What is the different NIC Teaming policy between vSwitch properties setting and Port-Group

Hello

I know that there r two ways to set NIC Teaming policy: vSwtich or Port Group.  What is the different?

Who is the highest priority?    Could the port group properties overrides the setting of vSwtich? Or just inherit.

    Hello guys. I need help on the NB550D. What is the different between the NB550D-109 and the NB550D - 10G? Is just the color?

    I checked the specifications and I find no difference. Both models have the same part number, so both belong to portable computers with the same hardware configuration. Thus, the difference can be color only.

    What I see is the 109 NB550D offered in more countries than NB550D - 10G.

    Can someone tell me what are the different objects in pl/sql

    What do you mean by PL/SQL objects. There are only database objects. And they are

    Table
    Index
    View
    Procedure
    Function
    Package
    Sequence
    Materialized view

    What are the differences between the procedures and functions

    1 function return values and procedure not
    2 function can be used in SQL procedure cannot be used.

    Where are the functions and stored procedures

    In the database. In the tables of the dictionary.

  • What are the different ports used by BTA?

    Having recently had 'fun' to getting a load agent working in our secure local network, I was wondering if someone could clarify what are the different ports to/from?

    I am aware of the following:

    9001 actually mentioned when you configure a load agent
    1099 mentioned when you configure a data collector
    1098 -? necessary for the agent to load (I would hazard a guess to this also being the collector of linked data)
    4444 -? necessary for the agent to load
    7071 -? necessary for the agent to load

    I had also the following ports was told by looking at similar issues (but they didn't need opening in my recent exercise):

    7073
    8083
    8088

    I also suggested that information added to the knowledge base article (Doc - ID: 787226.1) because they may need to open on the firewall.

    Ian

    Oracle.port.RMI = 4444
    Oracle.port.http = 8088
    Oracle.port.empstart = 9001
    Oracle.port.uil2 = 7071
    oracle.port.dataCollector = 7073
    Oracle.port.WebService = 8083
    Oracle.port.JNDI.rmi = 1098
    Oracle.port.JNDI = 1099
    Oracle.port.HTTPS = 8433

    You can change the ports

    - \EmpAppServer\server\default\conf\oracle.propertie

    The following ports are used between load tests of Oracle for Server Web Applications and the Machine of the Agent itself:

    * 9001 (the agent communication port)
    * 1099 (Datacollector Comunication Port)
    * 8088 (for running scripts OpenScript)

  • What is the procedure how to make my system image backup and data through Windows NAS Server?

    I work the iMac with bootcamp for Windows 7 - Home Premium.

    I want to return to the system image and data etc. of the 'Windows Back up and Restore' to my Synology NAS (network attached storage). When I do the setting changes, I could not find the option to connect to the NAS, but have only the offer to connect to the external hard drive.

    (1) the 'Windows Back up and Restore' allows to connect to the NAS for the back of my files, in particular for the iamge system? If not, any other method to make the back upward, especially for the system image?

    (2) what is the procedure how to make my system image backup and data through Windows NAS Server?

    Backup to a network location is not supported by Windows 7 Home Premium. Do you need Windows 7 Professional or ultimate edition.

  • What do the different 'SyncOptions '?

    The first thing that is unclear is the SyncOption refers to what happens just to the point that the system is configured to use synchronization, it is how the device will interact with synchronization over time, or both. For example, October 1 the synchronization data are created from my office with bookmarks A, B and C. October 2, I remove my laptop A bookmark and add bookmark D. Then I add my laptop to be a system synchronized with the Merge option. What favorites are in sync and data of the laptop? If later, I remove bookmark B of my laptop, what happens to the synchronized data? (For me, "merge" means the merging of two data sets causes nothing to get deleted, so if my phone deletes B leaving with bookmarks C and D, and the synchronization data have bookmarks A, B and C, data merged on both systems are A, B, C and D.) "Merge" since Sync uses it's never precisley defined and I think you hear in another sense of the word.)

    What "replaces all other devices with data from this computer. Come on people, it's computer and it makes no sense. How can you use language like that. A 'device' can not be replaced by 'data '. Did you mean that the data contained in the devices are replaced by the data on this computer? And if that's what you mean, what happens if these devices are set to 'Merge' their data with Sync.

    I am rather shocked by the way Firefox unprecisely defines these three actions. It's inexcusable.

    Merger means fusion, at the time, that each system is set up. The data on this device are added to the data already on the synchronization server.

    After that all the devices are synchronized with the same data (assuming that all devices have the same types of data selected for the synchronization process). When the user adds or removes a bookmark of device A, this change is sent to the Firefox Sync server. As the other device connects to the synchronization server (like Firefox is launched on this device) "changes" are sent to this device.

    If you have other devices running at the same time, you can see the change of location, usually in a few seconds (or minutes, in some cases).

    "Replace other devices with data on this computer".

    Data synchronization server are replaced by data on 'this computer'.

    The thing that you should keep in mind is that 'sync' is made from to and from the Firefox Sync server, not between different devices. The server is the "pivot" and all your connected devices are "spokes".

    Whereas a keyframe between the first and the last keyframe of the clip...

    I can get the diamond dark all (keyframe)

    a. creating a key image that gives the black half Diamond White/half (type icon that represents the method of linear interpolation)

    b. right click on the keyframe and change the interpolation to something else, such as Bezier method.

    c. then placing the method of linear interpolation.

    But this diamond dark keyframe automatically to clear and is clear when I here a click of an empty area.

    Bottom line, according to my findings: the type of keyframe icon in the box show/hide keyframes gives information about this picture-key, including the interpolation method and controls the position of the key frame.

  • What is the unit of allocation best partition optimized for games and other files?

    Original title: Dear lads! I'm buying a Western Digital Caviar Black 500 GB, and I intend to optimize my HARD drive

    I want to tell you, what I usually use my PC, so you can help me with the allocation units, partitions and the locations of the page file.

    -Use computer games for most of my quality time. I wonder, what is the unit of allocation best partition optimized for games
    -I download and download a large number of files. I'll create a separate partition for this kind of data?
    -I'll have access to 2 different hard disks the following day. Will I dedicate entire storage for the pagefile? (I've got GB of physical RAM)
    Thank you in advance for your time and suggestions!

    «Also, I would like to know, if I needed a file at all, or I could skip just use it, because I read something like: pagefile is mainly used for memory images, which I don't really need (some have suggested, you don't even need it on servers).»

    When you move the pagefile to another PHYSICAL disk, you should always leave a little on C, perhaps 500 MB, for things like memory dump files. Next, you define a "system managed" pagefile on the other disk.

    It never makes sense to totally eliminate the swap file and don't forget that the swap file is not a Microsoft invention designed to shoot to the top of the hard drive space. OS UNIX, Linux and Mac too, independently use the totals of RAM...
