What is the dfstracingon variable?
One of the variables on my machine, using Vista32, includes a variable set dfstracingon = false. I couldn't find anything online about this variable. No idea what it is and what it is?

T2KDEV is set to the type of terminal you are using. If you are using openwindows; Xsun if you use X windows.
Is defined on the type of terminal you are using. Note: If you are using openwindows, you may need to redefine the variable TERM to the Sun (instead of cmd-Sun) and you must run a shelltool ORACLE.
TWO_TASK is located where the ORACLE Server can be found, and will normally be the name of the database instance. This variable allows to simplify the command line to start the ORACLE tools.

What is the interface variable in a method of eating EJB initiated?
Hello
the bellows of code is part of a simple example of EE 6 of the book of Yuri Vasilievs focused on the database from the beginning...
Can somone tell me when the bellows of the customerSession variable will be initiated in the bellows of class CustomerSessionClient.
When I run theCustomerSessionClient (main method) in my environment of netbeans, the customerSession is always null?
Below first class of the interface, then the CustomerSessionClient class
package ejbjpa.client;
Import javax.ejb.Remote;
/**
*
* @author xxx
*/
@Remote
public interface {CustomerSession}
public String getCustomerAddress (Integer customer_no);
}
Import ejbjpa.ejb.CustomerSession;
Import javax.ejb.EJB;
/**
*
* @author xxx
*/
public class CustomerSessionClient {}
@EJB
Private Shared CustomerSession customerSession;
Public Shared Sub main (String [] args) {}
System.out.println ("billing address of the customer whose id is:" + customerSession.getCustomerAddress (1));
}

It will never be initialized.
When I run theCustomerSessionClient (main method) in my netbeans environment customerSession is always null?
I agree.
It is just a command line client. It does not execute in an EJB container, so the @EJB annotation never takes effect.

Hi all
I am new to TestStand. Still in the learning process.
What are the parameters? How are Variables differenet? Why we can not use variables to pass data to one sequnece to another? What is the advantage to use parameters instead of Variables?
Thanks in advance,
LaVIEWan
I'm sorry... I discovered that... its not at all possible to pass data to another sequence using variables... it must be through settings... once again I apologize for the display of such a stupid question

Can what method/class/object I use to send data to the form variable to BradySoft? I have a basic configuration of BradySoft label and I want to send it data of variable shape (a serial number) from Labview ActiveX. I joined guide Brady ActiveX programmers, but can't understand what to use for that.
P.S. I would call Brady or TekLynx tech support on this issue, but they have a strict policy while BradySoft supports ActiveX, but does not provide technical support assistance programming with it. I thought I would try the Forums OR.
Just an update. I could get this to work myself after a few days of playing with it (I suppose that the best way to learn!). I have attached a sample VI for anyone interested. Can we Kudo ourselves?

What is the blue thing in the shared variable?
I'm going thorough a code that has the huge set of shared variables and in some nodes, I find a blue color of brand/thing left bottom just worldwide as shown below. What this indicates?
Thank you
Ajay
I found the answers of my team member. The blue mark indicates in fact a point and a slash ". ------"which means relative sharing Variable target." If the shared Variable is absolute, this indication does not appear. To learn more about the difference between shared variable absolute and Relative target, check it out here. A Shared variable node can be established between absolute and relative assistance
Menu popup (right click the node)-> reference mode.
Thank you
Ajay.

What is the best approach for the upgrade of the DSC-LV2012/LV7.1/DSC static variable tags in several screws running on several platforms? Our system is made up of about 5 PC running Windows 2000/LV7.1 DURATION, the more a PLC and a PDC running XP/SP3/LV2012. About 3 PC publish information from the sensor through tags on the local network to the PDC. Only the main command is currently being upgraded. Basic questions:
1. the other computers running RTÉ 7.1 (with labels) will be able to communicate with the PDC running 2012 (shared variables)?
2. is it necessary for conversion of tags shared variables, or the deprecated legacy tag screws of LV7.1 work in LV2012?
3 all of the main controllers will be screw must be integrated in a project in order to use shared variables?
4 is the only way to do it is to find all the tags and replace them with elements of shared variable?
Thank you in advance with all the information and advice!

What is the best way to remove variables?
I need to remove several variables to repository and the initialization block that contains.
They are not referenced in the company or the presentation layers.
What is the proper way to remove them?
Thanks in advance for any response.
There is no set procedure for Oracle/Siebel.
The RPD does not hurt if you follow or don't follow any procedure.

What is the best way to create the USER variable in BI applications?
I just installled BI Apps and try to integrate EBS R12 with OBIEE 11 g
We have the USER variable that is already defined in the RPD to BI applications.
In the security context init EBS block, I need to set the USER variable, but when I would define it it... He said * 'USER' has already been defined in the variable "authentication." "" USER. "
What is the best way to create the variable USER security context of EBS init block?
(1) remove the existing USER variable and then set a new (in this case, all the places where the variable USER is getting used to the RPD would become < missing >)
And told me that he shouldn't do.
Let me know how it is possible.
Thank you
AshishDisable the existing Init block and then double-click the USER variable and press NEW to create the new Init block
Thank you

What is the variable env LD_LIBRARY_PATH for?
DB version: 11.2
OS: Oracle Solaris 10
Why do we set LD_LIBRARY_PATH?
If my ORACLE_HOME is
All that I need to set for LD_LIBRARY_PATH?$ echo $ORACLE_HOME /u01/oracle/11g/db
What happens if I put the variable LD_LIBRARY_PATH or set so wrong?$ echo $LD_LIBRARY_PATH /u01/oracle/11g/db/lib
If LD_LIBRARY_PATH is required or not depends on how the dynamic links of the kernel loader works ito determine where looking for a shared lib.
The dynamic links Windows loader uses the PATH variable (after first checking the current directory). It seems since the test below that Linux needs the whole LD_LIBRARY_PATH
// current setting /home/billy> echo $LD_LIBRARY_PATH /home/billy/instantclient_10_2:/usr/lib/firefox: // sqlplus loads fine /home/billy> sqlplus SQL*Plus: Release 10.2.0.1.0 - Production on Thu Nov 24 11:38:59 2011 Copyright (c) 1982, 2005, Oracle. There is also a variable SHLIB_PATH used by some Unix flavors... could be pre-Posix maybe? Remember that this has been used on older kernels of 32-bit HP - UX.
If the ldd command (or similar) is available, this is a good way to check the requirement of library of static linking of an executable and the question of whether the loader can find the library files required on the disc.
