  Hi Daniel,.

  There are a few differences between the two options-

  Place is used to add content to the page (rendered) while to add files to download... is used to transfer files to your site, but not on the page (not provided).

  The placed images are published to the folder/images from the server while images added using Add files to download... option are posted to the liabilities on the server folder.

  Placed images have a chance to get famous (if resized/interpolated in Muse) to publish all images added using Add files to download... keep their names.

  Can be used to add file formats limited as jpg/png/psd/swf/oam etc so that you can download almost any type of file using Add files to download...

  You see not contained in the drop-down list of links placed for binder files added using Add files to download... appear in the dropdown links so that you can bind to them and allow the download.

  The two serve different purposes and add files to download... is preferred by Widget developers because it gives more control over the downloaded content and insurance this file location and name will be as expected.

  Hope that the above gives you clarity on the fundamental difference.

With graphical interfaces, there are always several variables and controls/indicators that must be initiailized. What is the best method to do it? It works perfectly, but seems just ugly... It would be better to throw all this in a Subvi or at that time here have I not to worry about all the references etc...? Ideas and best practice tips are needed/appreciated.   Yes, you do not have to merge all the clusters of error, just a thread running on the while loop is good enough, as you have done. In this code snippet, the loop on the right has to wait the one on the left to complete before running. If you disconnect the terminal error however, they run them both at the same time.

  Try changing it to:

  background-image: url('Assets/HeaderTemplate.png');

  Also make sure you have the case appropriate for file names: for example

  Assets = active

  HeaderTemplate = headertemplate

  etc etc.

  Sometimes these things create problems.

• Why are my other computers not visible in "my network places"?

  OS: Win XP Home, XP Pro, Win 7 - my problem is with the installation of apparently weak network of the window (I don't know the correct terms)

  This had listen to me for years because I learned how to set up a small home network.

  I have 5 computers in my home office, all members of a WORKING group, and all with the same line DSL for internet access; I use a DSL modem connected to a wired router / wireless when a print server is also connected: I don't have a problem with internet access and printer at all (thank God for that).

  What bothers me a lot, is that a computer is visible intermittently in the network: I have a desktop computer that serves as my main production machine, an old IBM T23 used so much that my music server, 2 other laptops (XP & W7) and a desktop Apple computer.  That's what music/T23 server intermittently visible/available - what happens in the world is going on here?

  For once, I used Ubuntu & OpenSUSE and I never had this problem - i.e. all computers are ALWAYS visible and all records are accessible - ALWAYS (that made me say earlier that the installation of the network of the window is low).

  To access another computer, regardless if this computer is displayed in the my network places, network card, etc.:

  1. press the Windows key + R .

  2 type the name of the other computer in the Open: box in this format:

  \\computer

  3. press enter .

  I have a HP Deskjet 2540 printer that is configured to print using the USB cable, and I have no problem printing through it. I just bought a router (D-link DWR116) and I'm trying to set up the connection to the router wireless to my printer. When I use the printer setup & software and select the option "convert a connected USB printer wireless", I can choose to enter into the setting of the printer access the router automatically or manually. These two will come with the same problem where the program is my name SSID of the router successfully but then failed to connect to what the SSID is not found.

  It comes on it comes up with the error message:

  Question: You have manually entered the name of the network (SSID) cannot be found.
  Solution: Check that your wireless router is powered. When to manually enter the name of your network (SSID), make sure you enter exactly including upper and lower case and spaces.

  Which is meaningless because it came with the SSID earlier and I chose what options the wireless network available. I tried to manually enter the SSID, but after entering the password for the router, the same error message appears.

  In fact, I solved the problem. Something about the wifi light on the printer. It can not be flashing, I don't know what the blue light flashes on the wofo of the printer, but I don't think that it means that the wifi is on.

  Hi alioscia,.

  For all of these measures, you probably better off using an NI WSN-3226 if you want to measure all parameters in one place. You can use a shunt resistor and apply the Ohm's law to calculate the measure 4-20mA.

  I tried for awhile now to set up a Control Board.  I can connect to my remote panel of computers from other computers on my local network but nowhere else.

  Whenever I use web publishing tool gives me a URL in this format: Http://Computer-Name.Corporate-Name.local:8086 / VI - nom.html apparently it means I have a local DNS server and this URL is meaningless to the public.

  When I try to connect with the Operate > Connect to... remote control, I get this error message:

  "Connection to Server remote panel...".
  "Connection refused by the server remote control specified: make sure that the LabVIEW Web server is enabled on the specified server.

  I got the same error when I tried to host a remote panel from my laptop at home, on my Wi - Fi.  Is there some network settings or firewall I'm not seting?  Would it be my server or the router or the private network?

  My goal is to be able to host remote panels of my laptop while I'm on the international scene, creating using 4 G internet mobile.  Is it still feasible?

  As he Turners on my router had to be put in place so that my Port is in the rage of transfer.  Also I had to disable DHCP.  Without that you cannot host behind a router.

• My emptiness of my network places, but the networking seems fine

  So, I'm having a bit of a problem that seems to have an impact on all computers on my home network (XP pro x 64 SP2, XP Home SP2, XP Home SP3, XP Pro SP3). Everything worked fine for a year, or while I was at home and then all of a sudden, in recent days, this problem has hit. I can't connect directly to one of the shared folders on my network through my network places. There are more all shared folders showing up there. I try to search the network for shared folders manually by opening the entire network-> Microsoft Windows network (slower than normal here to find my task force, WORKING group)-> WORKING group. Once I try to open my workgroup, he waits a while and then I get the error: "the Working Group is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. The list of servers of this working group is not currently available. ". Note that all of my PC of in this working group.
  Internet works fine on all computers, and I can access any shared drives I have been mapped (or enter the path network in Run and open it) and can ping other computers on the network, so I don't think that there is no problem with the network card, and it happens on different computers with different network cards 4 so it is hard to believe that everything has been corrupted somehow. The only thing I can think is that I have automatic updates turned on and maybe MS has released an update that caused this problem.

  Has anyone seen/heard something like that? Any ideas what could be the cause or how to fix this? Measures to try? This isn't a critical issue, as I said I can still access shared folders, just map them or something, it's just frustrating that something that used to work find just stopped, suddenly, with no good reason and everything I can think told still seems to be fine...

  Thanks for the reply.  I would in fact already found this page through previous research and tried some of the suggestions out there on several of my computers (no luck).  However, the problem is that this page is for lack of network connections and is not really my problem.  My network connections appears fine, it's just the shared network folders that do not appear in "my network places".  I can still access it directly (mapping the path to a file, or enter the path in 'Run'), but I don't have the ability to browse the network more.

  I just wanted to point that the issue seems to have resolved itself, on all computers.  No idea what caused it or what fixed it, but it's that everything works well again.  Thank you Jack for trying to help!

• The files in My Network Places keep endangered

  Our 5 and 1 server systems are hard wire networked. 6 all units are under XP something. I'm running Pro. Several months ago I have had to open my network places, and then went to the other room to get a number of drawing I got on the server. When I returned, the MNP window was still open, but all the icons disappeared. Nothing but white was left in their place. I tried opening and closing the window a couple of times which didn't help, then I rebooted a couple times and that didn't help either. About an hour later, I opened MNP again and the connection that I had needed was the only link that came. After a bit, I closed the window of the MNP and reopened. This time 3 icons came. At the end of the day, everything was back to normal. Maybe twice since not all icons will present, but everything would be back to normal very soon. This morning, I had windows of the NPM to open, had one of the connections open and worked in one of the folders when simply disappeared. No one else here seems to be affected by this problem. Suggestions, ideas or comments that all care to provide everything that can happen and of course suggestions for corrective actions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, K.

  You can try to drag /System/Library/CoreServices/CoreTypes/Contents/Resources/TrashIcon.icns into the window read the information for the Alias. Upper left corner.
