What is the 'Content' disk 4 disk?

I searched here and on line and found no explanation for what's on the 'content' disc disc 4, which has its own place. I looked at the disk and I don't see graphic files or whatever it is to give an indication, or that I could find all Readme files that explain what's on the disc. I really want to install a bunch of stuff I can not want or do not want. Can someone please list what comes on this disc or what features are added to Premiere Elements with the installation of the 4 disc?  Thank you.

Content drives contain everything (SD and HD) described here:

Material of Baring emits what is the largest disk Windows 2000 Workstation, able to work with 500 GB disks, will be able to work with?

    James,

There are a few things to think about here:

    • NTFS can support 256 terabytes
    • MBR disks can support 2 Terabyte drives
    • Dynamic disks are not limited to the MBR 2 Terabyte limit
If my understanding is that if your drive is formatted in NTFS and you have a dynamic disk, Windows 2000 can support up to 256 terabytes. For more information about dynamic disks, seeworking with basic and dynamic disks.

  • What is the Scratch disk fragmentation?

I edit TIFF image with many layers that range in size from 50 MB to 90 MB. With only 4 GB of RAM, my system relies heavily on the performance of work for these large files disk. I have a SATA HDD internal nonsystem with a volume of 80 GB dedicated as a scratch disk.

I read that it is important that the work disk is defragmented. I also heard that Macs defragment automatically, less than 20MB files that I think not helps me a lot.

My questions are, does Photoshop CS4 remove/delete the files on the drive to work after an editing session ends and PS is closed and then starts with a 'clean slate' when reopened? Or do all work record drop just stack upward into pieces over time, which tend to fragment the drive working? If so, should the work disk be reformatted (erased) on a regular basis? Thank you.

Fragmentation doesn't matter much on a dedicated volume.

"Scratch disks" tend to fragment if they are shared with other files (the operating system, data files, etc.).

Zero access is pretty random, so defragmentation does not have a big difference.

And if the files are deleted, the disc is not any fragmentation of talk anyway.

Yes, scratch your files are deleted when the application terminates, or even when it crashes.  Absolute worst case, is that the OS will clean up files when the system restarts.

So, if you have a dedicated scratch disk: don't worry about this.

If your scratch disk is shared with the operating system and other pieces: well, if you are concerned about performance, you might want to it from time to time, defragment or buying a dedicated disk...

  • SSD in new ALX R4 installation and what makes the startup disk

Have just ordered a new R4 ALX. Would have preferred to order a combo HDD SSD, but Dell didn't, this combo and the largest SSD they available was 512 GB.

Thus, when the new PC arrives, I intend to install a 840 Samsung 1 TB mSATA SSD EVO (using an Icy Box 2.5 "to 3.5" HDD/SSD converter).

YouTube has a video showing how:

So, how can I make the SSD the startup disk and the backup HARD drive?

Re-install the operating system? Can I clone on the SSD HARD drive, then change the boot order? Something else?

  • WHAT IS THE BEST DISK CLEANER FOR A MIDDLE-2O12 MACBOOK PRO?

I have a mid-2012 MacBook Pro 13-inch (OS X El Capitan v. 10.11.2). Up to 8 GB of memory, I improved last month. The processor is Intel Core i5 2.5 GHz. It has a 500 GB hard drive and I have about 417 GB of free space available.

I would like to know which disk cleaner would be the best for me to use? I read on CleanMyDrive 2 and I want to know if it is really as good for Macs as they say it is.

None. Your Mac runs the maintenance in the background for you. The so-called Mac utility for cleaning can cause more harm than good on a Mac. Avoid them.

  • PowerEdge r.620: What is the HARD disk preinstalled?

    Hello

Our new PowerEdge R620 comes with a 1 to drive, which has a "OEM", size 39 MB partition, and a partition of 2 GB empty labeled "OS".

What is in the OEM partition? Should we save it before you install the OS? I couldn't find this in the documentation for manual or other owner.

I want to install VMware ESXi. The installation program detects something on the disc and asks if it's ok to delete it...

A related question - where is stored the iDRAC and all the GUI setup cute stuff?

    Any advice?

    -ddbug

IDRAC, the lifecycle controller and BIOS GUI are stored on the motherboard not on the discs. The OEM partition stores the system diagnostics, it is recommended to not delete it, but it won't work without it.

  • What is the SATA disks SATA II a1600N support at full speed?

    The specs indicate if SATA I or II, 150 MB/s ports (1.5Gbps + overhead) or 300 MB/s transfer speed (3.0 GB/s + overhead).

I need to know before I'm probably wasting money on an SSD up to 285 / 275 MB/s read/write speeds.

Thanks for any helpful info. I don't have the system here. It is up to the customer, considering the upgrade.

    Hello:

After your response to Mumbodog, I'm almost afraid to post an answer to your question.  But in the interest of helping each other, I will.

No, the motherboard in this PC isn't compatible SATA II, as it is.  However, I found this post interesting on another forum that indicates on the motherboard SATA transfer speed can be forced to SATA II, because apparently the chipset can support, if you do a few mods software.

    http://www.hardwareheaven.com/motherboards-networking-Misc-Forum/131877-a8m2n-la-nodusm3-various-HP-Media-Center-systems.html

Now, I'm by far no expert. I can't do this mod will help with an SSD. I'll let you decide that.

However, the motherboard on this PC, does not support 3.0 GB/S, only 1.5 GB/S transfer speed, unless it can be modded.

How to use Recovery Disc Creator and what is the main function of Recovery Disc Creator?

    Hello

I guess you didn't read the manual again because it explains quite well what is the recovery disk creator.

However, this tool creates the Toshiba restore disk. This disc contains a picture of the factory settings. This means that the Windows operating system that is pre-installed with all the drivers and tools of Toshiba. It of easy to use (just boot from the disc), simply follow the instructions on the screen.

For example, if you install another Windows or Windows peut t start you can use this disk to recover a system that works.

    Hello

Recovery partition is your last resource which allows you to return to the factory settings, BUT if you want to remove to use for other things you need to create a set of recovery DVD or you can use Flash firstdrive. The following link is for Windows 7:

    For Windows 8:

  • Changing the content ID method

    Hi all

What about the content ID of the content whether active documents/web or etc.

During export/import content, is there a way to change the content ID to something else batch and no severance of the relationship with the Site that use web/content or other assets?
for example. Initial content for content ID is ABC_XXXX01 XYZ_XXXX01where ABC and XYZ view the prefix and the XXXX01 is to refer to the sequence number

Or what is the common/practice method to change the content for an entire site id?

    Thank you

Or what is the common/practice method to change the content for an entire site id?

In general, archive them is option one here - you should be able to define export/import content items and to define the logic of transformation as part of it.

I don't know everything, if it maintains the link also to WCM objects. For example,.
-you have a static list, referring to a piece of content, which now has a new ID, or
-you have a region assigned to a content element, now with a new code.

It should be relatively easy to identify.

UCM 11 g since, I think, PS3, also contains an export/import feature a Web site. So, you could also try this one.
