I am looking for help know how much % of the battery power I currently have... and all I get is for the life of the battery options
If you hover over the battery icon in the system tray of taskbar and just hold the mouse for a while (don't click, just hover), a small box will appear with the remaining specified battery power percentage.

Satellite 2450-201 does not start with battery power
Can someone help please, I can not turn on with the battery at all. When you plug the AC, the laptop powers up without problem. And after the intitial power on, I can get to the battery without any problem. But it won't let me power up via the battery at all.
Can someone advice, is there some settings that will help or do I need a new battery?Hello
What about the battery charge status?
The battery is fully charged?Try unplugging the power adapter and remove the battery from the laptop for a several times (15-30 min) and then reconnect the battery and try to turn on the laptop.
I also think that you should check if the problem also occurs with the new power supply. Eventually, there is something wrong with the battery, and you need a new.
Sorry for these general suggestions but you know, we can only speculate about the problems.

On battery power my Satellite A100-233 runs only 1 hour
Hello
I would like to know if it is normal that the battery lasts 1 hour. Everything I do is either go on the internet or use word doc or power point presentation. I can't watch a dvd without the use of power due to the battery. I would also like to know what battery normally comes with the Satellite A100-233.
Hello
It's not easy to say how long the laptop will only work with the battery power.
Battery working time depends on the use of the laptop!
In your case I guess the laptop should run about 1h30min 1h15minYou Satellite A100-233 belongs to the series of PSAA8E. Am I wrong?
Well, this series was delivered with a 4000mAh battery. As far as I know the price part number indicated PA3399U-2BRS PA3399U-2BASAnyway the 4000mAh batteries are standard and are not very powerful.
If you want to run the notebook much more on battery I advise to use the batteries as:Battery pack high capacity PA3400U-1BRS (Li-ion, 12 cells, 8600mAh)
PA3478U-1BRS extended capacity battery (Li-ion, 6000mAh, 9-cell) -
Satellite A100-225: battery power light flash orange
Last night, plugged my AGES of NINE DAYS by Satellite A100-225, the lights were on, it was working fine.
This morning, woke up, lights were turned off, tried to turn it on, the battery power button flashed light Orange.
Tried to play with the cable by plugging it into other outlets that I knew worked, nothing helps.
Have tried to start without the battery in it, without success.
Unless there is a function that can prevent from starting somewhere, I don't know what to say. This computer is nine days old, and I do not understand how something can just wrong all night.
Adding info if necessary - computer was on when I went to sleep, and was running Mozilla Firefox and WinAMP.
Hello
Perhaps the unit automatically goes in standby mode or hibernation?
On this device, the automatic system standby/hibernation has been reinstalled. This function automatically stops the system when there is no input or material of access for a specified time. You can specify the time and select System standby or hibernation in the base of the Toshiba power saver settings tab.In addition, if the battery LED is flashing it means that the battery charge is low. The adapter must be connected to the battery.
If it of not possible to charge the battery, so there are several possibilities: the battery could be dead, the AC adapter doesn't work or there is something wrong with the hardware of the laptop.Try disconnecting the battery several times and then connect.
But according to your ad you tried a procedure and it doesn t work. So I think you should ask the ASP in your country to help.

Mid-2010 MBP loses battery power while you sleep
Hi everyone, I have replaced my MBP unibody mid-2010 with a spare battery and the laptop battery lost its battery power very quickly, during normal use and while you sleep. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me a different battery, and the same problems continue to occur, so I suspect that something is wrong with my computer at this point.
Above all, I had a second replacement battery installed when I wiped my computer clean and made a new fresh installation of El Capitan and the problem persists. The drain of the battery during sleep is even worse, it goes 100% to near depletion in a few hours.
I have read several threads on these issues but can't seem to find the one that matches my computer behavior or specific settings. I'd love some help troubleshooting this! Can someone kindly walk through diagnostics on this for me please? FYI I already have:
(1) the drive repaired/checked permissions
(2) reset the NVRAM
(3) reset SMC
Thank you all and happy new year!
First, not all replacement batteries are at the height for use on portable Macs what OWC at macsales.com has batteries that are. The other thing is in what regards the battery life is what you do. As these effects for how long you can run on battery power only. Ranging from light to moderate to heavy use. If you have things like an anti virus program on the MBP. It will run in the background. And to a certain extent, even in standby mode. That will exhaust the battery. Mac do not need anti virus programs. The amount of programs running in the background is all to one degree or another effect battery life.

I suddenly lost my taskbar battery/power icon
Original title: the battery icon
I lost suddenly from my bar battery/power icon tasks and cannot change the setting in "Turn system icons on or off.
Any ideas?
You can display the icons of the power-battery permanently in Customizing the taskbar [right click on the Windows icon, select Properties, select taskbar, select the Notification area customize]. Alternatively, you can decide to show only the icon notifications, so that the icon appears only when the battery level drops below what you have set in the power management.

New Lenovo battery power X 61 Tablet although it is completely reloaded
My old battery was barely holding a charge so I ordered a new battery 8 cells of Lenovo. It arrived yesterday. I put in and loaded and worked with the tablet. When I unplugged HQ to move to another room of the screen went black. The Thinkpad had lost power completely despite the new battery. So I plugged it put it back and looked into the Mangager of power that shows the following information.
As you can see that the battery is new, 0 cycles to this topic, is responsible for 96%.
Of course the Thinkpad is connected and can read all the data, but the battery isn't providing power. Anyone know what to do? Is the battery fault? I have to return it for a replacement? Or is there a solution?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I still had the old battery. There seems to be something wrong with the new battery. Lenovo send me a replacement that works and I noticed that the replacement is identical to my old battery (PN T 42, 5209 (ASM) and the instructions accompanying explicitly told to use only FN... 209 or PN... 205. I assume these are the 8-cell and cell-4 versions for my X 61 tablet. The other new battery that caused the problem was PN... 211. I guess that's for a different laptop with the same form factor, but the different technical specifications.
Lenovo has been very quick about it - they send me the new battery and a return label to the other battery that I gave to the UPS driver.
