What is the largest size SSHD I can put in my Macbook Pro 2015?
I have a model early 2015 MacBook Pro 13 w/retina with 8 GB of RAM with a 128 SSHD. I want to upgrade the SSHD and I have a few questions:
1. What is the largest size that I can install it?
2. how to re-install the operating system?
Thanks in advance for your help... I apologize if this question has already been asked, but I couldn't find the answers.
Technically, SSHD refers to a drive of Fusion purchased in-store, with a rotating part (the hard drive) and a Solid State Drive, all in one package.
I think you meant to ask about Solid State Drive or SSD. That's all that will fit in the MacBook pro 13 - in 2015.
Line of OWC/Macsales Aura of "stick" form factor drives go up to about 1 TB at a price:

I bought a new laptop over the weekend (15-ab121dx - CPU AMD A - 10 p 8700, 6 GB of DDR3 RAM memory) and the sales associate could not tell me the max supported RAM. I guess I could quickly find the info online, but was strangely wrong... I searched HP and the Internet in general site but can't find what the maximum RAM allowed in this laptop. I'm assuming that the laptop is so new, the information is just not there yet? He came only installed with 6 GB or ram (SODIMM 1 is 4 GB and the 2nd SODIMM 2 GB) and I want to change to 16GB SODIMM (2x8GB) or 32 GB (2x16GB) SODIMM. The problem is that I can't find the maximum supported memory, speed, memory type for my new machine. One of the main reasons that I decided to go with this laptop is I read good things about the A10 AMD 8700 p and that it can work with RAM speeds up to 2133 mhz... But before I buy the fast RAM, I want first of all to ensure that this speed of RAM will work in this laptop? Please list the supported RAM types, size of RAM, RAM speeds for this laptop. In addition, support DDR3L, DDR3, or both? Thank you!
Yes thank you, but the link you have sent (the model computer laptop 15-ab121dx on the HP site) was the first place I checked when I started searching for information on the laptop. It not there no guide service or y at - it clues about the supported RAM configurations. I knew that the price of the machine and the CPU is perhaps a little too good to be true. ... Not extensible user is bad. Looks like the laptop everything would need to be dismantled to even just replacing the hard drive and, to install or replace the motherboard of the laptop RAM must be removed! I should have done more research. But I guess even if I had, I wouldn't have found much (since having to place a post in a forum to know these basic things like access and type of RAM)... I plan to return it. Thanks for the quick responses to the post office - this was appreciated.

What is the maximum size of HARD drive, I use in my dc7600 CMT
I use a HP dc7600 CMT, which works well after the upgrade to a Samsung 128 GB SSD Intel Pentium D 3.4 GHz, 4 GB of RAM and an AMD Radeon HD 6450. I'm under Win 8.1 Pro x 64, with the most recent upgrade and have absolutely no problem. Now, I want to add a second internal HDD and I wonder what is the maximum size that I can go to. I can't go up to 2 TB, or am I limited to a lower number? 1 TB? 500 GB? 250 GB?
Will be happy to help here, especially if he actually tried to apply in practice.
Thanks in advance.
Best regards
Hello:
In theory, you'd be limited to 2 TB.
The biggest HARD drive I have ever installed in my dc7600 CMT was a 1 TB of HDD, so I can't confirm that a 2 TB drive will absolutely work.

Ahh. What is the size of the download. in size...
Do you mean the size of the downloaded Firefox Setup file or the size that Firefox takes on the hard drive after installing the Firefox program?
The downloaded installation program Firefox is about 18 MB.
The installed size of the Firefox program is about 35 MB.The profile folder of Firefox with the phishing protection database and the disk cache can take up to 1 GB of disk space.
- Help > troubleshooting information > profile directory: opens showing the file
See the topic: cache page through the address bar for the use of the current cache.
-
The download starts with Firefox Setup 6.0.2.exe, but I still struggle with "setup" programs that seem to be of reasonable size (it is estimated that 45 minutes to download), but once launched, starts a download of ten hours.
This should be easily accessible information about the site... What is the size of total download if the current Firefox installation package?
Yes, nothing else is necessary.

Satellite 2400-103 - what is the maximum size of HARD drive?
Hi all.
New here.Nobody knows what the maximum hard disk size is for a Satellite 2400-103? This laptop has a 30GB HARD drive which is complete at the moment and I'm moving to a 160 GB unit.
Used software - DiskCopy - clone Moose 30 GB of cloning to the new 160 GB drive. This creates a partition on the disk that is the same size as the original (about 28GB). If the new hard drive is installed on the laptop at this point, the laptop will be start OK. If I use a partition manager - Partition Magic - to resize the partition to the size of the new disc (about 150 GB) then the laptop does not start.
Would it because there is a limit on the size of the hard disk supported by this laptop?
If so, what is the limit?Thank you and best regards.
Mike
Hello!
Satellite 2400 is very old notebook, so I think it has a limitation of LBA 28 bits. This means that you can only use up to 128 GB of free space so the maximum capacity of the disc HARD would be 120 GB. So I think that's the reason why the computer laptop can-t start successfully with the 160 GB model.
In your case I bring back the 160 GB model to the computer store and ask one another 120 GB one. It should work normally
Good bye

Satellite Pro 4600 - what is the maximum size of HARD drive?
My age Satellite Pro 4600 has a 20 GB HARD drive. These are now very difficult to obtain, does anyone know if superior capacy HDDs can be used and, if so, what is the maximum size of the HARD drive.
(Despite his age that I always use the Satellite Pro for some jobs).
Hello John
Satellite Pro 4600 is old enough for laptop and it is not easy to find the exact info. The fact is that this laptop comes with 10 and 20 GB hard drives.
My opinion is that you can use 30 or even 40 GB HDD. I think that 30 GB new HARD drive should be enough for your some jobs. What do you think?

What are the data size of the buffer on PX1394E - 3 50
Hello
I bought this drive a few days ago and I'm a little confused on the
the size of the data buffer. The box indicates 16 MB, Toshiba web page says 8 MB, etc...Nobody knows, what are the data buffer size of this model?
Is there a SW or the request to meet with whom?BTW, great car, fast, noise, however, extremely when it comes to finding large files.
Thank you
FranciscoHello
I have lurked around a bit and it seems that your drive has buffer of 16 MB that is absolutely definitely sure. To check the details of your computer, you can use the tool "Sisoft Sandra". You can download [url href = http://www.sisoftware.net/index.html?dir=&location=downandbuy&langx=en&a=] here [/ URL].
After download, just install it and you will get all information about your computer, as the size of the buffer of your external hard drive.
Welcome them

I would like to know if it is suportts Sata drives.Thank you in advance.

The problem is that there is no official information on the maximum size of HARD drive on laptop series different. If we can only speculate on the supported formats.
But I found it here in the forum:
http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?MessageID=93195The user has updated the own M70 with the 160 GB drive HARD Toshiba MK1637GSX and it works.
So maybe this info helps a bit.Good bye

My default hard disk is almost full and I plan to update. What is the maximum size that this model could overcome? Very well is 2-3 to?
Another question.
I replaced my optical drive to a box with a 250 GB SSD HARD drive inside. I installed my new operating system here, and makes the default boot drive. The default value of HARD drive that comes with the laptop is my backup drive. This is configured by okay?
or
Do I have to put my SSD on the default HARD drive space and put my 2 to/3 TB harddrive on the caddy for maximum performance?
Hello
1. in theory, you can get 2 TB or TB but 1 TB has better peformance.
2. you cannot boot from the caddy. My suggestion: use for normal Bay and 2 TB SSDS in the caddy. You both what you want.
3. as (2) above.
Kind regards.
