    Hi all

can we create a measurement base shaved with hierarchies?

What is the user of the column option (global content group by) on the content tab

When I select the option column, under table I can find at any table and logical column section all the columns in the table

It is only for the aggregation tables (content tab (content global group, by)?)
or any other use of it?

    Thank you
    Françoise

    Françoise,

Example of creating Sources for each level of aggregate data is

In addition to creating the source of the table of facts together, you create sources table logical dimension corresponding to the same levels of aggregation.

NOTE: If already exist sources at each level, you need not create new ones. You must have a source at each level specification total contained at least referenced.

For example, you might have a monthly sales table containing a precalculated amount of revenue for each product in each store each month. You must have the other three sources, one for each of the logical dimension referenced in the example tables:

Another for the logical table produced with one of the following contained specifications:
    o by logical level: ProductDimension.ProductLevel
    o by column: Product.Product_Name
    * A source for the logical table of store with one of the following contained specifications:
    o by logical level: StoreDimension.StoreLevel
    o by column: Store.Store_Name
    * A source for logical time table with one of the following contained specifications:
    o by logical level: TimeDimension.MonthLevel
    o by column: Time.Month

  • Is it possible to create a variable that tells you what slides, the user has visited?

    Hello.

I'm working on a project where I want a slide to display a button continue and hide the 2 areas of text, but ONLY when the user has already visited 2 other slides. I can only find variables indicating the slide the user previously visited.

Is it possible to set a variable that does this?

I want to create the following advanced measures:

If the user has visited slides 62 AND 87, image_536 to show and hide text_caption_243 and text_caption_242

I don't want action be executed if only 1 2 slide have been opened - it must occur when the two were opened.

    Hope that makes sense.

    I use 7 Captivate.

    Thank you.

You will need two variables, it can be Boolean values. I will label them v_one and v_two with a default value of 0

Because I don't know how the slides are formatted, do you use a Next button or are all visited media executives? You will need to have an event on the two blades to trigger an action:

    Assign the v_one with 1 slide 62

And a similar action on the other slides to alternate v_two (do not use the toggle command, if the user accesses a slide twice, it could be toggled to 0).

You do not specify where these text containers need to be (please, label your objects and slides)? But you'll need advanced conditional action triggered by another event somewhere:

IF v_one is equal to 1 AND

    v_two is equal to 1

    See the Text1

    See the Text2

  • What is the setting point in v2 profile us Web Coated Swop of gain?

    Hey guys,.

This may seem a bit of a n00b question, but I really can't find that info all what I Googled it.

What is the point of setting default in v2 profile us Web Coated SWOP of gain?

    Let me explain my dilemma:

My printer told me to use the US Web Coated SWOP v2 this profile for a catalog that we will print. 4/4 on gloss 100 # book stock. However, I have used this profile in the past and the prints came out darker as I expected. I don't have a printer of high enough quality to be able to test this in-house, but I am sure that my monitor is too bright or set a contrast too high level. They told me that their standard mast is approximately 10-15%

I assumed the SWOP v2 profile 20% fattening as seems to be the default for most of the other color settings, but I've never known with certainty. I am trying to decide if I need to use a custom profile with a highest point gain setting.

    Thanks for any help!

    Kenzier

    Hello Kenzier,

the U.S. Web Coated SWOP ICC profile contains a reproduction of the tones (CRT) curve

which can only be described accurately by Dot Gain or Gamma.

For entry into the color settings > Gray we can proceed as follows:

Color settings > Gray > grey load > (click on) USWebCoatedSWOP.icc > save gray

This saves a 'black-ink-profile' with a similar name, which replaces the Dot Gain

    or Gamma settings.

This profile can be interpreted by the ICC profile Inspector (free) program:

Here we have kTRC (shades of black ink reproduction curve), the red line.

With the diagonal black auxiliary, it reads 20% efficient fattening,

    the blue line.

The printer should tell you a representative profile (a good approximation)

    for its actual process.

  • Reader SDK: is it possible to see what text the user has selected?

I use Adobe Reader SDK with c#, by looking at the characteristics of communication monitor.

I can open a document in the reader and allow the user to the user the reader as select text tools, etc.

Here's the problem: I want my application to know what text that the user has selected.  And I would like to know the name of the field that the user has selected, not only the text of the field.

PIA of Microsoft Office went something like this:

    currentDocument.GetSelectedText ();

Is it possible to do with IAC or javascript or plug in the Player SDK features?

If this is not the case, can it be done with the Acrobat API?  I've looked through the two sets of documents and have not found what I needed.

    Thanks for any help!

To write a plug-in for Adobe Reader, you will need to go through 2 separate steps.

Step 1 - Download the SDK Adobe Acrobat (from here http://www.adobe.com/devnet/acrobat)

and build your plugin against the Acrobat product, following the documentation to ensure that you use only the API that does not exist in the player program. The documentation tells you what version of the Adobe ACrobat program or Reader is required for the function and that the function can be called in Reader.

Second step: apply for a certificate of reader allow your plug-in to be loaded by the player, the link is on the same web page as the link above. This step can be started until you have created your plugin, and I recommend that start you this process before you develop your plug-in like Adobe may refuse to give you the certificate in which case your development would be lost.

Only once you have authorization form Adobe can you do your job of plug-in with the reader app.

Once you have done these two steps there are a lot of people on this forum who can help you with specific problems you may encounter.

If you are not sure of having the knowledge to build the plug-in, there are a lot of people that you can hire to create the solution for you.

  • What is the "User Configuration" password that is requested after the update?

OSX makes an update last night (I'm on 10.11.3) and after it reboot it asked me password "User Configuration", see picture below. I am aware that you can just restart workaround - but as we have seen repeatedly in our office now, we would like to know exactly why it's happening.

Can anyone confirm that this is a bug?

Just press Command + Option + command + DELETE keys and it will switch to full name of user and password.

  • What is the user profile Service?

Sometimes when I start my PC (Windows 7 Home Premium), I see a notice "user profile Service.  You have been logged on with the default profile on the system.  Please see the the event log for more information or contact your system administrator. "I'm the only user of this PC so I am the administrator.

When this happens, my desktop is completely re-arranged and different icons for example the Panel do not present.  However, other days on top of start-up office appears as I put in place and the icons are grouped as I would like.

I take care to close all running programs before using the icon stop to turn off the PC and wait until it has stopped running so I switch off the freezer.

How can I make the start PC "correctly" that I put in place?

  • What is the user-agent of the MediaPlayer string?

    Hi guys

How can I get the Media Player user-agent string?

I need it for when the application requests a video stream via a secure connection (I'll probably make another thread about...)

I thought it was the same as the browser, but it seems that it is another.

I walked into www.thismachine.info through the Explorer and webview of enforcement of a sample and they are the same... I just wanted to be sure.

    Thanks in advance

I made a script php simple, hosted, and here are the results:

    This came from my browser:
    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; RV:19.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/19.0

    These were generated by WindowsMP:
    Windows-Media-Player/12.0.7601.17514

    BB10 Media Player:
    IO-media

    So just 'io-media '...

  • What is the best point in digitizing process to reduce noise?

I'm scanning music and conversations from old tapes in a variety of formats.  LPs from reel tapes that are 40 years of age are surprisingly beautiful after all these years with a package to remove the plate rotating rumble, noise hiss and system type at the same time.  Old good acoustics records jam 4 tracks of reel and cassette (90), as well.

Recently, however, in a package of 4 tracks, the person at the registration rolls ('engineer' does not apply) was the spirit that the warmer the better signal.  We have found that we can save to the low output of the TEAC level to avoid clipping etc. (it is what it is), but once all the "capture" is made, we wonder when it is best to remove the noise.  The transfer chain extends from the A3400 TEAC (machine used to record) in the first two channels of two Presonus FP10s (for unbalanced inputs) and in the 'recorder' PC via Firewire.  We post-process, for most inversions (Yes), but amplification (+ 12 db and more) the slopes to bring the signal up, which will also amplify the noise that is present.

THE QUESTION: Is it better to amplify and then remove it or do it before amplification?

I don't know that there will be other issues past this obstacle.  Some of these bands are garbage, but, by lack of documentation or even sloppy notes, we can not find until it we play and we found that there is less time to just capture everything, like listening the content is easier (and much less prone to damage than strips) on the digital side.  Given that some of them were zero tracks and guide for incomplete songs of the band members who have left us, 'value' cannot be achieved until it is heard.   Only 30 or more rolls and maybe a third of them deserve to be save.  We know that we're going to come with everything that will be more than a snapshot in memory of someone, but the details in to the songs and the missed votes will be worth it.

    Thank you

THE QUESTION: Is it better to amplify and then remove it or do it before amplification?

It's a good idea to standardize everything first, then remove the noise. Standardization is really amplification but automatically sets the gain so that the highlight is purchased a set level. This is usually set to something like - 1dBFS. If you do it the other way around you never know how much noise you hear when you make subsequent amplification. As usual, try and make your reduction of noise in several passes to the smaller reduction rather than trying to do everything at once. This reduces the likelihood of unwanted artifacts.

  • What are the anchor points

    When to use the anchor?

Anchors are used to reference sections of a page. They are used in the same way as regular links to URI (menus, buttons, etc.) but will take you to a place on the page (or another page).

Anchor points are generally used on single page sites.

  • What is the significance of the points/status in the forum

I've worked with oracle since 1992, and yet I still have no idea how the thing of points in for a job. (Obviously it has not seemed to be of great importance or I would have asked this question early :-)  But ok, for what reason if points are awarded? I noticed that the forum now has a list of "participants" in the order of 'status' which seems to be random and not in the order of points or how much bling they have on their icon. The champion of the oppressed, said "good". So where people cash in their points? Just curious.

    From there:

    https://wikis.Oracle.com/display/Forums/Forums+FAQ

    What are the "reward points"?

It is possible for you to reward an answering machine for a 'helpful' answer 5 points or 10 points for 'proper' (or not at all). Users who accumulate in certain amounts of points reached different levels of recognition (see legend). In this way, users who are always useful or appropriate answers raise their position in the community. (Note: in order to assign the points, you must identify your message as a "question" first, which is defined as the default value.)

So where people cash in their points? Just curious.

I'm also not sure right now. I threw myself by the last bar where I tried to pay with some of my points, and the coffee dispenser also constantly of my offer still ignores all my points for a small cup.

Seriously, they are more valuable. With X points you get an another badge right display to your handle, and also if you are in the top X of a forum you are displayed in the list of participants top of page (very similar as with the message previously counter) forum. Others so that they do not have a lot of value.

    see you soon

  • How to pragmatically set the name of the user event?

In LabVIEW 2010, I register a user event during execution by using the function of events Reg, but I want to put the name of the user event, according to the runtime. LV said "If wire you a cluster at the entrance to the data type of the user events , LabVIEW uses the type name of the cluster in the event user name." But I need set the name of the event based on the data that is generated during execution.

How can I pragmatically set the name of a user with data from cluster event at run time?

I can do this by changing the text of the label of the bunch before I use Reg events function?

How will I know what name the user never received?

    Thank you.

I found a viable solution. I can create a user with a name known event. The event that is sent with the event data will include a Source DN string that identifies the sender of the event. The event handler can then handle each event based on the name of the Source. This is equivalent to have several unique named events, is only right they all share a common event data format, which is OK in my case.

    It works very well.

    THANKS for all the suggestions.

  • What is the password for the encryption, securefile lob?

    Hi all
I understand that we can encrypt a table LOB secureFile and we can specify the encryption password:
CREATE TABLE t1 ( a CLOB ENCRYPT IDENTIFIED BY foo)
    LOB(a) STORE AS SECUREFILE (
    CACHE
    );
    CREATE TABLE t1 (a CLOB)
    LOB(a) STORE AS SECUREFILE (

    What is the password?

    Kind regards

This is the part that I don't understand, why would anyone specify a password does not not a default one.

The user that is granted to select the encrypted password has no need to specify a password when you select the column to the table. What good by specifying a password?

What of the user who is not granted to select data from the data files in this table, who steals the hard drive and hacks. Would you want your data by encrypting with just the default encryption, or you want to make it more difficult for them?

The password you have is the certificate you are installing. The name of user and password you need to connect to the user interface is Administrator and password. You can assign the role of RE userinterface access to any user through the /AdminUI.
