tried:

Start a program: the control name / Microsoft.SpeechRecognition

But that no longer works. Any help would be appreciated.

For those who also want to do this, I found the solution. In Task Scheduler, the action should look like:

    Start a program: %windir%\Speech\Common\sapisvr.exe - SpeechUX

%windir%\Speech\Common\sapisvr.exe will be in the program/script box, and SpeechUX - will be in the Add arguments box.

  • My "Task Scheduler" will not display the running tasks since the update to Firefox yesterday.

When I use my task scheduler and select "Display all running tasks", I get "unavailable". The task successfully registered last history was immediately before moving to Firefox 23. What you've done!

I uninstalled Firefox and installed after a reboot, and now everything works again with 23 installed Firefox. The real shame is that most users don't even know enough to even check their planner of tasks or the event viewer for the problems.

  • Task Scheduler task shows as completed successfully, but nothing happened

I have some .bat files I created added to my task scheduler on our server at the fire every day from 05:00.  Tasks run a series of SQL commands and a find and replace the application third for updating a MySQL database that we use for a web application.  SQL event on demand are not an option for us.

When I run the task manually it works fine (I'm an administrator has full permissions), either by double-clicking the .bat file, either by selecting the task in the Task Scheduler task by clicking on 'run '.

Tasks have been reportedly shot every day for more than a week and all history journals say the operation completed successfully, but when I check the MySQL database, that nothing has actually happened.

To add to the confusion, what is happening on 2 3 .bat files that I wrote.  One works perfectly, not.

I have the defined task to "Run if the user is logged in or not", and "Run with the highest privileges" and our server, Windows 2012 R2.

My apologies if I'm missing something obvious, I am a JavaScript/PHP web developer, who was lifted in the server environment and, although most of this is logical on a base level for me, a lot of nuances are lost.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I created a task scheduler with the Security Option to "run if the user is logged in or not."  But he fails even though I am connected with an error value: 2147942403.  If I change the Sec Opt to "Run only when the user is connected", the task will run flawless.

Is there a password the user account in which the task is scheduled?  You cannot schedule a task to run under a user without password account.

You can also take a look at advanced > view the log window scheduled tasks.

  • How to set the MRT to run in Task Scheduler

In my work, I was asked to define Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool to run every month by setting up in Task Scheduler. We have an anti virus already, that we have just been asked to do what more than protection. I don't know how manually pull up of mrt and select full scan, but how can I put it to run automatically on the pc in the Task Scheduler without that person having to be there to start the program. I like it to auto-start, scan and nearby without that person having to be there to do it. We use Windows xp. Can someone help me?

Maybe I'm missing something here, but "Microsoft releases an updated version of this tool the second Tuesday of each month and the need to respond to security incidents" If you really want to plan the MRT you downloaded in March to run each month until December.

The MRT is included in the updates on "Patch Tuesday".  It runs automatically when it is first downloaded.  How is your company on the regular critical updates?

    Hello syncere99,

    1. What is the user account in the Task Scheduler are you for the work you are trying to use the Task Scheduler?

The error code indicates that the user account that was used to create the job no longer exists. This could be because the user account is deleted. I suggest that you remove and re-create a job and check if you have the same problem.

    Hi PC31,.

I have a few questions so that we can better help you.

Have you ever been able to create a task?

    • Click Servicesand select run as administrator of
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click continue

If this does not resolve the problem, you can use the System File Checker tool.  Please follow the instructions below.

To run the System File Checker tool, follow these steps:

Click on the Start ORB and type cmd in the box start the search

    • Right-click cmd in the programs list, and then select run as administrator.
