  • In PeopleCode SQL and view comments

    Question #1

When we get PeopleCode Oracle patches, they will often add comments on top of comments like this

    Original code:

    / * Original commented code * /.

    New code delivered:

    < * new comments.

    / * Original commented code * /.

    * >

The media how the existing comments?

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Question #2

How to add comments to the SQL view?

Yes. Comments in brackets (<* ..="" *="">) on everything including the single line comments (/ *... * /). In general, / *... * / is used for the single line comment (you can also use REM for the same purpose) and <* ...="" *="">is used for multi line comments.

Regarding the comment of SQL, I use generally / *... * / which should support most of the DB platforms. I believe you can also use - but who would comment everything from that time.

    I hope this helps!

  • Premiere Pro management/view comments

I have a few questions about the management and display of comments that are downloaded from first Pro CS5:

    1. Is the only way to navigate through the "parties' an individual review the upper and down arrows and box" # of # "in the upper left corner of the review page? I poked and pushed all around service and have found no other way to navigate directly on a particular review. If I'm missing, please notify; If she's not here, it is something that should be added soon to make it a viable way to send previews to a customer. I have a project with more than 20 sequences/parties in there already, and not not not quick access to a specific part directly goes against already fickle customers.
    2. It depends on the first question, so I think I already know the answer: is there a way to rearrange the order in which the downloaded comments are displayed? For example, I have five exams called A, B, C, D and E and I want them to appear in this order. However, the order they have been downloaded is the order that they are displayed: D, C, E, A, b., it seems there could be a way to do for the reviews/graphics (I don't know about you, like I don't work in this area or use CS Review for such), but I can't find this option for video reviews.
    3. It's more of a feature request than a "How-to" request: we need batch download and coding ability. I don't know if this would involve launch SOUL for background encoding (as does now for local exports), but a significant improvement could be the assignment of priority to encode which are ready to be downloaded. In the example above with the 20 - ish sequences (all about a minute in length), the encoding goes pretty fast on my system - much faster than the download. So, I can get five or six encodes done before the first download is complete. Instead of the queue of the downloads in order, CS Review Committee trying to push each encode to the top of the pipe that it is complete. This makes the process of full download slower it would be if they were downloaded in series, rather than in parallel.

The first and second elements are "gottahaves" If there is no way to do now (I can already hear the grumbling customer now), and the third would be a "nicetahave", so I hope that the feature and the feature updates are available on time. For the record, I like the service - I am really impressed with it - and see great potential in it to make my life quite a bit more easy when it comes to customer relations. I just hope that I'm missing #1 and #2 above, and there is easy access to both method.

(Ironic) BONUS QUESTION: for those of us who are in the video production and won't use CS Review for video content, will be applied to the amount of time between our CS5 registration date and version of the CS Review for Premiere Pro service, so that we receive all of the submissions from our free 12-month subscription?

Thank you for hearing me, and any input you can provide.

    Hello

It's Mike Wallen, the PM for CS Review...

    By your demands:

    1. navigation in the parties to a review using web client: you have found two ways to get there via the arrows and the part number edit box. We plan improve navigation, we have in our next releases. Question: What type of navigation where you expect to find and do not have?

    2. reorganization of parts - you can drag drop pieces to move using the review board. This was missing in the chapter in using CS Review. Good fishing Colin. We are looking at ways to make this more evident in the review panel and the web client.

    3. with regard to background processing and encodes and the prioritization of the upload - we explore with SOUL to a queue of coding. We had not yet considered the use case for prioritizing the upload. Good things. This is valuable information and timely and thanks for the comments. Question: how many simultaneous downloads and what size/duration of the video are typical?

While I can't use or disclose many details of the schedule, know that we are actively working on these points. Fun party services, is that we want to have more frequent releases of functionality as desktop applications.

    Thanks again.

    Mike

  • Enter / view comments using financial reports.

    Hi gurus,

Is it possible to have comments written using financial reports.

    Example:

I've created a report of EN for budgeting. I would like to have the provision to users to enter their comments. the comment could be another grid or another section in the report.

It's something like the annotations in Hyperion planning. Unfortunately, we do not use Hyperion planning retrieve annotations to FR.

Or entered to have bypasses commentory is welcome.

    See you soon,.
    Satya.

    Hi Satya,

There is a new feature in v11, which allows you to add annotations / comments to a report of financial information. It seems to be similar to the function of the cells in essbase text, but if you're on this version it's merit to be studied to see what can be achieved.

If you are using a version earlier than that, i.e. v9.3.x or below so I'm not aware of any way to directly comment on reports financial, though if you use Hyperion Planning we can extract details supporting or Annotations in EN reports. There are two other options available to you:

1 of the sample, Web analysis reports does what you do, he has a table that contains a grid report and another panel that contains the comments that can be added to the / changed by users.

    2. you could get out the report in MS Word using SmartView EN

    Hope this helps

  • What a view to see the place of keyboard doesn't resize in Android, Mobile ADF

    Hi guys,.

Now, I was faced with amx page doesn't resize when pop-up keyboard, so user cannot scroll to several fields below.

BTW, iOS is normal when resize shown keyboard.

    How to solve this problem?

    Hi Frank

Thanks for the reply, I have another question about android with release mode startup performance, I'll send it to you.

BTW on Android resize when keyboard see the place, I can fix it, but it must include in the next version of Mobile of the ADF.

My dose is (thank you JoeHuangway to browse template file Android: Google game store does accept not the ADF Mobile apps for tablets)

    -Access file /JDeveloper/JDev/Extensions/oracle.adf.mobile/Android/Oracle_ADFmf_Framework.zip

-Make a backup copy of the zip file

-Unzip the file, which would be to extract all files in a directory of 'framework '.

    -Navigate to the framework/template/AndroidManifest.template.xml file

-Replace value android: windowSoftInputMode "adjustResize" E.g. android: windowSoftInputMode = "adjustResize".

-Zip up the framework directory and name the file zip as Oracle_ADFmf_Framework.zip, replacing the old.  Please make sure that the zip file has the same directory structure exactly as before.

-In JDeveloper, before you deploy the application, please do a "Clean All" to clean up all the old objects deployment.

    -Deploy the application again

After correction, views is automatically resized when keyboard pop up, but seems weird with the navigation bar which will show you that it include in the view also.

I don't know why the ADF put Mobile android: windowSoftInputMode value as "adjustPan" in the manifest file, under the side Android said as point of view is not resized when keyboard display (Ref: http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/manifest/activity-element.html#wsoft)

  • Old view comments 256 MB RAM too?

I started the installation of NT 3.51 on ESXi 4, but on the second disc (HAL multiprocessor info - like blue screen NT4), the RAM is listed as 256 MB too big.  Yes 32 MB allocated, 288 MB, 64MB read 320MB etc etc.  Probably as a result, it crashes right there.

I tried Windows 3.1 and Windows NT as OS type and something vaguely modern looking in the BIOS disabled.  It's about Buslogic SCSI and NIC flexible

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!  Oh and don't ask why

    Hello

You can try creating virtual computer like hardware version 4 (you must go through the creation of custom virtual computer to do)?  I can't think of any other reason why comments report 256 MB more memory there, except that he is confused by opening configuration PCI Express (which is 256 MB).

  • How to open a PDF file using the built-in Viewer? (Windows 8.1)

When I try to open a PDF file I have the pop-up dialogue "you have chosen to open *.pdf Firefox do with this file? And display in Firefox is not one of the options. I am sure that what is happening is that there is no dialogue, and the PDF has just opened in the integrated Viewer pdf.js. If something is wrong with my profile I guess.

I tried the instructions here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/view-pdf-files-firefox-without-downloading-them

I checked through all my extensions and you do not have open a PDF (I have uBlock, NoScript and Zotero).
    I completely uninstalled Adobe Reader.
I checked that in preferences/Applications, PDF is set to "Preview in Firefox.
I did as I went through: config and change all settings with 'pdf' on their return to their default values
But none of these things work.

Is there anything else I can try to get this working?

I think the problem I had was that some of the PDF files is served by Web sites with a "header" (I don't really know what that means) called "Content-Disposition: attachment", and when this happens, Firefox refuses to load them into the integrated PDF Viewer. (I don't know why Web sites this.)

It is very helpful, especially because Firefox gives no indication as to what is happening (why the user preference for a PDF file is not respected). I just thought that the PDF Viewer was broken and spent hours trying to fix it.

If anyone runs into this problem, there is an extension that fixes it: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/inlinedisposition/

There is a Bugzilla bug open about it: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=773942

As far as I can see, it would be trivial reflect changes the extension above in Firefox. In the bug of no claim that it would be a bad thing to do for safety reasons. But Firefox should at least present the user the ability to open the PDF file in the integrated Viewer or even more at least have explanations on why the PDF is not currently open in the Viewer, for example "this PDF file was marked for download, so for safety reasons it has not been opened in the integrated Viewer. Who would save people like me, who don't know the HTTP headers that are complicated, just think that Firefox is broken.

  • Activity 1.3 comments ISE

    Hello

in the version of ise 1.3 is a possiblity that I can view comments activity and export it via FTP?

I'd like to see is: what user opens what site/service. What kind of activity is the guest made while using our wifi comments.

    Concerning

    Filip

Hello Filip. Such an option is available to the ISE. In addition, only the comments authentication traffic hits ISE. Once authenticated the guest user rail traffic is more of ISE, ISE has therefore no visibility to what the user is doing on the network.

This type of information would be better perceived by your web security appliance. If, for example, if you have Cisco WSA/CWSA.

  • Comments from colleague (using iPad app) showing not when sent me

A colleague said comments (reminder) to PDF using the Adobe Reader app for iPad. He also drew on the PDF notes. When he sent me the file, I could see the image of the comments but could not click to see content. When I click the comments toolbar, it indicates "No comment in this document." Show the notes that have been drawn with a pen. I tried to visualize this file with Acrobat Pro DC on a PC and using the Adobe Reader app on an iPad. It's the same problem on both platforms. Is it possible for me to see these comments? Or my colleague send the file in a way that allows me to view comments?

I've attached a screenshot of what it looks like to see the image of comment, but the toolbar tells me that there is no comment in the document. There's probably 75 to 100 comments overall, and I just want to be able to read the content within each of them.

No idea or help that you can offer would be much appreciated!

    Thank you!

    Nicolai

    Comments not appearing.png

It is a comment 'flattened' in the PDF file.  In Acrobat, it could have been made using the tool controls upstream, save as optimized, or via the method JS "this.flattenPages ()";.  One of these processes basically destroyed the annotation and there is content, leaving only this is a graphic representation.
